As the United States relinquished most of its authority over the Libyan “no-fly” zone Thursday, Karl Rove, former special advisor to President George W. Bush, slammed the current administration for its handling of the continuing fight against Moammar Gadhafi.
In particular, Rove slammed President Barack Obama for being “incoherent” and “inconsistent” in setting forth a clear role for America in the crisis.
“If we aren’t at war, what are we?” Fox News host Neil Cavuto asked Rove:

Report Post »Why are many conservatives against the Libyan war? How about this answer: BECAUSE IT IS NONE OF OUR BUSINESS. Only when our national interests are in jeopardy do we attack. Civil restructuring is not an option unless we intend to make Libya the 51st state (0r the 59th, according to Obama). Not to purposefully be tiresome, but “if one does the same things over and over again, and expects a different result, this is classic INSANITY. American policy for the past 40 years has been a series of “making the same mistake” over and over again. And anyone who believes that there is a dimes worth of difference between the current republican party and the current democratic party needs to seek immediate mental health help (Scott Brown, U.S. Senator from Massachusetts, example). This country is finished as a Republic unless Obama is removed from office NOW. There will be no elections in 2012. We will have our first CORONATION. Unless the “handwriting on the wall is deciphered” soon, socialism will be our future, and the “sheep” will bleat and moan about what could have been, had they had Courage instead of faith and hope.

Posted on March 25, 2011 at 7:38amWeak Leader…. I prefer just weak! Obama is not a leader.
Report Post »A few thoughts:
Mr Anti-war, Nobel Peace Prize winner for world’s greatest Peace Potential, sends US Troops into combat with UN NOT US Approval! No approval required from the US Legislative Branch for Mr Obama. At least some of the Liberal pundits aren’t giving him a free pass on this.
The UN approved a “No Fly Zone”. So why are we bombing military assets on the ground that are not Air Defense related? I’ve heard in numerous news stories that the coalition is targeting Kaddafi’s ground forces.
Who are these rebels we are supporting? Al Qaida? No one can answer that question. I sincerely believe we are paving the way for another Islamic Fundamentalist government that of Iran’s. Multiple news stories have said, “The Rebels are leaving the mosque ….” And if you look at the clips and photos, you routinely see green flags or scarves. These flags and scarves are symbolic for Muslims, not for folks who want a free democratic society.
If some group in the US took up arms against the US Federal Government and attempted to overthrow it, are they still civilians? Does the US Federal Government have a legitimate authority to protect itself? Would we expect foreign nations to support the rebels? Just thinking…

Posted on March 25, 2011 at 6:57amYour words are true. Perhaps it is the Faith that confuses truth.
It requires faith to rule a kingdom. There are but two options. As normal in history, central kingdoms that have a baseline wherein masses are of little intelligence to participate. The paltry – smaller than a war horse, but agile-flexible attitude of independence –and lessor of historical proportion is that an Individual may and must Rule Himself.
Virtually everyone has the Choice that requires faith in rule.

After Beck’s program, I believe Obama never had any intentions of going all the way. I believe he purposely strung the Libya situation out til he got word to make a move. It took him almost 3 weeks to make a decision on what to do.
And like Beck said in his piece, Obama was quick to tell the people of Egpyt to rise up. But when our sworn enemy Iran was faced with the same thing, he sat on his hands. What kind of leader of the Free World would sit on his hands, when the people of Iran are rioting in the streets? Why not support their demands for freedom as well?
The question begs, is Obama with us, or against us? And for those of us that are religious, that same question was posed for the Anti-Christ, is it not?

Posted on March 25, 2011 at 1:15amHow can you be a STRONG military leader when you spent your whole life protesting against them and never served a day in your life. A military worth its salt does not follow an indecisive leader like we have in Obama. If this was Rome in the 1st Century they would have said fly the zone your self we ain’t fighting for you and let him hang in the wind when an invading Army came in and let them kill him. This happened many times in History.
But we have a dedicated military and only Congress can change the Constitution with a 2/3rds vote of the state legislatures. They should stipulate that if the President has no military service then the Military has to come to Congress for permission to engage in action outside the Constitutional Authority given to the Military. I the Chief of Staff had any backbone they would have either stood up to the President or resigned in protest of this Action.

Posted on March 25, 2011 at 1:14amI also thought it was hilarious that Obama cut his South America trip short – only after public opinion went against him. … and how about the Obama Admin. giving Brazil permits to drill in our Gulf of Mexico, but NOT American companies, and him weakly saying that it will create American jobs (but not American wealth – can’t have that in the Obama Admin. because it goes against his Socialist/Marxist core beliefs) … Obama is a bad joke, and a stupid joke at that.
Obama doesn’t have any leadership abilities what-so-ever. Zero, zip, nada, cipher. He only won the 2008 election because he is “Black”. Black people who wouldn’t have voted for a Harvard educated, White, far-left community organizer, voted for him because they wanted a Black President. Even conservative Blacks will admit that they voted for him because of his race. (… and they have – Charles Payne on Fox Business for one).
We can not continue as a Country with this incompetent “boob” in Office. It’s imperative that he is not re-elected 2012, or we will go the way of the U.S.S.R. and simply cease to exist.
The latest from this incompetent Administration? Well, the US DOJ will spend at least $100,000.00 of tax payer monies to defend an only 9 month hire, Muslim, substitute teacher, who wants to take 3 weeks off (with pay , of course) to make her pilgrimage to Mecca. According to the Koran, this pilgrimage is only required once in a lifetime.

Unlike this President, nobama, who illegally went to war bypassing congress, opting for UN authorization instead. Apparently also violating the UN resolution by attacking ground targets to change the outcome. Now the reports are that the US may start arming the AL Queda linked rebels.
