Romney Team Diverts Campaign Bus in Pennsylvania to Avoid Democrat Protesters

QUAKERTOWN, Pa. (AP) — Mitt Romney has changed the route of his campaign bus tour through Pennsylvania after Democrats planned to show up and challenge him at one stop.

Romney intended to visit a gas station and convenience store in Quakertown, which is about 50 miles northwest of Philadelphia.

Romney’s team had set up a microphone for him to speak at the Wawa story. But they caught wind that former Democratic Gov. Ed Rendell would be at the site to hold a competing event.

Romney’s motorcade, including his bus, decided to stop at a different Wawa in Quakertown. Inside the second store, Romney told reporters that Rendell’s planned appearance sparked the schedule change.

Forgot to mention that the crime rate is almost as high as D.C. and who do you think is the controlling political party in both places? What groups of people are the crims? Not to mention the high amounts of followers of the peaceful religion that are busy with prayer rugs to the east and on breaks try to figure out how to overthrow this country and it’s laws with their own.
    Welcom to Pennsylvania.

Tuesday I drove from south of DC to Philly, around Baltimore. All kinds of road closures and traffic jams were around Baltimore because the President gave a speech there. The news on the radio, not talk radio, just “normal” news, was reporting it. Then he went to Philly. And everyone that was driving there was upset about how he disrupted traffic so bad. The Thunderbirds had their performance at the graduation of the Air Force Academy interrupted so he could leave and go to a campaign speech. And his trip to Disney disrupted the staff there because he refused to use the back entrances like previous presidents and insisted on shutting down portions of the park. How many of these people who are put out by his arrogance are on the fence and which way will this push them?

Now the state is broke with very high unemployment. The Dems. in that state are just plain stupid.

Means, This is what I mean about all of you just going along with what Faux News says, Ron Paul is not out of the race, Romney does not have the nomination clinched, as long as there is more than one candidate in the race, the nominee is not known until after the first round of votes. With the lawsuit filed Monday by Lawyers for Ron Paul, we just may see the delegates be unbound on the first round. I am not sure what the exact numbers of Paul supporters are that will be delegates there, but I know that it is close to 50/50 right now. It will be interesting. The other part of the lawsuit may infact show that federal crimes were perpetrated by the RNC along with election/voter fraud. Does this not concern anyone? Are you all saying that it is OK for election fraud if it is the RNC doing it? Where do you stand on this if it is proven? Part of the desperate Dems m.o. Let’s see–almost a month ago Gov. Romney announced an address on the economy in Cincinnati last Monday. The Friday before, the Obama campaign announces that he will give a 20 min. “major” address on the economy in Columbus due to start 10 mins. prior to Romney’s. Romney, without a teleprompter, gave his address which started and ended on time actually prior to Obama taking the stage since he was running an hour late. The 20 minute speech stretched on for 57 minutes with the TOTUS in play. It was, however, the greenest speech that Obama has ever given as the RNC ad shows, everything in it was recycled.
Now, I know I have seen this from the Dems before. Aha, back in the 2010 the soft-spoken Rep Debbie Wasserman Schultz held a campaign rally in front of the campaign headquarters of then candidate Col Allen West. The only problem being that Col West‘s campaign headquarters were in his district which is completely different from Rep Wasserman Schultz’s.

Our movement is beyond any one person, although we will not give up on Ron Paul at this point, and the fact that we will not vote for Romney, our ideas will continue. We have taken over many parts of the GOP all over the country and we will continue into the future. Romney is not the nominee, as of yet, and the lawsuit filed last Monday, may just throw that monkey wrench into the machine. How many Paul supporters do YOU think there will be in Tampa as delegates? Do not listen to the media, as they still tell you Romney has the required delegates. Go here to read the complaint filed: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B42o0yg7D7tcMHhweFllclkxT0U/edit?pli=1

It also accuses the RNC of violating federal law. The votes across the country may be counted again, who knows? I will never give up, I will never surrender, I will write Ron Pauls name in, no matter what. If Ron Paul loses, I will continue to fight for common sense, Liberty minded candidates to Congress, and I will look to a Liberty candidate in four years for POTUS, since Obama will not be able to run again.

When Ron Paul finished second in a contest after all the other candidates had dropped out.

A Paul acolyte was overheard stating….

“It Paul can sustain those kinds of numbers … and if his message continues to resonate … and if Mitt Romney gets hit by a Ron Paul campaign bus… he could still win this thing.”

seriously mutiny, romney circling them and honking is highly amusing, good old fashion ribbing. but i think most rational folks would stay away from astro-turfed, democrat protesters cuz they can never bring anything to the conversation. what are they protesting anyway, the fact that romney is a republican? geesh, even clinton is practically campaigning for the guy.

@ Individualism Really? Kind of remember some SEIU dudes beating on an old man back awhile. Also a creepy cop in Wisconsin arresting a pro-Walker veteran for nothing but exercising his right of free speech. The trouble with you folks is you don’t like it when the tables are turned. Well, get used to it…the silent majority ain’t silent no more.

Romney displays excellent tactics and agility. He adjusts his route so he can stay focused on the theme of his campaign without distracting side battles. At the same time his agility causes Rendell to waste resources and look foolish for not being able to engage Romney. Well done Mitt!

It’s a shame he did this. Now that the anti-American thugs in the demoncrap party know that they can force Romney to go elsewhere, they’ll be at every planned stop. You have to stand up to the insane lefties, they’re like animals (no offense to the intelligence of animals), show any weakness and they’ll be all over it. Behaving like this won’t save the country from the evil demoncraps. We need strength, because we can’t afford 4 more years of der Fuhrer Oblameya.
