Rupert Murdoch: ‘Something Creepy, Maybe Even Evil’ About Scientology

Rupert Murdoch scientology

News Corp. Chairman Rupert Murdoch shook up the Twitterverse Sunday morning with several provocative tweets about Scientology, following the news that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are getting divorced.

“Scientology back in news. Very weird cult, but big, big money involved with Tom Cruise either number two or three in hiearchy [sic],” the 81-year-old media mogul tweeted.

News broke Friday that Holmes had filed for divorce from Cruise after five years of marriage.

Murdoch, the owner of Fox News, the Wall Street Journal and the New York Post, followed up his “cult” comment with another missive: “Watch Katie Holmes and Scientology story develop. Something creepy, maybe even evil, about these people.”

As the Los Angeles Times noted, Cruise — who has done movies for News Corp.’s 20th Century Fox — is “known for being prickly about being challenged about his involvement with Scientology.”

Murdoch was apparently assailed online for his comments, but nevertheless stood by them.

“Since Scientology tweet hundreds of attacks. Expect they will increase and get worse and maybe threatening. Still stick to my story,” he tweeted.

Politico pointed out that Greta Van Susteren, one of Fox News’ most prominent hosts, is a Scientologist.

Asked on Twitter what he thought of Mormons, Murdoch responded: “Mormonism a mystery to me, but Mormons certainly not evil.”

Murdoch also used his hours-long Twitter session to express doubts about Mitt Romney’s ability to beat President Barack Obama in November.

“Met Romney last week. Tough O Chicago pros will be hard to beat unless he drops old friends from team and hires some real pros. Doubtful,” he tweeted.

Scientologists are like Muslims – disrespect them and they destroy you.

I saw a TV interview with John Travolta and Kirsty Alley years ago. Travolta and Alley agreed it was ok to dig though the trash of Scientology enemies and to find dirt to blackmail their Scientology criticism. It was a very revealing and creepy interview. I bet it turned off a lot of viewers.

Tom Cruise’s wife Katie – just left him. Filed for divoce in NY where she wants full custody. From the Brit papers, it is because she doesn‘t want Tom’s Scientologist mother and sister following her around (AND LIVING WITH HER) watching that she and her daughter do not stray from Scientology. With sole custody – Katie can say NO to scientology being taught to her daughter.

I have a friend who lived in Clearwater, Fl. and would visit a pub close to the Large area of the Scientololgists. He said that, It looked like the people had a look of VooDoo on their face and that Hilter could be in charge of that place………Always marching down the streets and never looking at anybody driving by or on the streets……Almost like out of touch with the WORLD

The cult of $cientology is responsible for the original creation of the ANON group, as ANON was formed to show up at $cientology events and locations and protest against them while wearing their big giant afros and their Guy Fawlkes masks which gave them some safety from $cientology lawyers finding out who they were. The rag tag ANONS were pretty effective at being a pain in the $cientology asses and getting their message out against the well funded and widely distributed evil powers of $cientology. What is really weird is after ANON had decided that $cientology was evil and had set about to push back against it, after some time of doing that, ANON came out and put FURRIES, Furries: grown men and women who think they are animals and who wear furry animal suits around all the time, including during sex, ANON came out and put the sickness of FURRYhood right up there next to the sickness of $cientology and ANON then put its efforts into curbing both cults. The Furry thing goes waaaaay beyond them believing they are animals and them wearing Fur Suits all the time, as there is a mental / sexual sickness associated with furries that involves homosexuality and beastiality and the introduction of young children into that lifestyle drawn in by all the adults playing around in their furry suits. According to ANON. Weird related videos follow:

Oh my gosh! Who knows anymore. I think everybody is nuts. The battle is not flesh and blood but a spiritual battle against wickedness in high places.

If it is spiritual, what do we to to help the Lord? We rebuke evil and cast it out and we Pray God’s Will on earth as it is in Heaven. We subue the demons and love the Lord thy God with all our hearts, all all your might, with all your mind and all your strength and love your neighbor and lean not unto your own understanding. WE bind Satan and Loose the Holy Spirit, we speak life, love, Christ and fulfill God’s law like Christ because now we can, through Christ who is in us. I keep trying, but those evil people just get my goat. I will keep trying.

