Rove Responds to Critics Over O’Donnell War

Karl Rove: “I think the questions about why she had a problem for five years with paying her federal income taxes, why her house was foreclosed on and put up for a sheriff’s sale, why it took 16 yers for her to settle her college debt and get her diploma after she went around for years claiming she was a college graduate — these and other troubling sort of personal background things, she thinks she has explained them. I think she’s got to — I think a lot of voters in Delaware are going to want more than she’s offering to them right now.”

Sounds to me like a normal American, Has anyone in this Elite circle ever had to really work for a living and found that sometimes mony problems arise. Thanks to these clowns in washington I have seen many problems, How about a condo that went from115k value to 35k in value in just 2 years. Thanks Karl and GW and all the rest of you crooks.

you can thank barney frank and chris dodd for the housing crash. it was jimmy carter who started the slow death of our housing industry. him and acorn. acorn was threatening banks to loan to deadbeats who didnt even have to prove they had a job to buy a home. bush did try to rein in fanny and freddy but frank stopped him. its the dems who destroyed this econemy then all you koolaid drinkers voted in the userper in theif and spending hit a new high. its up to us to make sure they all go to jail for this. no one gave obama the rights to circumvent the courts and hand over the auto industry to the unions. laws mean nothing to obama. as you all can see, watch him try and pull something to stop this election. be ready people be ready to stand and fight. but lets do what we always do, go on offence not defence. we take them an ass whipping their momma should of given them years ago. we are americans remember. we take it to them they dont bring it to us. but let them start it, then we finish it!

Ron its nice to see that someone knows what really happened to cause the mess. There were also a few RINO’s involved w/ that as well. I used to be a fan of Bush but his expansion of government after 9/11 and the final nail in the coffin for me was this one quote. “I had to abandon freemarket principles in order to save the free market.” The politicians in DC caused this problem w/ the housing industry but as usual they attack the institutions damaged by thier own igorance. Tarp was and is a joke, they should have let the “too big to fail” crowd fail. Yes it would have been bad and it would have hurt alot but we more than likely would not be in the mess we are in now.

Hey, Karl! Put the shovel down! How about focusing on her Democratic opponent, Chris Coons, who wrote an article for his college newspaper titled “Chris Coons: The Making of a Bearded Marxist”? Mr. Coons would fit right in with the blame America Obama-Reid-Pelosi crowd. An [Amherst College] course on cultural anthropology, noted Coons, had “undermined the accepted value of progress and the cultural superiority of the West,” while a class on the Vietnam War led him to “suspect…that the ideal of America as a ‘beacon of freedom and justice, providing hope for the world’ was not exactly based in reality.” Source: http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0510/36726.html

Any person running for office should be subject to a review of their qualifications, education, integrity, etc. Unfortunately the press doesn’t do this for the Dems, our President being the perfect case in point. If there are questions about any of these things, O’Donnell just needs to answer them forthrightly so we can all move on. We “Tea Party / Beckheads” will not be able to do anything for anybody in this country if we have candidates who cannot unseat / defeat their Democrat opponents. It’s about getting the DEMS the hell out, and we need to have a unified strategy for doing so.

Now they come out and say she is just too dirty to vote for. Go figure! She then beat their Dinosaur who was suppose to be the unbeatable one – figure that one out. Now we have some of the Washington Republicans, Carl Rove and the Weekly Standard guys included, are still sliming her. Here they are out there campaigning for the Democrats as hard as they can! They want her to lose so they can say, “we told you so” – aren’t we great! What a bunch of babies – “wanting to take their ball and going home.” Now the Democrats are using these comments by these airheads to slime her. Way to go Carl – idiot!

Karl Rove doesn’t “get” it. I hope he has an open enough mind to realize that his attitudes have become part of the problem instead of part of the solution. He has now firmly identified himself with the old guard in Washington, protective of their elite status in Washington, rather than protective of the American people. Let’s not forget, the old guard, regardless of party, are the ones who voted to give hundreds of billions of dollars to banks, and what do we have to show for it? What a rip off and scam that was.

In this economy, O‘Donnell’s financial issues merely mean that she might be one of the few people in Washington who can really understand the destruction unleashed on the American middle class by the economic problems and high unemployment of the last several years.

By the way, who will be the first politician to stand up and ask for truth in the unemployment statistics? Right now the official rate doesn’t even count people whose benefits have expired, people who have given up trying to find an “above-ground economy” job, and recent college graduates that are looking for a job but have not found one, not to mention people who are ‘underemployed’. I wonder who will have the cojones to bring some truth to Washington? I’m tired of being lied to.

Carl Rove and Senator Graham (R, SC) believe that the “Tea Party Movement” is unsustainable. Perhaps, that is just wishful thinking on their part.

The fact is that it is that either the “Tea Party Movement” or Carl Rove and Senator Graham will go the way of the Dodo bird.

RINOS cannot survive in a nation of citizens that understand that FREEDOM RESULTS IN PROSPERITY AND THAT TYRANNY IS THE ROOT OF POVERTY AND DESPAIR. Mr. Rove’s proves that he understands his peril. RINOS like Mr Rove and Senator Graham are more of a danger to the American Revolution than the admitted tyrants like Obama.

I can’t begin to tell you how far the price of his stock has dropped for me. I used to admire him and now he’s just another elitist hack.

Agree completely – Rove, understand this – YOU don’t decide who wins – WE DO! You are part of the problem.

Karl Rove…. YOU WERE WRONG! She Won!!!

Now go tell the RNC that the old way of looking at races will not work any longer. The RNC MUST move right and in line with the views of the Tea Party! No more pretend Republicans! Change Is Coming!

I wouldn’t be too hard on Rove – I figure the Repubs are just bringing out the dirty laundry in their way to air it before the libs/progressives do it themselves. This way, the big story is the fracture in the Republican party instead of allowing the MSM to make oversized hay about any “transgressions”. If I were driving this politically on O‘Connel’s side, that‘s exactly what I’d do.

Rove is a inside the beltway thinker, and the people are getting sick and tired of this kind of politics,
where were the rep. party when all of Obama’s baggage came to light? all you could hear was crickets.
And now we are stuck with a man that wants to distroy this great country, the republican party needs to wake up and listen to the people who elected them instead instead og kissing the ring of the statis quo, Rove has lost a lot of credibility with me.
