Rush Defends Cain: He Represents Everything the Media Says ‘Does Not Exist’

On radio Monday Friday, Rush Limbaugh came to the defense of 2012 GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain after he was mocked recently by comedian Jon Stewart. The Comedy Central host used a degrading voice to mock Cain‘s lighthearted proposal that bills shouldn’t be longer than three pages, even going as far as to say Cain doesn’t like to read.

According to Rush, Cain represents everything the media says “does not exist.” Not only is he black conservative, but he’s articulate and smart. And while the media and the left wanted to praise the way Obama talks, Rush said, they’d rather make fun of Cain:

“You identify yourself as a black conservative and you may as well be admitting that you’re a whore, or a prostitute, an Uncle Tom, you’ve been bought off, whatever, you’re not real. It’s not possible for a black person to be conservative. The way the media and the left look a this country, a black person who is conservative is a black person who would agree with the whole notion of slavery and would want to be a slave owner. That’s how bad it is. That is how devoid and distanced from reality that they are.”

Sure is refreshing to hear some one who has credibility stand up on his hind legs and fight back. Unlike most milk toast Republicans. Its time to take off the gloves and get ready for the real street fight that is coming.
As I see it the good old boys are already falling by the wayside to honest not afraid to speak out against all that is arrayed against them. The alphabet media, Hollywood, this regime and it billion dollar backers.
I only hope H. Cain, doesn’t get discouraged he has a lot more that just what I stated above. He‘ll keep Obama’s feet to the fire and they can’t call him a racist. They will try.

Good to see somebody coming to aid Cain…there is no perfect candidate…but he has less problems than Pawlenty or Newt or Romney….and he appears to be more Constitutional, more Conservative, and more down to Earth and to the point…less of a policitian and more of a CEO that has a history of getting things done, solving economic problems created by others, and turning a profit.

Cain has all the economic prowess of Romney
Cain has the Tea Party support of Bachmann
Cain has the family story and background of Pawlenty
Cain has the oratory skills of Obama

there was a MotorTrend/Road and Track article from the 90′s…it put the sports cars of the world against each other…the top 10…Corvette, Mustang, Camaro, BMW M3, Audi S4, Supra turbo…all the big HP for the time, two door sports cars…and they put the Mazda RX-7 turbo in the mix…
the Mazda was never 1st in any test..sometimes not even 2nd..but it was always in the top 3…in every category…1/4 mile, top speed, skid pad, interior design, exterior design, dyno numbers, price..
the conclusion after all the tests were done…all the awards for 1st in a category given….the best all around car for the money, fun, enjoyment, driveability…
    the Mazda RX-7 turbo…
why?? because it was consistently one of the best…
Cain is the Mazda RX-7 turbo…never anyones first choice..but consistently in the top 3 in every category that matters to the primary and general elections…
    Cain’s nomination is Obama

I have always liked Cain but I do not think he prepared himself very well to run. Foreign policy is not his suit and while I do not think you have to be a policy wonk to run you should be able to clearly answer basic questions asked of you. Especially when some of them are pertaining to recent events that are in today’s headlines. I think he would make an excellent Cabinet memeber.

Add Peoria to the list of “problem” cities. In fact, this is becoming commonplace. Where is Obama talking to “his” people? We know, playing golf, sending that dumb-ass Biden out to do his job.

    I agree jeff1158

I do like most of the candidates in various degrees even if it’s only because they would do far more for this country than BHO ever could in 10 terms. But I like Herman’s down to earth personality, which may be the thing that keeps him out of the WH. Many people think you have to be from old money or some society of insiders to be a president, Or you have to have a certain personae which hurt Palin. Not my opinion but the educated and closed minded think this way. And they are on both sides of the aisle.

      actually..they aren’t….
Cain has said he would not oppose an audit of the FED and returning the FED to its sole duty of dealing with inflation concerns in the economy…
which would mean ….no more lending 3 Trillion to foreign banks….

even Ron Paul, I believe, knows you can not end the FED overnight..despite what his followers keep crying at every chance…

if Ron Paul and Herman Cain sat down together, without cameras or video or publicity, I guarantee that the two of them would work out the perfect plan to deal with the FED because Paul has the knowledge and the plan, Cain has the skills in administration and being a CEO and finding solutions to problems that are just and pleasing to the majority and the minority….

the two of them together would be the perfect storm of skills, knowledge, and counter balance of each other to maybe not bring the “perfect” solutions but that would bring the solutions that 80% of the country would agree too….the TRUE Constitutional and Founding Father course of action…

In the first debate a few months ago, everyone said he “won” the debate but if you listened to his answers they were not possible solutions they were answers along the lines of ” I believe in putting a team of smart individuals together, looking at the problem and going from there.“ A strategy in which I completely agree but I would think at this point you would to have some serious plans of actions and not just a ”well I’ll tackle it when i get there.” type of mentality.

He’s a businessman, not a politician. While it can be good in some ways (helping the economy), it can be bad in others (doesn’t know the law nor understand how the government works). Hence why he could be VP, but not a president.

You’re right, gaffes and soundbites are silly. Hence the rest of my comment. Cain is not a politician; he’s a businessman. Let’s put it a different way: he cannot get elected because of his political inexperience, and even if he did, he cannot play politics well enough to accomplish anything of note. While some gaffes are just soundbites, others show a clear misunderstanding of how the political system and laws of our country work. Cain’s fall under the latter, not the former.

