Romney Campaign Launches New Website Embracing His Work at Bain Capital

With just hours to go before Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney speaks at the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Fla., his campaign has boldly embraced his career in the private sector with a new website titled Romney’s Sterling Business Career.

“Governor Romney’s work at Bain Capital was about fixing companies that were broken and giving new companies a shot at success,” the site proudly proclaims.

Featuring multiple videos and testimonials promoting the former Massachusetts governor’s experiences in the private sector, the website is notable for a few reasons.

First, because it signals that the Romney/Ryan ticket is absolutely determined to make this election about the U.S. economy — not the “war on women” or supposed racial “dog whistles.”

The second reason the site is notable is because its name, Romney’s “Sterling Business Career,” is based on a quote from former President Bill Clinton:

“So I don’t think that we ought to get in the position where we say this is bad work, this is good work. I think, however, the real issue ought to be what has Governor Romney advocated in the campaign that he will do as president?” Clinton said during a CNN interview.

“There’s no question that in terms of getting up and going to the office, and you know, basically performing the essential functions of the office, a man who has been governor and had a sterling business career crosses the qualification threshold [emphasis added],” he added.

Considering the fact that Bill Clinton will appear as a keynote speaker at the Democrat National Convention in Charlotte, N.C, next month, having the Romney campaign launch a website using his own words against him might be just a little embarrassing — especially if Democrats want to continue down the whole “You Didn’t  Build That,” Bain-bashing road.

“The Obama campaign‘s attacks on business and free enterprise aren’t just false; they explain why we aren’t creating jobs. They reveal what this President really thinks about free enterprise,” the Romney campaign’s new website claims.

“This is the most anti-business President in memory, and the results are clear: 23 million Americans are struggling for work, and unemployment has been above eight percent for 42 straight months. It’s time to make a change to someone who understands the private sector and can get America working again,” the site adds.

    I KNEW He’d Say That!

But Romney is just Obama with a different skin color (although his heart is just as black.)

“This is how we got the expansion of Medicare to cover drugs. This is how we get new entitlements like ObamaCare. And this, this is how Republicans respond to claims on, or a tax on, individuals are in the Constitution — by conceding to the utopian arguments and managing the expansion of the welfare state. That is exactly what Romney did in Massachusetts. … That is a fact. Santorum has never supported it. Ron Paul, to his credit, has never supported it. … But Romney defends it, at the State level, not at the National level. Ladies and gentlemen, it is not okay if a State treats a citizen this way. And the governor of that State, who running for President, tells us to look at his record ’cause he’s a businessman. And as a businessman he brought these practices to the State. Well, ladies and gentlemen, these are not business practices. These are Statist practices pushing a utopian agenda. It is a mindset. It is a psychology. And just because somebody has an “R” next to their name rather than a “D” doesn’t make it right or defensible. This is not the mindset of the Founding Fathers, who fought for this nation, established this nation, and set in place a Constitution, a Constitution which has as it’s purpose to protect the individual and preserve the civil society.”

While Clinton likes to take a lot of credit, and enjoys beating up Romney, we know that Republicans worked with President Clinton to take America to health…sad, they did not keep the course and pass a balanced budget amendment! Let’s save America, Congress and Mitt!

Gary Johnson actually built a business from the ground up and its doing well now unlike Romney who met someone who offered him a position and did a bad job which is why he left. Also much better record as governor than Romney.

I fear it’s just too late. We now have more people in America that want Socialism over Liberty. They are the local, state, federal employees, teachers, contractors, cops, etc. that keep the white collar welfare machine humming. They far outumber the poor welfare queens and they take far more money, all the while acting like they serve society. Friggin hypocrits, all of them.

Romney is offering war and a police state, not liberty and yes America and the World would prefer a welfare or socialist state over that, if he provided liberty than he could win.

America needs leadership in the economy to bring “gold” to the people.
Obama is waiting to take gold from the leader and give it to the masses.
So for 4 years the US & Obama has been waiting for the leader to show up ….
So America now realises that they elected a follower and not a leader…
Leader ship is coming in Nov….
RomneyRyan = RR = Rolls Royce the leader :)

And what he did at Bain is nothing compared to what he is perpetrating on his own party members:

Mystery speaker is Clint Eastwood. The mystery speech of Romney:

      1) We wanted Obama to succeed and he failed us LOL
      2) We will create 12 million jobs – Make things up
      3) 5 point plan – From 59, soon it will be 1 point plan.
      4) I built a small business from nothing – Teary eyes
      5) There is no Hope, no Change – supposed to be a zinger.
      6) I will be second coming of Reagan – though i have no convictions.
      7) We will have strong defense – blow the budget into more deficit

Fox and Blazers will cheer but there will be no bump in polls.

The only way to defeat a bully is to stand up to the bully. Please stand up to the Democrat Chicago thugs . Explain your actions and educate these dolts about successful capitalism. I don’t think Obama has a clue about that ! Might help many young people who are equally unschooled and, thus, easy prey for the Marxists who brainwash them .

I bet Obama will be sitting in front of the TV tonight – with PENCIL & PAD in hand.
AND WRITING DOWN ROMNEY’S PLANS AS PRESIDENT AND FOR THE COUNTRY.

Anything that WILL turn the economy around, Obama will draw a line through it.
Anything that could make HIM appear to be working on the economy, Obama will give
orders to put it into effect, trying to do it BEFORE ROMNEY. :)

I think THIS is why Romney’s prolonged giving a complete list of what he plans and how.
The Liberal Press has been asking Romney for months, which would haven given
Obama a ” head’s up”, but- Romney is TOO SMART to fall for it.

Romney will give a GREAT acceptance Speech tonight-
We will be 1-step closer to CRANKING THE COUNTRY UP & MAKING IT WORK, AGAIN!

    GO ROMNEY…
    GO RYAN…
    GO AMERICA!!!

To be honest, I could stomach watching it. I despise that man. Even had the opportunity to snub him when he tried pandering to us on the Roosevelt in 93. I sat in the ready room with two warrants and a pilot bashing his policies.
