Road to REVOLution video game. (Image: Daniel Williams/Kickstarter)
It’s Super Mario Brothers and Sonic the Hedgehog meets libertarian fantasy. Ron Paul the video game is where all your desires to see the man win the presidency and end the Federal Reserve are now in your control.
Created by Ron Paul supporter and programmer Daniel Williams, the “Road to REVOLution” is his ”gift to the liberty-loving community.” When complete, the game will allow you to take on the role of Ron where you’ll go through all 50 levels (representative of the 50 states) to win delegates and collect gold coins along the way, which will unlock keys to the Federal Reserve where you will battle in 13 “Boss Fights.”

(Image: Daniel Williams/Kickstarter)
Here Williams explains the project:
“If there’s a game about Ron, it’s gotta be awesome,” Williams said.
Williams used the Kickstarter fundraising site — a site where start-ups petition the community for donations where they are given a deadline to meet a goal amount of funding — to get his work going. He has 11 days left on his deadline and has already exceeded his $5,000 goal with more than $7,000 from 116 backers.

Currently built in HTML5, Williams said he also hopes to create an app version as well. He said he plans on the game being free of charge, although the app versions may come at a cost. Williams hopes to have a beta version ready mid-June and a final product complete in July.
In addition to spreading his Ron Paul support in an animated, action-adventure context, Williams wrote on the Kickstarter site that he also hopes his efforts will “perpetuate the spirit of Indie Games” as he says there is “so much red tape that game developers face in the world of gaming today.”

Posted on April 20, 2012 at 10:18amUnfortunately, here in SC we don’t have the option of writing in a candidate on the Presidential ballot. If we did, this agnostic Constitutionalist, would! I’ve studied Ron Paul and his beliefs for a period of time, well before the last election, and if people actually bothered to read what he stands for and his policies, they would see that he doesn’t promote isolationism, but instead calls for suspension of wasteful military expenditures in foreign countries who don’t want or need or assistance. I’m not a fanatical Paulie, as the Obamites and the Rino Romney supporters want to label me, but I am a pragmatist who views Paul as the only honest Constitution believer in the current race.
I do believe that the outcome of this election as has been determined by the liberal media and what is even more scary to me was George Soros’ declaration that he could “live with Romney in the White House”!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted on April 19, 2012 at 10:57pmThe real Ron Paul game is far better, has graphics and says so in the game too. It says militant Libertarians out to unite the world ( it is a game after all) and has near 3d city building that blows anything on the net away. seriously. Search for City Federation on facebook it is free and in beta. Will blow you away with the city building , this is not a cartoon game. There is a video on youtube not sure if I can post link here or not. Game has lots of libertarian politics and tells how Obama really screws over the nation, lets revolutions happen all over etc. I will post link in next message.

Posted on April 19, 2012 at 10:13pmLook, all you fake a** Conservatives can sit here and bash Paul all you want. But the bottom line is no Ron Paul supporter will vote for your establishment candidate! I know I speak for every Ron Paul supporter when I say if he is not on the ballot, we will write him in! So it looks like the decision is in your hands. Either you vote for Paul, make him the nominee and get rid of Obama or witness a massive Ron Paul write-in and watch Mittens lose. Romney is a loser against Obama. Your only hope of winning is with Paul. And honestly, if Ron Paul is not the nominee we deserve another four years of Obama, because we havn’t learned you lesson yet!
P.s. All you ignorant fools who criticize his foreign policy ask youself these questions. Why are all the soldier’s (who I supposedly support) supporting Ron Paul? Why does Ron Paul get more donations from active duty military members than all other candidates, including Obama, combined? Why are the top three donors to Ron Paul’s campaign the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force?
Wake Up! It is YOUR foreign policy that is batshit crazy!

Posted on April 19, 2012 at 10:23pmThis election process is so crooked and corrupt it just shows how morally bankrupt our nation is and how easy it will be to steal the remaining freedom from the American people. They have been declaring Mitt the flip flop RINO the winner since day one. The corrupt media has been all in it. They started with a media blackout of Ron Paul, then they ran smear pieces, now they are on to another blackout campaign. What people don’t know behind the scenes is Dr. Paul is picking up lots of delegates and the race is far from over, there are still lots of States left. It is even a fact that there has been multiple instances of voter fraud from the GOP in many states to steal delegates and primary elections for Obama light Romney. It is disgusting how far people are willing to compromise their freedom and liberty because another fake conservative gets up, tells a few lies that the people want to hear but when he is elected will do nothing. This is going to be Romney. I don’t care what others say, I am not compromising my vote and will vote for Ron Paul, the only candidate willing to fight for our freedom, liberty, and fiscal sanity. The Race isn’t even over yet! But you wouldn’t know it from the corrupt media talking heads who have from the beginning declared their pre paid for pre chosen candidate the winner.