No, maybe you think so, but I already explained why his Muslim comment was a gaffe. Two months later he backtracked and said “Ok, I would.” It took him two months to come clean and say it, likely after he had it pointed out to him that his previous statement was unconstitutional and illegal. That’s… pretty much the closest definition to a gaffe that you can get. I‘m sorry if you don’t see it that way.

Call out false slanders if you want, Cain is not fit to be a president if he doesn’t understand the law. There’s a reason people get law degrees. A business man alone can’t be effective as president of the US. He won’t get anything done, no matter how good his ideas are.

He’s definitely ready to be president. Obama set the bar really low on that criterion. That said, Cain is not my first choice. I much prefer CC or AW; however, ANYONE who goes up against Obama has my vote. ANYONE because, really, it doesn’t get worse than what we have in office right now.

Cain is ready, he is a leader and that is what our country needs. He is one of the 3 people I am considering casting my vote for, and at this point is is in the lead for getting it.

Herman Cain has more executive experience in his little toenail than Obama does in his whole administration. I believe Mr. Cain will make some hard choices, unlike Obama and start to turn this country back around. He doesn’t hate America and what it stands for, he is a Christian and a businessman.

One of my DOGS would be a better President than that poor excuse we have in the WHITE. HE thought he’d waltz in, take over, gut us financially… spread our military thin… Demoralize us with jerks like TSA etc….let his Muslim Buddies build Mosques on top of the WTC…Apologize for US to the world..when the world would be in the dark ages without us (our aid, our $, our inventions) and appoint every bloody Communist known to man to his CZAR staff and then, act like the DICTATOR wannabe he is by Ignoring CONGRESS…and with that freak Pelosi… rams down the WORST piece of LEGISLATION we’ve ever had rammed down our throats…. WE’LL replace all of these in 2012 and NEVER again…never, ever again will we allow these LIBERAL LOON PROGRESSIVE freaks to tear our country apart. THERE ARE 3.5 times MORE OF US, folks, than there are of them. THEY have the NON-PROFESSIONAL MSM, but that’s all they have. Remember, even UNIONS comprise 7% of the private sector…of course….of course this President is trying to load up the FED. GOV. with as many people as he can, putting them all in unions…but there are still and will be MORE OF US… EVERYONE find something you can do and do it. This is not a job any longer “for the other guy”. GOD BLESS AMERICA and OUR TROOPS.

      GO CAIN

Now I know he has one of the hardest climbs without political name recognition but he is great and has experience as a CEO. Let’s see if we can get his name out: http://tiny.cc/ddeo9

SAD DAY FOR THE CAIN CAMPAIGN:

Top aides are leaving Cain: http://tiny.cc/dncbt

Now this isn’t all bad, this happens all the time in campaigns, as with Gingrich‘s campaign but Cain can’t win by losing any of his staff. He needs help, anyone got some time?

Hey, at least Herman Cain has met payrolls and has executive experience! Put in Allen West for his V/P for the foreign policy experience, and you have a winning teams!

But Rush is correct — conservatives of color are demeaned and diminished by white elitists. Then again, those elitists don’t have the good sense God gave a goose either! So why do we bother w/their lame-brained opinions anyhow?

I’ve seen it written that the blacks like to say and that is “Black is Back”. Well apparently black IS back unless you’re a black conservative. I would say that a conservative black is more of a true black than what the media and liberals call black.

i agree, as for all of the people running at this moment, Mr. Cain is the least phony…..not to mention flakey.

i don’t want someone like Bachmann who appears to be everything we conservatives want, but has been playing ‘the game’ too long already…not to mention she has a serious issue with regard to changing her staff 5 or 6 times in a very short period. That speaks volumes about her.

Unless Sarah or Trump jump in Cain has my vote.

Herman IS ready, MORE ready than MOST, including Obama.

What we TRULY need in a President is an HONEST MAN – A SINCERE MAN – A MAN ABOVE REPROACH – A MAN WHO WILL AVOID THE VERY APPEARANCE OF INPROPRIETY.

Our founders could easily have made it a requirement that candidates have been ‘schooled’ in law. But, they did not. They knew that you needed to be of sufficient age to have learned life’s lessons (I question if this age is adequate anymore. Children used to be men at age 13ish & independent & self-sufficient – not living at home with Mommy & Daddy on their insurance to age 26, & in school to age 30 – then with 5 short years of life ‘experience’ they become qualified to be President of the U.S. – as opposed to being on their own at 13 & having 22 years of experience before being qualified.)

We do not “need” more policians. We do not need lawyers. We have tons of legal advisors, accountants, etc. What is needed in an executive is an honest man, an intelligent man, an intuitive man. One who is inquisitive & demanding – one who surrounds himself with loyal critics, not with ‘yes men’, a man with vision, insight, & grit. An honest man. A man among men. An “IRON FIST IN A VELVET GLOVE”. A man who is confident & commanding. A man who is not afraid to speak his mind. A man whose opinions are formed of experience, & not shifting political winds.

      Such men are rare.

Cain may not be the “smoothest” or most polished, but we need REAL MEN like Herman Cain.

      @cemerius@

Lincoln was as much of a republican/conservative as McCain was. He was one of the first big progressives. The civil war had as little to do with freeing slaves as Obamacare had to do with providing Americans with better/cheaper health care. Progressives then as progressive now, used lies, name calling, race bating, and class warfare to get their ways. The conservatives need to distance themselves from Lincoln, he was the great divider and was as evil as the greater divider Obama, we need a nation united, not one ripped apart by lies, name calling, race bating, class warfare, and fraud.
