Romanian Soccer Fan Storms Field and Breaks Player’s Cheek With Blindsided Punch

It’s a sucker punch of the highest lowest order. A Romanian soccer fan, upset over a call on the field, stormed the pitch during a match between Steaua Bucharest & Petrolul Ploiesti and punched a Bucharest defender from behind.

Not only did he break the cheek of the player, George Galamaz, but he then set his sites on other players.

That didn’t work out too well, though. The attacker was eventually tackled and even kicked by other players before being arrested. You can watch it all unfold below:

Must have lost some money on that call. Nutcase soccer fanatics. I‘m sure he’ll get a visit at home from the soccer ‘police’.

I prefer playing ice hockey. It’s safer.

I have pondered the violence by fans at soccer games in Europe for a while and here is my hypothesis:
The fans live in centrally controlled societies where they are told what to do with their lives on so many levels. They live in cast systems by in large and this grates on them as a people. Man yearns to be free. Their passions are inflamed by sport. It is one of the few socially acceptable emotional releases available to them. (Well, they are generally more rude than Americans. especially more than southern folks like myself.) But their anger is exposed and mob mentality or group think takes over in situations like this video shows.
    What are your thoughts?

Judeo/Christian morality has also been expunged in Europe. It has been replaced with secularism — specifically the notion that objective morality is irrelevant. When a culture can no longer anchor its morals to any secure foundation it begins to fracture. Each person begins to administer the justice he or she deems appropriate and in the process utterly disregards the moral consequences.

Like someone once said, “If God is dead, then everything is permissible.”

Our nation has an anchor that is under attack. Our Founders rightly understood that the foundation of any free society is a solemn acknowledgement of God Almighty as Creator and arbiter of true liberty. Without God in the paradigm moral relativism rushes in to fill the void and ultimately secularism takes hold.

We can continue to focus strictly on the symptoms of our nation’s problems or we can shift our focus to the source of our problems which is that we have walked away from God. Until we acknowledge that, nothing in America will ever change no matter who’s in the White House.

This is nothing new. Thousands of sick children are abandoned in Romania each year – many left to die like animals.

This is how the other part of the world lives.

      @TitaniumGold

I used to work for a software company where 70% of the employees where either from Russia or Romania. The Romanian employees were all here in the United States on H1 work visas.

The opinion I have formulated about Romania is based on conversations I had with these Romanians while working at this company. According to these Romanians, atrocities such as the ones I previously mentioned are common place in their native land.

Also, according to these Romanians, Romania is a hell hole and said they were exceedingly glad they were no longer living there.

      Alright, I get your point.
I lived in Jacksonville, Florida for about 8 years till 2008 when I moved back to Romania. I have a completely different view on everything. I could go on and on about how USA is the real hell hole but I’ll just leave it be.
      -Best of luck, Titanium.

Hey Ari Ben Tzion, your opinions on Romania are about 25 years out of date. They’ve come a long way since the days of Ceausescu and the communists. The treatment of children that you are referring to happened in 1989 (and earlier). Romania is now doing better; though not yet a first-world country, it is to well off economically to be referred to as third-world.

Keeping up to date with things is important. Comments made as if you’ve just stepped out of the DeLorean and 1985 make great fodder for the creeps at the Daily Kos.

The most remarkable part to me was that the fan did not get a proper beat down. I was expecting to see some sweet head kicks or something in defense or retribution for their teammate…maybe they did not like him, but they acted like a bunch of girls. Proof that soccer is a girl’s sport.

In defense of hockey, a waste of electricity to me, fighting is a part of the sport. It is legal and expected. Basketball and soccer, or ‘football’ to the eurotrashians, don’t involve much punching except when some idiot trash goes apey. Trash is trash in any country or skin color.

During Roman times it was the games in the colliseum and the chariot races. People identified their favorites by colors. They were either green, blue, etc., and oftentimes those colors carried on in the family for generations.

The Roman ruling authority used the diversions to keep the unwashed masses preoccupied with something other than demanding the head of whatever dictator might be in power at the time.

Nowadays it is soccer outside the US and football within, and it is these kinds of spectator sports that roil the masses and prompt them to riot, overturn cars, and burn the city…either for a win or a loss….or…… run onto the field and punch a player for God only knows what the reason might be.

But, whatever the game, the elites the world over look down on the unwashed masses and are content that they’re concentrating on such trivial matters, while they, the self-appointed ruling class, burn the cities and commit crimes of outrageous proportions without drawing much attention to themselves.

Spectator sports are the opiate of the masses. It diverts their attention adequately so they can be properly led by a ring through their noses.
