      Sergio, do also call people who don’t believe in Santa Claus Santa haters? You’re very confused. The carrot and stick approach most religions use to intimidate people into “belief” is utter nonsense. Reward and punishment on a universal scale? How can any thinking reasoning adult believe such hogwash?

      “I’ll pray for you.” What a snotty little phrase.

      @Beckisnuts
      First of all, Sergio wasnt demanding you believe like he does, and none of the things you quoted in your comment were mentioned at all by him – ie. “I’ll pray for you“ or anything about ”universal reward or punishment.” He was merely talking about some of his own believes, as unique as his way of expressing it may be. I liked his sincerity. Now, there might be some wild-eyed people of faith – like noroomforsocialismhere, but there are those people everywhere – I’m sure you can find plenty of atheists that are just as unstable.

      and @Foxhole, Fuego wasnt trying to convince you of his beliefs either. He was merely trying to point out that BeckisNuts was trying to start a fight and here you come from behind trying to start a fight again. Nothing you said even makes sense when you read his comment. He wasnt trying to do any convincing. Besides, the burden of proof lies just as much with you as it does with him. Good luck.

      I believe I could refer to myself as a highly educated scientist with a very large stack of science books and I believe in God.

Any condemnation of the Islamists? Of course not, but a hell of a lot of attacking the pope for speaking up, and calling the killing of Muslims by our (Christian) soldiers “blowback” well deserved. Great. IT is written “For whosoever shall be ashamed of me,and of my words,of him shall the Son of man be ashamed when he shall come in his own glory,and in his Fathers , and of the holy angels.” The heathen will rage. the unbelievers will complain about separation of church and state.Those who Hate our past will insist it is a shame but they will all be confounded.My only comment is this ought not be news in America that a man can be who he is without shame or fear of retribution -for we were established to be a Christian nation -and by that standard we have are and will be judged.
