Rick Santorum’s Big Announcement

After a tough-fought, and ultimately unsuccessful go in the Republican presidential primary campaign, Rick Santorum has lain low. The former Pennsylvania senator gave a luke-warm endorsement of his former rival Mitt Romney last month, and on Friday Santorum made a much anticipated announcement that he will spend his time running a new group “Patriot Voices“ to work to defeat President Obama and his “radical agenda.” The organization’s mission statement reads:
Patriot Voices is a grassroots and online community of Americans from across the country who stand together to affect change that otherwise could not be accomplished alone. We know that standing on the sidelines is not an option. We are committed to promoting faith, family, freedom and opportunity. We believe that we’re one nation under God and all we do must be consistent with the Declaration of Independence, Constitution and Bill of Rights. We support candidates who share our convictions and hold those accountable that serve us in elected office. We believe that the defeat of Barack Obama, and those who support his policies, must be our first priority.
We further believe that family is the foundation for a healthy society and strong economy. We believe in freedom and American exceptionalism. We believe in entrepreneurship and opportunity. We believe in personal responsibility. We are also a voice for those who often cannot fight for themselves – the unborn, the disabled, the elderly, and those struggling economically in these difficult times. With a goal of 1 million voices united, we will transform the political landscape of our country.
The organization‘s core focus areas will be defeating President Obama’s reelection attempt, expanding opportunities for all Americans by advocating policies that encourage traditional marriage, support children and free enterprise, standing for freedom and its defenders like those currently in the military, veterans and Israel, repealing Obamacare and government dependency programs that infringe on freedoms, and renewing America as an economic power by protecting the country’s innovative spirit, restarting our manufacturing capabilities and unleashing America’s domestic energy potential through pro-growth tax and regulatory reforms.
CBS News reports that Patriot Voices is an IRS-designated 501c4.

Posted on June 9, 2012 at 10:28pmAs the campaign focused more on Santorum as the ABR guy, it didn’t take long to see how self-centered and self-serving Rick S is. His dishonest attacks on Gov MRomney were especially disappointing, especially as the “religious” right sought to find ABR. From Santorum being held to a totally different standard with his pro-choice stance before running for office to attending a pro-choice/abortion rally with Arlen Specter (yes, I’ve seen the video) and his wife living w/abortion dr. for 5 yrs before marrying Rick S……..he gets a TOTAL pass. He seems like a very sore loser over this whole campaign thing.
WHAT should Rick S do? “Drop leaflets from the sky?” He could follow the statesmanlike behavior of Mitt Romney 4 years: once the math is evident, drop out GRACIOUSLY and go to work to help the obvious nominee win!
Unfortunately, I’ve seen nothing like that from Santorum. He seems as narcissistic as the current occupier of the WH.
I’m going to do all I can to get Mitt in the WH. Santorum appears to be mainly concerned with running again in 2016. Oh, how, I‘m glad he’s NOT our nominee!

In the late 1930′s 450, 000 Jewish people left Germany as Hiltler began to carry out his attacks on Jews. Most Jews decided they would stay in Germany and ride out the coming persecution not wanting to give up their homes or wealth. We know what ill happened to over 6 million of them. It’s no different today in the US. FEMA camps to house 56 million people are being built by Halliburton to hold disenting work slaves. Freedom was taken by executive order. Executive Order 51 is in place to create instant dictatorship. One call to the local FEMA director and they begin rounding up your family. Americans believe it will never happen in America. If that’s so how did the NDAA, Patriot Act, TSA rapes, and DHS assaults become sanctioned? You are kidding yourself. The UN is taking over. The soldiers that come for you may be UN Nato forces that speak Polish or Russian.
Report Post »Within 15 years you will be a FEMA work camp prisoner. FEMA can take you out of your house by force, innoculate you by force, strip you naked and hose you down by force, tag you, burn your clothes an give you prison garb, no personal belongings or pets allowed, an intern you indefinately behind razor wire by force and the legislation is all signed. The only thing left is the false flag or real terrorist attack. It’s to late to speak up.

ALL HE WANTS TO DO IS SET OUR FINANCIAL HOUSE IN ORDER. DOES NOT WANT TO BE YOUR MOMMY OR TELL YOU HOW TO LIVE. NO DESIRE TO CONTROL YOUR LIFE. JUST WANTS YOU TO HAVE MONEY IN YOUR POCKET.

Right so we got Romeny because Santorum was not ready?
Were you awake during the primaries?
We have 6 front runners at various points.
Pawlenty – early favorite, bored electorate.
Bachman – Iowa, sounded like a whiner, when down a religious rat hole
Paul – Post Iowa, never broke the credibility gap
Cain – turned out to be a rat
Gingrich – Romney buried him in millions of negative adds
Santorum – last man standing, could not build critical mass, outspent
The only question you need to ask is who bought the election and bankrolled a liberal like Romney and why are you/they in the same party?
You may also want to look at who owns the Heritage Foundation and FOX News. The answer has to do with $10 Trillion spent on home land security and military spending.
Until we slash spending including the military in half, exit global govt and stop selling hand-outs for votes this country is doomed.
Ron Paul was the best combo of a libertarian and a deeply religious and pro-life Republican.