I think Alex Jones believes his rhetoric much more than I believe GB does. I think he’s off the mark a lot of times, but sometimes he’s well ahead of the curve. I’ll take a look at his site a couple times a week and read articles that seem interesting, or when the guest has great credentials. Then tuck it away and see if anyone else picks up on it, or other evidence presents itself. I mean he definitely has his narrative and will twist things to fit it, but isn’t that true with every outlet?

A portmanteau word combining “Paul” and “bot” used as a moniker for avid followers of 2012 Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul. Supporters who act in a habitual, drone-like nature via constant domination of internet forums, polls or even real-life events (due to their overwhelming support for the candidate) are often subjected to the term.

On a lighter note, here is the “Paulbot Creed” ….

The implied suggestion that Ron Paul is anything on the level of George Washington or Jefferson as MUTINEER stated should give one pause. More fundamentally the dust-up over Paul the Younger’s endorsement of his party’s nominee (Romney) reveals the overwhelming flaw in the Paul r3volutionary movement. It is less of a political movement and more of a cult like Scientology, centered around Ron Paul and HIS ideas (as with L. Ron Hubbard), which his followers seem to regard as holy writ.

This campaign is Ron Paul’s swan song. He is in his mid-70s and is not as spry as he once was. He is leaving Congress which was his claim to political legitimacy. And sooner rather than later, he will be with the ages, a departed prophet. Then his cult will die or subsumed into the greater Conservative movement. Either outcome would be satisfactory.

As long as there are Paul acolytes here bashing our party’s nominee (the man Rand Paul endorsed) and mentioning Romney’s name where no topic exists to mention it either (like Mutineer has been doing all day along with other Paulestinians)… I will continue to kick Ron Paul and his merry band of neo-Liberal misfits into the gutter where you belong… right along side the Obama acolytes where they swim in their own OWS drainage and where you meet them on many an occasion.

      No likey? Tough.

      Animalsasleaders,

It didn’t take you long to figure out Time_to_Troll. His obsession with Ron Paul would be hilarious if it weren’t so pathetic.

He believes he is “kicking to the gutter” when in reality all he does is lie, slander, and post childish insults on a Beavis and ******** level.

He likes to cut and paste the words of neocons like Jeffery Lord and Gary Anderson (without giving credit – as if they were his original thoughts), and yet he would deny that he is a neocon – or even that neocons exist.

But you’d better be careful challenging him too much. After all he is America’s greatest combat veteran (just ask him), not to mention that he has hands like baseball mitts and a snarl that causes libertarians to spontaneously combust (or some such nonsense).

Clearly Time_to_hate_Liberty knows nothing about Thomas Jefferson or Ron Paul, because if he did, he could not deny that there is no other American in politics today that is nearer in political philosophy and in integrity and character to Jefferson, than Paul.

Ahh yes, the Urban Dictionary. Quite the credible source there, Time2; the same website that defines such poetic words as “feltch”, “cleveland steamer”, and “on the clock dump”.

COUSCOUS. LOL. Believe me… the boy-crushes from the Ron Paul peanut gallery far, far outweigh any obsession I may have with Ron Paul. I DO however have to admit that I truly enjoy giving you girly-men a reason to froth at the mouths like a psych patient who has undergone a frontal lobotomy.

It gives me great pleasure to inform anyone who cares to read what Ron Paul and you stand for… and it certainly isn’t the Constitution, liberty and freedom, then read you half-wits ride in on your collective Ron Paul bicycles to try and save, then avenge your dear leader from my scathing assessments regarding his lack of character and his ideology of idiocy with half-baked insults and personal attacks because you have nothing else. But I do love it! It gives me just that much more motivation to expose you and Ron Paul. Knowing that I have you pencil-necked, drooling, paranoid, tin-foil hat wearing children of the corn pegged gives me great joy, lol…
