Romney Surrogate: Obama‘s ’Insane Administration’ Is Suffocating Business

Former New Hampshire governor and Romney surrogate John Sununu on Thursday accused President Obama’s “insane administration” of stymieing business growth.

“You‘ve got more cash in the private sector in business than you’ve ever had before,” Sununu told CNBC’s “Squawk Box,“ adding that the fear of increased taxes and regulations ”slows down the permitting process, and makes it a penalty of taxes every time they succeed.”

“Obama wins, investment goes offshore. Romney wins, the investment stays here,” the former governor said.

Business Insider’s Henry Blodget argued that the economy is in such poor shape because the middle class is “broke.” But the former governor maintains that an overbearing and regulatory Washington, D.C., has stunted economic growth.

“I talked to dozens of people who would like to be hiring right now, and because of Obamacare, the fear of regulation, and uncertainty about this election, they’re waiting,” Sununu said

“We‘ve got to take a recognition that what we’ve done to those three mainstays over the last four years has been part of the reason, if not the big part of the reason, why our recovery has gone nowhere,”  he added.

Sununu also touted Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s “smart” approach toward energy.

“Coal, oil and natural gas are the mainstay of American energy for the next generation,” Sununu said.

“We’ve had an administration that truly believes government is the solution,” he added. “You’ve got a candidate, Mitt Romney, and a vice presidential candidate, Paul Ryan, that understand the values that come from incentivizing people and businesses.”

    Obama’s whole approach is to violate the last three of the 10 Commandments:

    You shall not steel
    You shall not bear false witness
    You shall not covet

    The Democratic platform for that reason will crumble eventually since their sope includes:

    (Man’s relationship with no God)
    1) You shall destroy Israel and put God last on every issue.
    2) You shall worship gold, silver, and power only. And make evolution and the earth your god.
    3) You shall use the Lords name to promote social justice.
    4) You shall work on the Sabbath and especially the month of Christmas to write laws to enslave people.
    5) You shall educate the young to reject their parents.
    (Man’s relationship with his stupid neighbor)
    6) Planned parenthood.
    7) Honor your leaders that fornicate.
    8) Honor socialism and make steeling legal. Institute the IRS.
    9) Accuse conservatives of everything you do.
    10) Hate the “rich”.

    On what bizarro planet is that a smart approach as China now competes with t he US for more of the planet’s dwindling oil supplies?
    Even China is exploring newer technologies because THEY ARE SMART ENOUGH to see the future.

      If you were actually a voice of reason, you would understand that the US has over 60% of the worlds oil, natural gas and coal deposits. Yes, we need solar, wind, geothermal, hydrogen fusion and nuclear power for our future, but we MUST have PROVEN, ECONOMICALLY VIABLE energy sources TODAY. Get the environmental whackos out of the way and let America survive to face tomorrow.

    The truth is that Obama is an admitted user of illegal drugs.
    Those in the mental health care discipline understand the damage such use can do to a person mentally and physically. Obama‘s inability to speak without assistance and Obama’s lack of education and knowledge about economics and foreign and American history could very well be due to his admitted drug use. Further, more than once, Obama had no clue that there were only 50 states, and other basic facts that a child knows.
    The reason for Biden’s inability to speak intelligently is unknown at this time.

    My company (as in I own it) has nearly tripled in the last 4 years, both in number of employee’s (30 to 85) and in net profit. I know this isn’t the typical case but I know of fellow business owner who were aggressive in building and expanding their business and experienced significant growth while Obama has been in office. If some business owners decide that they are going to sit on their capital until some perfect world (according to you all, one with no regulations or taxes) pops into existence well then they are the losers.

      Wish it was so simple. Some fields like healthcare are going crazy mad but many fields that rely on, for instance, loans to maintain an adequate ROI are being crushed by the regulations on banks (Dodd-Franks if you really understand it) that are forced into smaller loan to value loans lest be taken over by the government and given to their crony capitalist buddies. I have a close personal friend whose job is to just do this. He does it daily. Makes the proposed projects not pencil, therefore no projects, therefore no jobs.
      Also, local and state and Fed fees have been raised substantially to keep government agencies solvent. Again cutting into the viability of work.

      Now go troll elsewhere.

    The BHO administration doesn’t understand incentives. They say redistribution, take from the successful and give to losers is “fair”, but can’t see that it is a disincentive to aspire and an incentive to be a slacker. The reallity is not the same as what they put down on a piece of paper. From BHO’s past statements, that is exactly what they want.

    So let’s see, who has the vast majority of their investments offshore? Who, in the name of maximizing profit, shut down American companies and shipped jobs overseas? Who doesn’t want to release more than one and half years of tax returns for fear of being exposed? Yeah, thought so. Seems that under the obama admin that two of his favorite (and financially favored) companies haaving been shipping all sorts of their assets to China. GM and GE ring a bell? That being said, it is not illegal, but I agree that it would do us better to keep them in country. As for investments overseas, just how is that wrong?
      How much money do Soros, Buffett, and many other lefties have invested overseas. What about John Kerry’s actual bank accounts on foreign soil? I still say there is nothing wrong with it. You are simply being hypocritical.

      Since I know the stats on who is watching Fox (hint..#1 nationally) I will take a guess at how your “truth” works.

      Of those voters who don’t watch Fox, 92% are so clueless that they don’t believe the obvious and choose to call it propaganda while listening to and believing what is actually propaganda.

      Cure – watch Fox, avoid MSN.

    why is middle class broke…hign taxes and high gas prices…Why is the government broke?…Because they spend your taxes like drunken sailors, getting the needy hooked on social programs which leads to corruption of the system on both sides of the street.
    Obamacare is already a failure..you want proof… look at Medicare, ask yourself one question is it fully funded?..correct it is not. 43% of it is borrowed monies..so how is adding the rest of the country to a system going to work at all..You can’t possibly tax the crap out of the “Rich” enough, there is not enough taxed money to pay for any of it…oh but you don’t want it repealled..well cry babies your gonna just have to get over yourself then. Vote your congressman out! If he‘s been there more than 2 terms he’s been there too long.
