Rick Santelli Takes 60 Seconds to Describe the Difference Between Tea Party and Occupy Movement

During an interview on Squawk Box, on-air editor of CNBC Business News Rick Santelli quickly broke down the difference between the Tea Party and the Occupy Movement:
While the vandals are on the street corners, the Tea Party conservatives they’re working state houses, the governorships, the mayorships, the Senate, the House. See, they understand, they’ve read the Constitution. If you want to make a difference, don’t go break windows, okay? Break some phony arguments that things like austerity are going to put you in the hole. What put you in the hole is borrowing 38 cents of every dollar you spent. That’s what put you in the hole, pure and simple. Everything else is political spin.

Posted on February 16, 2012 at 7:33amOh man, what a day this has turned out to be. Sarah Palin has been all over Fox News today, including making a surprise appearance on The Five, setting between Bob Beckel and Eric Bolling, who has been teasing her appearance on his Fox Business News show Follow the Money, which brings us to what currently has everyone buzzing.
This is a supposed transcript from the interview she did with Eric, from
BOLLING: Governor, a lot of people are saying it can’t happen. I don’t necessarily agree with them. If one of the nominees, one of the GOPers, doesn’t get enough delegates, it could go the a brokered convention.
If it does get to that and someone said, Governor, would you be interested, would you be interested?
PALIN: Well, for one, I think that it could get to that. And I — you know, if it had to — if it had to be kind of closed up today, the whole nominating process, then we would be looking at a brokered convention.

Posted on February 16, 2012 at 7:48pmTurned off “The Five” after dope Bob B called murdering Che a “freedom fighter”. Haven’t watched it since, nor will I. They should have given Beck’s spot to Stossel. Nothing like a former liberal who finally got it to irritate the crap out of the left. And Palin lost me when she jumped on progressive Newt’s (the real politic Wilsonian) bandwagon. Doesn’t jive with what she claims to be, so I question why. Shame that the Republican establishment won’t back a true conservative, because they think a “moderate” is the only chance to beat O. People are tired of posers, and want the truth and someone who lives what he claims to believe. THAT’S the tea party. Occupy will support any mask, no matter how false, if it gets them the “stuff” that they think they’re getting cheated out of.

Posted on February 16, 2012 at 12:25amWith all due respect, he needs to stay where he is otherwise that place would be a total disaster. Had he been over at FBN, there is a good chance the TEA party wouldn’t have been initiated.
Think about it. “One of them” getting fed up with the “garbage” on the Liberal channel, straightens them out and viola!

Posted on February 16, 2012 at 5:42am@pattybbb1 The Judge was “outed” because he didn’t get ratings. They gave him an opportunity. It didn‘t work out because he didn’t draw in viewers and bottom line……If nobody is watching…..the show must be looked at and/or pulled from the lineup. Nothing personal……Its how business works. Don’t be a loon. Think!

Shrink the government and spend more on what the government is supposed to be doing, and next to nothing on what it isn’t. We’d have a balanced budget and be debt-free in less than a decade if we DOUBLED defense spending and reformed Social Security, welfare and Medicare. But everybody wants something for nothing and more for having more kids.

Posted on February 16, 2012 at 11:35amHIDDEN_LION, NAFTA at least keeps the jobs in the same hemisphere. Is it perfect? No, but its main purpose, which needs some tweaking, is to reduce the number of illegals coming across the borders because the jobs are in their own country. It is a lot better than across half the Pacific Ocean, right?

Posted on February 15, 2012 at 9:33pmThe Media, the democrats and the RINO’s have done all they can to portray hardworking, freedom loving, Americans, as a group that gets in the way of “Progress”. Well you know what? We are still here and we ARE standing in the way – because America is “progressing” toward the edge of a cliff. We have given warning, we have placed barriers by voting for those that will say stop. I congradulate those in Congress that have had the courage to stand for what is right. We are here. We are working. We are surviving. Our prayers are rising to our God in heaven. May God bless America.

Posted on February 15, 2012 at 9:23pmThe Tea Party set the stage for some “phony arguments” to be broken.
Ever notice that Obama defenders inevitably
talk over,
interrupt,
shake their heads,
breath loud sighs,
giggle like there is an idiot or liar in the room,
(and other ruid behaviors)
when anyone
speaks in opposition to,
expresses concern about,
dissagrees with,
or questions
Obama, his administration, his words, his actions (or lack of) ?
….talking points, talking points, talking points which are really pointless !
….distract, distract, distract !
….call it, “the will of the people” haha: 99% ? Really?
The latest tactic some are brazen enough to say,
“Don’t interrupt me” !

Posted on February 15, 2012 at 8:28pmToo bad the simpletons at CNBC looked so dumbfounded…they still didn’t get it, or maybe they had the firmer stuff of their being scared out of them. I’m sure to them the only constitution they understood when they spend time in the bathroom. This phase of the Tea Party has been pretty down played of having reasonable people talking to those who are representing them in government, and getting their points of view across to elected offical in a civil way. Imagine, the people lobbying elected officals being organized groups of private citizens who can actually vote for the individuals they are talking to from their own districts! How radical of concerned citizens! Pour on the heat Rick!

Posted on February 15, 2012 at 8:26pmI like Rick I bet he would say a lot more if he wasn’t “enslaved” by CNBC! The other difference between the two is simple, Evil vs Good! As quickly as I put this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E-puI-_XwSw together it became outdated!
Its so clear though in differentiating the two groups. Of course the propagandist arms of the White House continue to paint the TEA Party as the bad guy who to this day the propagandists have not been able to produce any video evidence of violence, vandalism, destruction of property, rape, racism, shootings etc. No instead they just keep repeating the lie that the TP is all of these things to the brainless uneducated, uninformed, unengaged zombies of America so eventually the lie becomes the truth. From there the progressives who for some unknown reason have so much power will write our history recording the TP as criminals.
Just amazing how everything Occupy has done the TP is accused of; its get your BP through the roof! How much more America until you truly wake up? SavingtheRepublic.com TAPGW
