Rush Limbaugh Berates MSNBC: An Obama ‘Super PAC’ That Has Decided ‘No Matter What, It’s Racist’

During his radio show on Thursday, Rush Limbaugh blasted MSNBC’s coverage of the Republican National Convention, and in general, saying the network’s obsession with race has reached a point of “total absurdity.” The host explained that MSNBC has spent a large portion of its coverage talking about the so-called “code words” Republicans use to insult President Obama and black people.
“The singular focus of MSNBC for the past six days has been racism. There‘s one subject that they’re talking about: racism,” Limbaugh said. “The racism of Romney; the racism of Ryan; the racism of every speaker the convention; the racism of the Republican Party; the racism of every Republican and conservative. It‘s all they’re talking about. It’s laughably hilarious, except to them.”
“You know what we call people obsessed with race? Racists,” Limbaugh added. “Really what we have here is blatant bigotry and racism on this network of holier-than-thou liberals.”
Because the left can‘t tout President Obama’s record, the host explained, they have “descended into the only thing they’ve got, which is criticism, mischaracterization, impugning of their opponents.”
“MSNBC has decided that, no matter what, it’s racist,” said Limbaugh. “They are a political operation – MSNBC is not a news network.”
The conservative radio talk show host event went as far as to call MSNBC “nothing more than a Super PAC” for the Obama campaign.
“Even using the word ‘Chicago’ was said to be racist,” said Limbaugh, referring to a guest on Chris Matthews’ show, who pointed out that a lot of Republicans keep mentioning ‘Chicago’ and “there are a lot of black people” there.
Limbaugh went on to criticize MSNBC host Touré, who said that GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney was taking part in the “ni**erizaiton” of Obama. “Nobody understood that, and even, at the time, that was so overboard that they appealed to Touré’s better angels and asked him to apologize while saying it again,” he said.
“Can’t say ‘Hussein,’ can’t say ‘birth certificate,’ can’t say ‘Barack,’ Can’t say ‘Obama,’ Limbaugh said. “Cant’s say ‘Chicago,’ can’t say ‘PGA,’ can’t say ‘golf’ – it’s all racist.”

But he wasn’t done. Limbaugh then set his sights on MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell who said earlier on Thursday that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell was actually trying to compare Obama to Tiger Woods by joking about him playing too much golf. That sent Limbaugh into this impassioned diatribe:
“Lawrence O’Donnell accused Mitch McConnell of attempting to portray Barack Obama as an oversexed black man by kidding him about playing golf. Tiger Woods. You have to think Tiger Woods. You have to believe, in order for this to work, when McConnell starts joking about Obama and golf, you have to think, “A-ha, so, they’re trying to say Obama is just like Tiger, eh? Black guy, plays golf. Who’s that? Tiger Woods. What’s he? Well, we all know Tiger’s story. Ergo, McConnell is trying to characterize Obama as this Tiger Woods type figure.” It makes no sense whatsoever. It’s embarrassing.”
“I knew that with the election of Obama, every bit of criticism would be said to be racist. I never thought it would get this insane,” Limbaugh concluded. “It really is pathetic.”
And before he ended his nearly 12-minute rant, he gave Chris Matthews one more jab, actually, more like a right hook:
“If I didn’t know better, I would say that Chris Matthews is having a nervous breakdown — and I don’t know better, actually. Seriously. He could very well be having a nervous breakdown. We’re watching it. Everybody’s watching it happen in public. Well, “everybody” isn’t. Very few people are, actually, which could also be part of the problem.”

You want to see nuttiness, brace yourself. And leave a comment while you’re there. That always gets them stirred up.

The Network is losing viewers due to the stridency the causal viewer hears. I don’t think the business model included losing market share which is happening because of the stridency of the likes of Matthew,the Rev.,O’Donnell, the mouth of Mr Ed. The model of being the Progressive competitor of the Fox network is not working and their seems to be no plan B.

It has gotten to the point where anything other than glowing praise given to a person of any color other than white is considered racist if it is said by a Republican.
