Comedienne and Green Party presidential candidate Roseanne Barr is not known for her grace or her tact– she called for the rich to be beheaded last October on Russia Today, and said women should not come to S.E. Cupp’s defense after Hustler a fake explicit photo of her in their magazine– but today, she is leveling her barrels at an unexpected target, Nancy Pelosi.

A prolific tweeter, Barr alluded to Pelosi‘s 2008 investment in Visa’s Initial Public Offering, saying: “Pelosi is a criminal too-insider trader with VISA-she needs to go-vote her out!!”

She continued to say, “Pelosi is a reptile -watch their eyes“ and ”reptile like criminals in control of our government.”

Presumably she meant “reptile-like criminals” in her last statement, implying that our politicians are reptilian crooks.

Rather than back down from her tweets, Barr seems to be standing by them.  She re-tweeted several similarly controversial statements like, “That’s a real low blow.  To lizards,“ and ”Our government isn’t as smart as reptiles but they do all [slither] on their bellies in sewage.”

However, this isn’t the first time Barr has called out Pelosi.  After calling Sarah Palin a sociopath and saying there is ethnic cleansing in America (“by people who are running for vice president”), the comedienne said she would slap Nancy Pelosi in the face if she ever saw her.

      Yeah DETROIT PAPERBOY, the left “eating ” its own, but this time for the right reason!
      Not because Pelosi is not liberal enough, but because she’s corrupt!

      Did I read that right? Can hardly believe it.

      @sara72…Exactly what I thought when I read the headline. If I’m in agreement with Roseanne Barr, The Four Horsemen can’t get here fast enough! I think some of the things I’ve been raking out of my yard and putting through the chipper, might actually be pieces of the sky.

      I’m speechless!! Never thought i’d read a piece of crap by Rossie but on Peelosi i had to. Peeloosely has been a snake from Cali’ even before she ran, and should have been gone from the beginning, but leave it to Cal’ voters to bring another Fruit and Nut to DC.Sadly i post……….

      I always include Barr from everything along with, Whoppie, Clooney, and strisand. May have to rethink that situation. When ever they were in a movie or tv I went elsewhere.

    I think Barr was not using a euphemism, I think she meant Pelosi is an actual reptile. There is a conspiracy theory that all-most of the world leaders are shape-shifting reptile-aliens. So, Barr is proving herself crazier by the day.

    However, I do agree with her on one aspect. Pelosi needs to be voted out of office (along with most people with a D or R beside their name, but that is neither here nor there).

    Ugh…I agreed with Roseanne Barr about something. I need a bath…
