She’s said some crazy things in the past, so I guess her most recent comments in the wake of Elizabeth Edwards‘ death shouldn’t come as much of a surprise.
Still, it’s hard to imagine how — in light of her lying, cheating spouse, his secret love-child and Elizabeth’s terminal cancer diagnosis — Rosie can claim that it’s John who was really the victim here:

But if he spends even a minute after the funeral is over, thinking about Elizabeth that is not triggered by his own children’s comments or needs, I’ll eat my hat.
Another terminal narcissist. When you’re that self absorbed, you cannot feel empathy for others. That is how he could go boink that chick and have an affair in the first place while his wife was dealing with cancer. Poor John had needs that needed to be met, eh. Hate to say it but dead or alive, he was concerned with himself, not her.
It‘s not the ’for better‘ in marriage that shows a person’s character, it‘s easy when it’s easy. It‘s the ’for worse’ that will kick your butt and show you what a person is made of. Well unfortunately for John, the whole world now knows what he’s made of.
And Rosie O is just your plain partisan idiot.
