Rumors of Potential Mid-East Conflict Sends Oil, Gold Prices Up

With news that Iranian warships are headed for the Suez Canal — and possible retaliation by Israel — Business Insider noticed something very interesting: oil prices just shot up. Here’s the graph:

    Buckle up and get on borad with God …Only his shield can stop this train wreck…Glenn I feel is right the more info you have the better the chance of at least knowing how we got here.
    None should have any doubt of how to fix this mess either after it all hit’s the wall and what will need done afterwards..Pray for strengh were all going to need it…

    Iran is picking a fight….they want to destabilize the region. I hope Israel is ready….as I think they are. If and when the crap hits the fan….I back Israel and I hope they take Iran off the map. This President and administration will not do anything to help….as we know Muslims hate the people Israel

I just talked to an old friend (dem) and we started discussed rising food and oil prices.She went on a tangent about how greedy billionaires are ruining America. She said Obama should just step in and take their money and businesses. I told her don’t worry , it will happen soon enough and crossed her # out of my phone book.

    They have such rational solutions to the problems don’t they? Should have told her to be careful what she wishes for.

    Okay tea-baggers, take note, it is nothing more than an intra-day spike and as news got out that Iran was sending over a 55 foot boston whaler, the prices have returned to their earlieer levels. Again more of a nothing story from the blaze to get the baggers worked up.

    Now you know the real intentions of Iran. Financially break the west, leave to war ships docked in Syria for a year having to replensh them. Then when Obama is behind in the polls just before the election, attack. Causing Obama to cancel the elections for the safety of the US Citizens. Which causes riots making Obama have to declare martial law. End of story.

    Paja I was just going to say that the PTB are manipulating the formulas we calculate inflation , unemployment etc who knows where we are at. Beck had that guy on not too long ago who still calcs financial numbers by the old formulas. Problem is PTB have so much control majority of Americans are clueless. You know through the state controlled media that ABC is now questioning. The zombies have a “not going to happen here” mentality as a result. Only other answer for them being so blind is complacency. “Ahh so what, so they want to restrict how much electricity we use or how much people eta, amount of fuel they use… its all for the best to make the country a better place.”

    Is there anyone…anyone in the Western World that will ever believe another media person, another ‘social justice’ democrat, another ‘union’ member or anyone in this administration?
    This administration, with the help of George Soros and his privately owned media, has put the entire world in danger to the point where they truly have no more control.

    So the next part of the game is coming, and our POTUS is clueless, powerless, and most likely will go upon another one of his vacations and apology tours. There is even an outside chance if harm or threat comes to the canal, then Obama would turn the navy and military of America upon the nation of Israel itself – remember he views the nation of Israel as a major problem in the area, and as a former British Protectorate before the UN established the land, a target worthy of destruction.

    Iran may also provoke an incident to have the damage done deliberately to the canal; blame Israel, and have the international community come crashing straight down upon the head of the nation of Israel as well.

    His mad dream of the 12th Imam would be that much closer to his mind of completion.

    All the while, the great leader of our country is patting himself on the back for a job well done. With his partners in the mainstream media, Obama will accept all the credit for Egypt, and none of the criticism for the rest of the region. I don’t see all of this ending well for anyone.

      No proprietor in a barter economy will do that to a patron, please. In the unlikely event that there is no civil authority to keep the peace. EVERYONE that is still alive will be packing major heat.

      So, with that in mind, here are two slightly more PLAUSABLE scenarios that show the value of investing in Gold and Silver. (For those of us with a clue)

      “That will be 1,000.00 Ameros for your loaf of bread mister.”
      “No problem, here you go”
      “BTW, the exchange rate for gold is up to 100,000 Eurameros per oz. today”
      “Really the exchange rate is that high? I better get over to the bank before they close”
      “Here is your change.”
      “Thanks”

      Possible Scenario 2:
      “That will be 1,000.00 Ameros for your loaf of bread mister.”
      “How about $.20 in pre-1964 silver, I have 2 Mercury dimes right here”
      “Great, I was running short on dimes today”
      “Good deal, thanks”
      “Thanks”

      I would not be suprised if soros is taking advantage of this situation; he is not likely behind the situation for the most part, just taking advantage of the situation. And I would love to have him buy up a lot of gold and oil, then the price collapse to the point it leaves him broke before he could make any move to profit from it.

      After that, have him work for Glenn Beck sweeping up the floors of Beck’s business.

What are their political views/ideals? What entities will he leave donations/grants/trust to? What ones will he create prior to his passing?

      The problem with just letting everything go and then picking up the peices is that we also are linked to the area; and how much of ourselves will be shattered in the process. Anyone holding that we could just let it go, as much as I wish we could, without getting hurt in some way is nuts; the chaos coming is what the nut job in Iran wants, and what the administration here will use to their own agenda in destroying the country.