When Santorum dropped out all the spoon fed political ignorants just assumed that they would have to vote for Romney, who will loose to Obama. I try telling them that Paul is still competitive and they are like you really think he is going to win? Like that’s crazy. What the media and establishment have done to this man even as he still draws 1,000′s of people to his rallies with no mention in the media is despicable. 9000 people in California a couple of weeks ago. Romney was drawing just a couple of hundred. It’s like they all got the call just like the Birth Certificate to quit reporting it. But he hangs in there because yes it is a movement. Yes we are taking over local Republican Party leadership spots, and yes we will continue to take more over one at a time but most of us will not vote for their liberal socialist candidate. The Ron Paul Liberty movement is the only political movement that is real and the establishment knows this and thats why they coopted the Tea Party early on to distract people from his message. The Occupy movement was another rip off from the Liberty movement and they have been coopted as well. Anonymous even stole from the Liberty movement. Fact is that most people are sheep and easily manipulated or distracted. Watch this, and see how all of your info heroes are nothing but liars…

Posted on April 19, 2012 at 11:25pmLet’s get real:
James Madison said, “The power to declare war, including the power of judging the causes of war, is fully and exclusively vested in the legislature… the executive has no right, in any case, to decide the question, whether there is or is not cause for declaring war.”
On June 1, 1812, President James Madison sent a message to the Congress recounting American grievances against Great Britain, though not specifically calling for a declaration of war. After Madison’s message, the House of Representatives deliberated for four days behind closed doors before voting (79 to 49) the first declaration of war, and the Senate agreed by 19 to 13. The conflict began formally on June 18, 1812, when Madison signed the measure into law. This was the first time that the United States had declared war on another nation, and the Congressional vote would prove to be the closest vote to declare war in American history.”
Paul said, “I’d ask for a Declaration of War, and then it would be all out.” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ATmUE8TCmjE
We’re the greatest military in the world. There is no need to empower liberals or RINO’s in congress with unprecedented powers to go after our enemies. I have faith in our God, who shall protect us from all evil. God will not abandon us if we don’t abandon him.

We have no business meddling in the middle east. In truth England created the disasters there with it’s Kingdom, let England meddle without dragging the US in to it.
For the defense of the nation, we must repair our economy, or we will never be a superpower and will never be safe again.
So far I vote no confidence on Romney. He better shore up the tea party people in the Republican party or he will find he wins the independent voters and loses the election.

The media on the right tries to act like we dont exist and the only supporters of Ron Paul are drug addicts wanting to legalize drugs or anti American anti war people.
I will vote for Ron Paul this November for many reasons.
1. The only candidate to cut current spending levels is Ron Paul. Romney and Obama both increase spending and their cuts are only to future increases. We are in a dire situation. We need dire action.
2. We have 900 bases in 130 countries. That is absurd. We need to protect our borders and we need some strategic fueling and air bases. Outside of that we are just nation building. Japan, S. Korea, Germany, Australia, and many others dont need our tax dollars. Let them defend themselves. If they need help, then we can come. Obama and Romney both will continue the same backwards foreign policy that has broken our country.
3. The FED is killing us. Ground beef is 3 dollars a pound now. Ten years ago it was 1 dollar a pound. Gas, toilet paper, canned goods, fast food, milk and eggs are all a lot higher. Romney and Obama will do nothing to the FED.
The GOP establishment after losing this election will blame the candidate like they did McCain. No its wasnt McCains fault. McCain was being McCain. It was the right wing media and the establishment who picked him was the problem.

Posted on April 19, 2012 at 3:29pm@qpwillie, You can take your “If you vote for C then you are really supporting A” excuse and shove it. It is completely on the Republican Party for not providing a decent candidate and/or for pushing the Ron Paul supporters out the door if they lose. You can’t kick someone in the nuts and then expect them to stop and help you with a flat tire. That’s some Thomas Pain common sense for you, right there. To me it sounds like you already lost and are just starting the excuses early.

Please show me an actual example of Ron Paul trying to use legislation or other congressional power to support your so-called “anti-Semitic“ and ”racial” accusations. If he really is the person you believed him to be with as long as he has been in congress there HAS to be SOMETHING, some proof. Not this BS about a few sentences out of the tens of thousands posted under a newsletter that had 8 ghost writters or the fact that he won’t give money back to racists that donated to him. Posted on April 20, 2012 at 12:03amLibertarianism in the United States is right-leaning, unlike in other countries. “Libertarians support maximum liberty in both personal and economic matters. They advocate a much smaller government; one that is limited to protecting individuals from coercion and violence. Libertarians tend to embrace individual responsibility, oppose government bureaucracy and taxes, promote private charity, tolerate diverse lifestyles, support the free market, and defend civil liberties.” These stated goals and principles are incompatible with Liberalism. Modern Liberalism has adopted social progressivism, dismissing private rights for collective rights, and supports social justice and a mixed economy (Keynesian). Many Liberals today also advocate for socialist or communistic policies contrary to capitalism. American Conservatism was revived with Goldwater’s libertarian-oriented book, The Conscience of a Conservative, which challenged the progressive Government at that time. Its influence helped to lay the foundation for the Reagan Revolution. Reagan stated, “I believe the very heart and soul of conservatism is libertarianism”. As a Conservative, I approach libertarianism philosophically, not politically. It is Conservative ideals which I believe are best able to guide a citizenry to an accountable Representative Government.
