Romney Aide Loses His Temper With Reporters in Poland: ‘Kiss My A**’

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s international trip was just starting to look up when his traveling Press Secretary, Rick Gorka, told reporters to “kiss my a**.”

Romney received the de facto endorsement of the influential former Polish president Lech Walesa yesterday. But today, during a visit to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Warsaw, things took a turn.

After the Romney family laid a wreath at the memorial and paid their respects, a group of CNN, New York Times, and Washington Post reporters, it seems, starting yelling at the governor about the “gaffes” of his trip.

CNN provided a transcript of the altercation:

CNN: “Governor Romney are you concerned about some of the mishaps of your trip?”

NYT: “Governor Romney do you have a statement for the Palestinians?”

Washington Post: “What about your gaffes?”

NYT: “Governor Romney do you feel that your gaffes have overshadowed your foreign trip?”

CNN: “Governor Romney just a few questions sir, you haven’t taken but three questions on this trip from the press!”

Gorka: “Show some respect”

NYT: “We haven’t had another chance to ask a question…”

Gorka: “Kiss my ass. This is a Holy site for the Polish people. Show some respect.”

Moments later, Gorka told Jonathan Martin, a reporter for Politico, to “shove it.”

The aide later called reporters to apologize, but the Obama camp made sure to jump on the incident.

Jen Psaki, the deputy campaign press secretary for the administration, commented that Romney has now made a “series of fumbles.”

“He’s been fumbling the foreign policy football from country to country. And there’s a threshold question that he has to answer for the American people and that’s whether he’s prepared to be commander-in-chief…. This raises some questions about his preparedness,” she added.

    I believe the Romney camp has just stumbled upon its new campaign slogan.

    I‘m sure that a creative artistic designer could even find a use for the current administration’s ‘O’ logo as the ‘centerpiece’ for a new ‘Kiss my ***’ logo design.

      This actually makes me like Romney more… which isn’t much. But at least the media seems to have a genuine disdain for the man, and like me, his staff has a genuine disdain for the media. How does that go? The enemy of my enemy is my friend… The media is rallying the right and there’s nothing they can do to stop it; must be really frustrating for them. Good, because watching them propagandize, slobber, drool, and get tingles up their legs for a President has been frustrating the entire country the last 4 years. Time they see how truly powerless they are.

      After managing the offend the entire country of England, someone finally told Romney to shut up. When he talks most people realize they don’t like him. So he’s not talking, but the press is still asking questions. What are the supposed to do? When does the press never yell questions?

Reminds me of the U.S. press idiots that I saw while at the funerals for two Brit Paratroopers recently located near Arnhem, Holland in September of ‘93. It was the U.S. press who were the mouthy idiots at that somber gathering too. BTW, So many British paratroopers where quickly buried in their foxholes by their own troops or by artillery fire at the well known battle known to us as A Bridge Too Far, that they are still to this day found on occasions.       President Obama leads Mitt Romney among likely voters in Ohio and Florida – and has a double-digit lead in Pennsylvania – according to a Quinnipiac University/CBS News/New York Times poll released this morning.

      The poll, conducted from July 24-30, shows Mr. Obama leading his presumptive Republican challenger 53 percent to 42 percent in Pennsylvania. The 11-point lead results largely from independents, who favor the president by 22 points, and women, who favor the president by 24 points.

      Mr. Obama holds a six-point lead in Ohio, 50 percent to 44 percent, a state where he holds a campaign event later today. His lead here is also due in large part to women, who back him by a 21-point margin. Romney leads by ten points among Ohio men, and seven points among Ohio whites.

      In Florida, Mr. Obama also holds a six point lead, 51 percent to 45 percent. He holds a small lead among both men and women and a 19-point lead among Hispanics, while Romney leads by double-digits among whites and voters age 65 and above.

      There were no gaffes. Romney spoke of “concerns” about certain elements of the Olympics Logistics (and the photos of the vast majority of the seats being empty is all the defense he needed). Romney’s trip has been a great success but the little demon/minions who make up the MSM have been told by Obama’s handlers: Attack Romney.
      Sorry, little boys and girls, it won’t work. Romney’s trip has been extremely successful. He LOOKS like a President; the ACTS like a PRESIDENT and he represents America LIKE A PRESIDENT. Go home little MSM, your inability to tell the truth and report accurately has caused your demise.

      Ron Paul would get less enthusiasm than John McCain! Listen…I like Ron Paul. I don’t agree with him on everything but he is honest. That goes a long way. But he simply has no support. He never did. People use selective polls and silly youtube presentations, but the proof was in the primaries. Ron Paul couldn’t hold a candle to Obama, heck, he couldn’t even challenge any of the other candidates that ran. He was dead last state after state. Wake up!

      To the lamestream media? I can’t remember the last time I tuned in. Oh, wait, yes I can. It was the last day that Glenn was on Fox. Haven’t watched _any_ of them since then. I get all my news online from a wide variety of sources, but not at all from the TV teleprompter readers.

    Gorka, hmmm, I can see the birth of next White House Press Secretary. This guy might even outperform Marlin Fitzwater who absolutely cut the idiotic press off at the knees in so many press conferences. Naturally, only when asking stupid questions, or topics they had already been warned were off limits, such as intelligence gathering, military secrets and such. I loved that guy.

      He needs to give them some set responses because the Lap Dog Media will peck away at the same issues for the rest of the campaign. The secret is to remain calm but put the media in their place . It’s pure Alinsky . The Republicans need to study and learn these Alinsky tactics which govern the Democrats’ strategy – from the OWS to the reporters…all the same mess. Forward – over the cliff !

    Gaffe to the press means Romney has a different opinion than Obama …
    That’s not a gaffe, that is the difference between the two.
    What he said in Israel was correct by even UN reports.
    What he said in England was true. So, where’s the gaffes?
