WASHINGTON (AP) — Republican political strategist Karl Rove says President Barack Obama and fellow Democrats have gone “beyond the pale” for suggesting that the U.S. Chamber of Commerce may be using foreign contributions to finance advertising against Democratic congressional candidates.
In a speech last week, Obama said groups receiving foreign funds are spending money to influence American elections.
Rove says Democrats have no evidence that the chamber is violating the law by using foreign funds to pay for its campaign activities. The chamber doesn’t disclose its donors, and Rove said the chamber doesn’t use foreign funds for U.S. politics.
Rove said on “Fox News Sunday” that the charges are baseless and added, “How dare the president do this.”

Remember how vehemently they accused George W Bush of “stealing” the 2000 election. That’s because they could not believe their own efforts to steal the election had failed!… so he must have stolen it from them.
Just check out every time a lib accuses a conservative of mischief, look at the accuser, and you will see a perpetrator of the same mischief!
It appears to be one of their main tactics of distraction.

Bill‘s reaction was let’s not play politics with this information. Even the New York Times called for and independent inquiry and were stonewalled by the Attorney General Janet Reno.

@contrarian — Obama’s direct contributions are available to the public, as per law. The issue here is that the SCOTUS ruled that third-party organizations don’t need to reveal their donors. So the US CoC doesn’t have to tell who gave what money. I‘m sure it’s all on the up-and-up and they hae nothing to hide, so they will open thier books to outside auditors, right?
