Rick Sanchez ‘Friends of Rick Sanchez’ Launch Website Defense

It may seem like forever ago, but there once was an anchor at CNN named Rick Sanchez who called Jon Stewart a bigot and said Jews run the media. Those comments led to Sanchez’s firing. Now, three months later, a group calling itself “Friends of Rick Sanchez” has launched a website defending the oft-ridiculed newsman.
“This site has been put up by Rick’s friends, people who have cared about him for many years,” the site explains. “Rick is a good man with a long history of success in the television industry. We created this site because we don’t believe a man’s life should be judged by one misconstrued moment, one interview, one soundbite taken out of context. We believe that runaway headlines shouldn’t malign someone’s reputation, leaving him unemployed and ruined.”
Among the chief claims of the site: Sanchez never said Jews run the media. It links to several articles that claim his now infamous rant was actually referring to “snooty white liberal elites.” It made that point clear during a couple recent tweets from it’s official Twitter account:
A tour around the site, friendsofricksanchez.com, shows the deposed anchor hasn’t really been up to much. In the “Where’s Rick?” section, his “friends” spend seven paragraphs outlining his blase endeavors since the firing.
Business Insider is unconvinced the site is the work of simply “friends,” and instead suggests its the work of the former anchor himself. BI also points out that Sanchez is appearing with Rabbi Shmuley Boteach soon in order to trumpet, not surprisingly, the same exact message his “friends’” are pedaling on their site:
“My career path was changed because of a misconstrued comment, which very few actually even bothered to listen to. I have spent the last few months concentrating on my family, but instantly jumped at the opportunity for a public dialogue with my friend, Rabbi Shmuley Boteach. I look forward to addressing any and all questions and concerns of the Jewish community.”
Sanchez has also been pushing the site on his own Twitter account:
To recap, what we have is a completely, 100% independent site supporting Rick Sanchez and trumpeting the same I’ve-been-taken-out-of-context message he’s set to debut to a Jewish rabbi (who by the way wrote such gripping books as “Shalom in the Home” and “Kosher Sex”).
Just coincidences.

Mainly because they had been literate for centuries, because of the Talmud. Every where theyve been since, has the same story to tell of the Jews…”They came, and took commerce over”. The reason for this dominance, is ‘fear of God.’ When a people is working to stay in the will of God, they enjoy more prosperity. They have more efficient communication and as a result have better thinking. In other words they were smarter!! This may be one reason that they attract so much hatred.

There are many references in ancient history about the Jews and control of commerce especially regarding precious metals and gems. Artwork and craftsmanship lends credence also. Cutting stones has always been about getting the most value from the weight of the material.

They had the birthright of being born Jews, but have certainly acted dishonorably toward Jews in their lifetimes. Many of these folks have changed their names like soro’s father did, so as not to “sound” Jewish, and back then it could have been a matter of life or death. Later, not so much. Soros’s statement that his favorite year of his life was the year he accompanied the person who was confiscating Jewish property and dispossessing Jews certainly speaks for itself. While that horrifies me, it is certainly no secret that soros owns or funds over 400 anti American themed organizations and much of those are media. And it is certainly no secret that anyone who goes against the progressive propaganda line is dealt with quickly nd severely.

From what I have read and from the clips that I have viewed I am not surprised at the reaction from that particular network. As an obviuos progressive voice it seems Mr. Sanchez broke away slightly from their agenda. It is quite clear that anyone that does so even in the slightest manor must be silenced and destroyed if at all possible. Perhaps Mr. Sanchez needs to re-evaluate his thinking and face the facts. No one that sways from the progressive political agenda will be given the opportunity to do it again. Let that be a lesson to those who might try to actually give an opinion that disagrees in any way. A little taste of reality Mr. Sanchez. Maybe being fired from CNN will be a blessing in disguise.

He is bit left of my ideal, but he is thoughtful and intelligent, When he says something I don’t agree with, I take the time to investigate. That IS his value, to my mind, on Fox. Glenn Beck has back-tracked on this one, but I think his original opinion was correct because Black Liberation Theology is racist on its face!
You can’t say that the “white man” oppresses the “black man” without taking a racist position – it‘s racist to classify human behaviors by the color of someone’s skin!
It is because it is impossible for color to determine behavior that it’s not logically possible for there to even exist such a thing as race-based class warfare.
INDIVIDUALS who believe either that their own race is special, or that another’s makes them worth less, are wrong because of their ideology – not because of the color of their skin.
So, yes: In that Barack Obama believes in Black Liberation theology (or any kind of race-based Liberation Theology), he is most certainly a racist.
