Rush Limbaugh Attacks Media Over Breitbart Coverage: ‘Even in Death’ They Lie

Conservative titan Rush Limbaugh opened his radio show today by paying tribute to the “bulldog” Andrew Breitbart. But while Limbaugh was sure to give Breitbart due praise, he also was quick to accuse the media of distorting the story.

He opened by telling how Breitbart sent Limbaugh a giant portrait of Reagan every year — a touching tradition that started at Rush’s wedding. But the fond memories soon gave way to an expose on the media.

“Even today, the AP…misrepresents him,” Limbaugh explained. “Even in death.”

“This AP article is a textbook example of the kind of outrageous mendacity in the news media today that he fought against. Even in death the AP cannot refrain from lying about him and misrepresenting him.”

      ENCICOM…I have long suspected Andrew Breitbart was a cokehead. Sometimes you’d see him he was fine. Then sometimes he was wild-eyed and unkempt and talked in a manic way. Keep in mind, too, that Breitbart was, essentially, a rich, Los Angeles celebrity. Throughout the past year the guy has looked pretty bad sometimes…and I have always had my doubts.

    No matter what you think about Andrew Breitbart he brought alot of stories to light that may not have been told if he hadn’t lived! ACORN fraud at the polls, Congressman Weiner’s weiner, and Shirley Sherrod were just a few of them!

      BTW, do you know how so-called voter registration irregularities came to light? It was because ACORN reported them, routinely, as they were required by law to do. That‘s what we’re talking about. All of that was investigated by Repulicans in several states, just as ENCICOM says, and they found ACORN did nothing wrong. In fact, they followed the law. The only thing Nevada came up with as afterthought was the thing about an ACORN manager supposedly creating an unsanctioned quota system which was against the law in Nevada. And ACORN’s bankruptcy attorney wanted to wrap it up.
