Robert Gibbs: Romney Can‘t Criticize Obama’s Tone When He‘s ’Auctioning Off Dinners for the Birther-in-Chief, Right-Wing Nutjob Donald Trump’

Senior Obama campaign adviser Robert Gibbs said Mitt Romney has no room to criticize the president‘s tone on the campaign trail when Romney’s auctioning off dinners with “birther-in-chief, right-wing nutjob Donald Trump” to his own supporters.
Gibbs, also the former White House press secretary, said he wasn’t going to be “lectured by Mitt Romney” about the tone of the campaign. Romney last week said Obama’s campaign was “all about division and attack and hatred.”
“This [Romney] is a guy who’s flown all over the country saying he’s not sure the president believes in America,“ Gibbs said on ”Fox News Sunday.“ ”[He's] auctioning off dinners for the birther-in-chief, right-wing nutjob Donald Trump who questions whether or not the president was born in the United States of America.”
Gibbs also said Vice President Joe Biden’s now-famous “chains” remark last week was not a “racial comment” or “race-baiting.”
Biden told a roughly half-black audience in Virginia on Tuesday that Romney would “let the big banks once again write their own rules – unchain Wall Street. They’re going to put y’all back in chains.”
“No more race-baiting than when [Republican House Speaker] John Boehner says let’s unshackle Wall Street, let’s unshackle big business,” Gibbs said. “I think the vice president was correct in exactly what happens when we unshackle Wall Street and let Wall Street go back to writing its own rules…that’s what got us into this mess.”
Gibbs insisted that Biden is “absolutely not” a drag on the presidential ticket, despite recent speculation that he could be dumped.
“I‘m happy and proud of Joe Biden and I’m happy and proud to have him on the trail every day,” Gibbs said.

Got a link for that? I seem to recall his lawyers actually argued that he had no legal requirement to provide his birth certificate to an individual state. The judge agreed. The one article (from a rag called the Examiner) that reported falsely that Obama’s team declared the long-form birth certificate to be a forgery later changed their article say “alluded to” and removed a paragraph about the birth certificate being a fake.

The judge asked if the electronic version of Obama’s birth certificate from his website could be used as evidence; Hill said no. Why? Because it isn’t the actual birth certificate (ie, paper copy); it’s just an image of it. The entire portion of the article saying “She admitted it was a forgery” was a blatant lie; she just said that a digital copy from a website cannot be submitted as evidence. The court did not even request the actual birth certificate.
Wow, I now know a lot more about this than I ever thought I would. It’s amazing how people will lie about things like this, and others will take it as fact!
