Rush Limbaugh Turns the Tables on Reid Smear: ‘IRS Should Be Interrogating Harry Reid’

Longtime listeners of Rush Limbaugh often remark that the pundit has an extraordinary capacity to turn practically every Democratic attack back around on the Democratic party themselves. And that‘s exactly what Limbaugh did today when it comes to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s attacks on Romney, which Limbaugh savaged for showing not that Romney had done something wrong, but that instead, Reid may have committed (wait for it) a felony! Yes, that’s right, in their desperate efforts to prove that Romney has committed a crime of some kind, the Democrats may have committed one themselves, according to Limbaugh.

Rush: I’ll tell you what ought to be happening here. IRS agents should be interrogating Harry Reid to determine who it is that supposedly leaked confidential tax information about a private citizen to him. And Harry Reid, having disclosed publicly what he was told, should be investigated as well for passing such information on to the public. This is a felony, what Harry Reid is doing. So if anybody needs to be investigated here, it’s Harry Reid. IRS agents ought to be talking to him and trying to figure out who leaked. You know, who is this guy from Bain that’s calling Harry Reid? Who are these people? And then he publicly disclosed what he was told, and he doesn’t know if it’s true. He’s demanding that Romney prove it, so Harry Reid’s admitting he doesn’t know if it’s true.

      I live in Las Vegas and ironically I went to Laughlin, NV yesterday and drove by an old coal plant that Harry had shut down. Guess what happened to that worthless land? That’s right, good old Harry ended up with it. Guess what he did? He sold it to a Chinese business that is going to put a solar plant there. Imagine that!

      OK, let me try this again. Everyone already agrees that adultery is wrong. (Unless of course you are advocating for acceptance of adultery as a societal norm). Since everyone already agrees that adultery is a sin and against the morals of society, what is your point?

      If you are wondering why there is not an equivalent “out cry” against adultery – please see paragraph 1.

      Just to further clarify, if and when there arises a powerful bully lobby favoring the societal acceptance of adultery as normative behavior, trust me, you will see the same indignation for this sexual sin as for the sexual sin of homosexuality.

    Some years ago I was pulled over by two highway patrolmen (it was late at night on an interstate that was rumored to be a drug trafficking route) and in the course of their “fishing expedition” they asked (politely) if they could search my car.. When I declined, one stated“ if you have nothing to hide you would let us look” I replied having nothing to hide is the exact reason I wont let you search! After a moment they gave me back my papeork and went about their business

      That’s the correct way to handle that situation. Without probable cause, any search of your vehicle would be illegal without your consent. The “…if you have nothing to hide…” routine is a bait question. Remember to always be polite…and smile for the camera!

    Okay folks, I think all the lefty liberals should undergo IRS audit, especially Nancy Pelosi, Reid, and of coard BHO. BHO went from personal wealth of 1 Million to 7 Million in less then three years. You reckon all were doing ‘insider trading?’ I would be my last dollar they are all involved, including, but not excluding some of Obama’s czars. They are not Robin Hoods. They are stealing from taxpayers and giving to third world countries! Money…the John Brown Lefties and taxpayers don’t have!       I know that guy, and Harry did make millions from illegal land deals. He claims he is an attorney, but has been in politics his entire life. Starting back in the 70′s in Vegas, as a republican.
