Ron Paul Releases Another Pro-Life Ad

In the crunch time leading up to the January 3 GOP Iowa caucus, Republicans competing in the state are making their last-minute ad buys in the key early primary. Because of his outspoken libertarian views, many Pro-Life voters have been hesitant in backing Texas Rep. Ron Paul, despite his claim of being Pro-Life. Rep. Paul, who had delivered more than 4,000 babies as an obstetrician and gynecologist before entering politics, had focused on his defense of the sanctity of life in the run-up to his strong finish in the Ames Iowa straw poll. A new ad released Wednesday by the Paul campaign centers on the congressman’s pro-life stance and previous career:
According to Real Clear Politics, Rep. Paul currently leads polls of likely Iowa GOP caucus-goers, three points ahead of Mitt Romney. Rep. Paul is polling third nationally, with a substantial gap between himself and frontrunners Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich.

If ALL of humanity is not represented in the decision of whether or not to use nuclear weapons, then an injustice has occurred, because nuclear weapons, and the decision to use them, EFFECTS all.
Nuclear weapons have murdered the ideology of nationalism by rendering it obsolete. Many on the Left and Right want to resurrect its corpse, and they still think politically in its terms–but so long as they do so, the solutions to the problems which vex them shall remain outside their ability to grasp, and they pursue a fool’s errand.

Posted on December 21, 2011 at 6:59pmThe constitution does not give the Federal Government the authorization to legislate abortions. Thus the 10th amendment applies, leaving the decision of whether or not abortion is legal to the states. He adheres to the constitution before he adheres to his PERSONAL belief, just as a President should. You are free to lead a national campaign to convince voters of all 50 states to vote to have abortion criminalized, but to try to go through the federal government while shredding the constitution is not the way to do it. Be consistent, like he is. Either you cherish the constitution as it is written, to limit the federal government, or you don’t. Posted on December 21, 2011 at 7:21pmSome of you just have a hard time understanding the concept of freedom and individual liberty. When the federal government is limited and the states have the power to make the laws, by the permission of its citizens, it is called freedom. If you do not like the laws of one state, you do not have to live there you can move to another that has laws more to your liking or if the majority of citizens in the state do not agree with the law, they can change it. If the federal government makes the laws, it is the same in every state, so where can you move then if you do not agree with the law? This is tyranny. It is much harder to change laws at the federal level than the state level. Why is this concept so hard for so many on The Blaze?

Posted on December 21, 2011 at 6:16pmNeocon: originated in the 1960s among conservatives and some liberals who were repelled by or disillusioned with what they viewed as the political and cultural trends of the time, including leftist political radicalism, lack of respect for authority and tradition, and hedonistic and immoral lifestyles. Neoconservatives generally advocate a free-market economy with minimum taxation and government economic regulation; strict limits on government-provided social-welfare programs; and a strong military supported by large defense budgets. Neoconservatives also believe that government policy should respect the importance of traditional institutions such as religion and the family. Unlike most conservatives of earlier generations, neoconservatives maintain that the United States should take an active role in world affairs, though they are generally suspicious of international institutions, such as the United Nations and the World Court, whose authority could intrude upon American sovereignty or limit the country’s freedom to act in its own interests.

Wrong. When the Founding Fathers wrote the constitution, it was written shortly after they themselves served and fought for the independence of America. The wars were fought in their backyards, amongst their neighbors. The introduction of missiles does nothing to what the constitution requires. Stop the illegal wars. Stop the destruction of our constitution. Bring our men and women home! If missiles are a problem, then build missile defense systems. Simple as that.

1) Calling the Wikileaks spy a patriot.
2) Demonizing Israel for the blockade, which was set up with Egypt to protect their people.
3) The fact that he is a truther.

Paul was talking about not trusting government investigations and a government cover up, but it was not about a belief that the government did 9/11, but the government not wanting the FBI to have something embarrasing come out. He says the FBI had intel about some of the terrorists from 9/11 wanting to learn to fly but not caring about learning how to land. This should have brought up red flags to the FBI and they may have been able to stop the attacks. Progressives just want to throw this stuff out there to distract you.