After all we are AMERICA where you are free to be who you want. If you don‘t like the social morays of someone else don’t do it in your house. But you’ve got no standing to declare Romney is too socially Liberal to run for President. He is not running to keep morals in check. He is not desiring to be your compass. All he talks about day after day is restoring American Economics. To say he is Fiscally Liberal is nuts. Anyone who ran a company that knows when to pull the plug and dissolve it is not fiscally Liberal. You have to do deep economic changes in a specific order so you don’t burn down the house. I think he knows what to do with big money so relax. TAKE A DEEP BREATH. So many get too focused on the trees they miss the forest. Unleashed Obama will be a nightmare. Posted on June 9, 2012 at 5:34pmWhat you Paul supporters seem to be forgetting is that without some honorable statesmen (not politicians) and a violent revolution, you are not going to be able to tear down everything in one election. It wouldn’t even be an election anymore at that point. Are you prepared to take up arms and go to Washington? Are you prepared to be literally branded a traitor and marked with treason? Because in order to do what you want to do, that is what you must be willing to do.
I‘m not saying I don’t agree with you. I do think you have some good points. But I wonder if you’re really willing to stand up and FIGHT for it. Not vote for Ron Paul, but actually stand up and FIGHT. I and many others are not willing to do that just yet. Of course, by that one statement, you’ve now branded me a party line towing progressive. I’m ok with that (you’re wrong). I realize that it’s going to take a long time for most people to realize that both parties are to blame and that we need to simply stop looking to politicians to solve our problems.
If you want to get rid of the Federal Reserve, stop accepting cash as payment for goods. Start bartering with people and pay for things with Gold. I think your bank would think you were weird if you brought in an ounce or two of Gold to pay your mortgage, but they’d probably accept it. Nothing is stopping you from doing these things. You don’t need Ron Paul to get rid of the Fed. Just stop using the money.

Unlike you Billy, I’m not very interested to lump myself in with one political party.
As I’ve said before, which you seem to either forget or ignore in your attempts to try and cast me as some baby eating, socialist monster.
I voted in my State’s primary, and voted for Romney because I thought he was the only one who could actually get any kind of independent vote.
Why do you always hear the person who is probably the least likely to get nominated/elected rally against the “establishment” Republicans/Democrats. Because the establishment will ALWAYS do what’s best for the party regardless of what is best for the country.
They know that in the end, all of their sheeple voters will eventually say, “well I may not like my parties candidate, but I SURE as heck don’t want the other parties guy”
The only way you‘ll get serious change is if you get legitimate candidates who aren’t mainstream and aren’t crazy.
If Santorum wasn’t as insane as he is, and have as many asinine comments as he did, he might have put up a better fight against the “establishment.” His stances on a lot of issues and a lot of his previous comments made him completely forbidden in terms of winning a President election.

Posted on June 9, 2012 at 2:38amChill out MOD,
I voted for Romney also.
But not for the same reason that you really did.
I don’t see a theocracy hiding behind every corner.
Now the question is this…….will you vote for Romney in November?
Be honest now.
I will.

I find it weird that you will ask me the same question over and over and I will give you the same answer over and over.
Yet when I ask you questions you don’t answer them.

Posted on June 8, 2012 at 8:15pmReally? We have the Tea Party, Freedomworks,9/11, etc. We need another one? No. This is all about him keeping in the public eye and trying to get elected to something. Why doesn’t he just work with Glenn and all those trying to good things with him?

Posted on June 8, 2012 at 8:26pmActually we need to keep our eyes WIDE OPEN when it comes to FAKE-conservative GOP groups.
The Tea Party Express, Tea Party Nation, Tea Party Patriots, FreedomWorks and ANYTHING Glenn Beck puts together is FAKE-TEA GOP – folks and orgs whose SOLE OBJECTIVE IS PRESERVATION OF THE LEFTIST REPUBLICAN PARTY.
The REAL “tea parties” are DECENTRALIZED, LOCAL, NON-AFFILIATED WITH ANY PARTY and have, with the LEFTIST GOP co-opting of much of it, evolved into LIBERTY movements, NULLIFICATION movements and Ron Paul supporters.
Rick Santorum is a flaming LEFTIST. And his org’s mission statement is the POLAR OPPOSITE of his voting record.

Correct. As I said they PRESERVE THE LEFTIST REPUBLICAN PARTY. They infiltrate, body-snatch and SMOTHER ANY third party or Constitutionalist efforts.

Posted on June 9, 2012 at 11:20amI completely agree with you. These career politicians use these PACs as a vehicle for self promotion. They should just encourage people to donate money to the established conservative groups. They can contribute ideas to these groups but why create a new group which will only dilute resources.
I absolutely do not trust Santorum at all. He is a big government Republican just like Spector who loves unions. He is also a lobbyist who will say whatever anyone wants him to say if the money is right.

Report Post »Between 2001-2006 the UN sanctioned Iraq war killed 500,000 children. The UN says this was acceptable in the name of freedom. Our military is being used as trained killers against even the innocent. The war is being fought on behalf of the world bankers. The US is just a pawn. The bankers control the UN. I completely agree that the suicide rate is horrible. You and I both have plenty of brothers who are messed up because of the wars. I’m not a Paul guy, but I want the wars to end as soon as friggin possible. But we’ve had this discussion before.
On a side note, you sane Paul guys need to reign in your boys like prosecute… doesn’t exactly help your cause…

Posted on June 9, 2012 at 10:23am@RESME – Yes, something needs to be done about the suicide rates. I really don’t know why the rates are so high right now even compared to historic wartime. Maybe its the length of these wars? – over 10 years now… Its definitely not a matter of mental weakness since these young men and women were bold enough to volunteer during wartime. I really don’t know how to fix this problem. Have there been any studies pointing to a common factor between a majority of the suicides? If someone could figure out a solution (to at least help) then I would be all for donating my time and money to that cause.

Posted on June 9, 2012 at 11:18am@P8triot, They’re putting kids back into combat with PTSD and the drugs you send them back on have suicide listed as the side effect. A four year hitch means you’ll spend 2-3 years over there. It’s no longer “one and done”. They’re going to have to reinstate the draft to continue this nation building. Well if they actually care about these young men and want to fix it. Meh, Iran should collapse us anyway. That’s even if the Chinese and Russians decide to sit it out.
