Black CNN Camerawoman Had Nuts Thrown at Her During RNC, Allegedly Told: This is How We Feed Animals

A number of reports out of the Republican National Convention last night indicate that two attendees were kicked out for throwing nuts at a black CNN camerawoman, saying: “this is how we feed animals.”

The left-leaning Talking Points Memo added:

The CNN official declined to confirm specific details of the incident to TPM but generally confirmed an account posted on Twitter by former MSNBC and Current anchor David Shuster: “GOP attendee ejected for throwing nuts at African American CNN camera woman + saying ‘This is how we feed animals.’”

In a written statement, CNN addressed the matter but divulged few details: “CNN can confirm there was an incident directed at an employee inside the Tampa Bay Times Forum earlier this afternoon. CNN worked with convention officials to address this matter and will have no further comment.”

GOP convention spokesman Kyle Downey confirmed for Politico: “Two attendees tonight exhibited deplorable behavior. Their conduct was inexcusable and unacceptable. This kind of behavior will not be tolerated.”

Politico also adds that while the actions certainly do not speak for the Republican Party, it can’t help the impression among many African-Americans that Republicans are old, white racists.

“A recent NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll found that 94 percent of African Americans surveyed supported President Obama, versus 0 percent — yes, zero percent — who supported Mitt Romney,” Politico recalled.

However, it should be noted that while the inexcusable event was occurring, a new star was born at the Republican National Convention– black Utah mayor Mia Love.

Reuters summarized some of the adjectives used to describe the woman: “Rock star. Novelty. Myth-buster. Surprise.”

    I don’t believe this for a second. There are too many examples of fake hatred in the news vs. No real hatred. Fake hate crimes in Nebraska & Colorado, a brick through a DNC office that turns out to be thrown by a guy that works there, fake spit on CBC members from the Tea Party, etc.

    We need to stop reacting as if Conservatives are horrible people pretending to do good things and realize that there are liars out there ready to say or do anything to promote an agenda.

      No, locked, there are a number of open seats in the stands that can be filled by anyone who says they want to attend. Getting access is fairly easy. I attended the convention in Nawlins [sic] just by asking for tickets from the local GOP office. Notice it says “attendees” and not “delegates.” I doubt very seriously that it was delegates, assuming the story is accurate.

      By the way. The whole thing was very boring and hectic, so unless I get nominated (that’s a joke), I won’t go back. I did enjoy Bourbon Street, what I remember of it.

      This whole thing is a LIE probably promoted by obama operatives. My other guess: the camera woman might have been in on it too. If she had a camera, why didn’t she take a photo of the incident or at least take a photo of the ones who did the dirty deed, if indeed they did.

      UNION PLANTS…I mean look at the article…no dispute or altercation reported..nothing to provoke the racially tinged attack. And curiously…a camerawoman and reporters all over the place and no one caught an image of the assailants.
      These were union plants trying to foment the impression that Republicans are racists. Just like when MSLSD cropped a photo of a black man at a town hall who was carrying a weapon (legal in his state). The photo was cropped to hide his race then MSLSD used the altered photo to begin the “racist, dangerous tea partiers” smear campaign. This kind of stuff isnt’ beyond the professional left in this country.

      This is the action of a desperate professional left who can see power and influence slipping from their grasp. The public sector unions have lost the war of ideas.       I went to the first huge Tea Party rally in Cincinnati back at the beginning of the movement ,probably around 7000 people. After the “press” finally decided to show their focus was on one lone black woman walking back and forth holding up a piece of paper which had “obama” written on it saying “obama”,“obama” over and over ,I mean that was the only thing they were interested in.

      That evening I watched the Local news stories and they claimed that that they had to leave because they were intimidated by the protesters and were afraid of violence directed at them . NEVER HAPPENED . It was a festival atmosphere and people couldn’t have been more friendly ,a few people questioned why the media were focusing on one lone liberal while thousands of people were protesting obama . A real eye opener ,so I believe NOTHING the media says they just create their own news.

      Some thoughts and questions:
      1) if it did happen, did they misbehave out of anger at CNN, or because the report is allegedly “black”?
      2) Is the reporter actually black? Prove it. Were the “perpetrators” white? It is assumed in the article they were white.
      3) where are the videos? You telling me CNN was there but they didn’t have any cameras nearby?

      The MSM demonizes conservatives & Republicans. It has an effect. As well as there being the 1st black president whether he is good or bad. there were much better qualified African Americans available to be President instead of “private preparatory school, my Grandma is a banker” Obama.

DNC plants) did something deplorable. I’m sure at the time of this so-called ‘deplorale act’ the GOP convention officials have not been able to confirm just who these two “plants” are.

      It is so ironic how every time you hear of some crazy and/or deplorable act, supposedly by a Conservative, it is found to be a Liberal/DNC plant 99.9% of the time.

      Here’s a hint: They were thrown out of the GOP convention, because we’re the party that hates racists. GOP, The Grand OLD Party, was started to end slavery. Abe Lincoln was our first president. Republicans wrote and passed the Emancipation Proclamation. 100 years later, after the Democrats begun the KKK and Jim Crow Laws, Republicans wrote and passed the Civil Rights Act.
