Romney Mocks Obamas Self Comparison to Lincoln: This Was Not Said on SNL

Shedding what many have described as an awkward sense of humor, Mitt Romney got some laughs in Wisconsin this weekend while mocking Obama’s claim to be the 4th best president.

“Have you heard he said he actually thinks he’s done a great job, and he says only Abraham Lincoln– Lincoln!– FDR, and Lyndon Baines Johnson compare.  I mean this was not said on Saturday Night Live, alright, he said this on the main stream media, and you ask yourself, how can that be?”

Romney was presumably referring to the president’s “60 Minutes” interview back in December, where, when asked what his administration had accomplished, Obama replied that they had “saved” the country from a depression, rescued the auto industry, and “decimated” al-Qaeda, among other things.

However, he continued: “The issue here is not going to be a list of accomplishments…I would put our legislative and foreign policy accomplishments in our first two years against any president, with the possible exceptions of Johnson, FDR, and Lincoln.”

Romney‘s criticism for Obama’s claim was not limited to the stage.  He tweeted Friday:  “Getting ready for WI speech. @BarackObama says he’s 4th best president of all time. How do you rank him? #ObamaLegacy.”

    Haven‘t we all come to realize by now that Obama’s sense of self goes way beyond wacky? He suffers terribly from delusions of grandeur. The problem with this is that it affects all of our lives in the way he governs. It was one thing on the campaign trail, (anyone remember the Greek columns??) but as president, he clearly feels he is more of a Napolean, an Emporer~~not a president. He believes that whatever he wants is sacrosanct and should be achieved by any means possible, because HE WANTS it. He definitely has a God complex. He probably thought he was being modest comparing himself to Lincoln!

      He believes himself to be so “grand” because of the people behind him who promised that he was (Ayers, etc,).

      Believe me… Obama is not happy about how his presidency is working out…

    I would agree that he has done just as much if not more than F.D.R. and L.B.J, h**l, I’ll even throw in Woodrow Wilson. Obama makes these three look like Ronald Reagan.

    However, when it comes to Lincoln, let’s just say our current Commander and Chief is a Tug Boat pushing a Barge of Socialism compared to Carrier of Freedom and Liberty.

      It’s hard to tell if Sweet Old Barack or Jimmy Carter rates as the worst. We have had some bad ones like US Grant and poor old Herbert Hoover but none any worse that Carter ans Sweet Old Barack.

    Obama would have never had a chance to say this crap had speaker Boehner done his job and IMPEACHED Obama!!!!!! But Boehner is a Rino and is worthless as a Speaker!! The cazy speaker Pelosi did more than *****!!!!! Thay need to Impeach Obama as soon as his Obamacare falls apart!!!!

    Would you say Obama has a big ego to compare himself to even two great Presidents—can’t say I would list LBJ as a great President but he was 20 times better then Obama! Obama has a bigger ego then all the people serving in Congress right now—then what does he mean by 5 years left—He doesn’t even have a year left—obviously the man never had a math class, but we all know he has an ego that never ends! Now saying he has seven months left in office—I would give him an atta boy as they is what he has left before being thrown out of the White House so he can return to the “hood” with his buds Ayers, Frakerkan, and all the other racists in the Chicago area!

    Really? Is there anyone who is running for president in their right mind? I really don’t believe so! To be honest I don’t trust any one of them and I have every reason to believe not to trust any! Just see the track record of every each one of them and it will tell you a lot! I cannot believe any of them are really for the American people! Has any of them even touched on how they would solve the economic debt crisis? Have they talked about our standard of living, our education or anything having to do with getting America onto the right track? What would you do and why? Where are the hard choices being made America?

    I can easily tell you what will happen if we don’t plug the hole in the ship! Our captain doesn‘t want to make those hard choices and the next person doesn’t have any clue! We have been down this road before and no one seems to acknowledge this nor really cares to do anything about it!

    With the rising cost of inflation, interest rates will have to go up sooner or later. Low interest rates mean more loans and you bet there will be defaults on those loans when interest rates go up because of inflation. (When your in debt, the last thing is you don’t want to go into more debt) Printing money only delays the recover and make our stock market look fake even more, including making our dollar value practically worthless by the time they are done! It’s time to steer the ship away from the rocks and plug the holes!

    Very revealing that Obama would identify with FDR and LBJ. He doesn’t belong in the same sentence with Lincoln, though. Substitute Lincoln with Wilson.

    The only comparison between Obama and any other President would be between him and Jimmy Carter. After living through the term of that man, Carter, and now Obama, I can honestly say Obama would win , hands down, as the worst president to date.
    Obama has done NOTHING for the good of this country.
    Obama………the first Muslim, socialist, antiConstitution,antAmerican President in our history.

    His tongue should burn when he talks about his own greatness.

Its time to retire Obama.. if he stays in as President we will have the greatest depression ever.. They are setting it up where we who are prepared won’t be able to even feed our neighbors!!     obama rates #1 as the first ILLEGAL potus the U.S. ever elected. He IS NOT a NATURAL BORN
    CITIZEN.
    IF obama sr. was his father…then obama was born with DUAL citizenship…not eligible under the U.S. Constitution. Natural born means being born to two parents who are U.S. citizens at the time of birth. Natural born is a result of birth….it can not be ‘given to you’ ….. such as ‘native born’ or ‘naturalized’.

    He and Jimmy Carter are in a back and forth for last position. Jimmy recently saved himself a little with advising Dems to back off on abortion rights (focus on reducing the need for abortion instead), so that dropped Obama down further.

      He is a far left IDEOLOGUE! He fraternizes with Radicals.
      President Dunham is more like our inept Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. They both like being in charge of EVERYTHING in the Universe! AND they believe they deserve it .

      I do not know how History will judge President Dunham and his administration.
      I do know History will not be kind to him,(if we have a History AFTER him).
