Rush on Lerner’s Economic Plot: What if it’s Already Been Tried?

Could it be that Stephen Lerner’s plot to collapse the American Economy has already been tried?
That’s the question Rush Limbaugh spent time today wondering, his second day talking about the The Blaze’s story about the former (maybe) SEIU official’s plan to stage massive mortgage and student-loan defaults.

In response to a caller who asked if the scheme was plausible, Rush wondered if the 2008 financial crisis was an example of Lerner’s plan already in practice.
“Has it been tried, maybe, on a much more sophisticated level?” Rush asked rhetorically, pointing to government involvement in the housing crisis. He then went on to invoke a familiar name.
“You need to ask George Soros. If there’s a guy who would love to see this happen, it’s George Soros.”
In the end, Rush said, it’s not the far left “kooks” like Lerner that worry him, but rather the idea that people like Lerner could be “inside the White House trying to pull something like this.” As The Blaze has noted, White House visitor records show a Stephen Lerner has visited four times in the past two years.

Plus, Glenn cries and draws a bunch of stuff on chalkboards, and demonstrates nuclear catastrophes with kitchen implements. He is funny and cute. Rush is just a scary giant fat thing.

Report Post »The House wants to cut 61 billion or 1.6% of the 3.8 trillion in federal spending this year. The House bill to cut spending amounts to about 6 days of deficit spending. Senate Democrats have offered to cut about 1/2 day of deficite spending.
The President and the liberals in the Senate threaten a government shutdown over such a meager first step on the road to fiscal sanity. Simply baffling. I say let them shut the government down.

Posted on March 24, 2011 at 4:28pmIf this is the caller that I heard on Russ’ program this morning…Rush wasn’t “exactly” supportive of the fact that this could be a problem for our economy…AND…he also said that Mr. Lerner was no longer employed by SEIU…Rush down played the clout of Mr. Lerner…If I were Glenn’s staff, I’d listen to his program from today and see if my take on this is correct…As Glenn mentioned on yesterday’s radio program, there is probably something to SEIU’s manipulations of Mr. Lerner’s “employment” in order to permit the Union to cover their actions lawfully in this entire ordeal…Obviously, Russ’ support on this would go a long way toward spreading the word and, as we all know, it’s pretty much up to all of us to get it spread!

Maybe ACORN was trained to strong arm the banks, Countrywide gave out bad loans, all of it to bring this government to it’s knees.
Maybe the election of Barack Obama was even a sure thing…………Maybe it has all been planned for years…………………………Maybe that’s what Rev Wright meant when he said, “Ohhhhhh, Change is coming, all right, Change is coming” at the National Press Club.

Meanwhile, the average citizen who loves America cannot get anywhere near the historic house that has always been a symbol of freedom over the years. These progressives walk its halls and plot our downfall. I would love to know how the Founders would have dealt with them.

The Progressives only want to protect you and your children from drinking or inhaling carcinogens and other toxins (EPA), protect workers from getting killed or maimed at work (OSHA), help, as Jesus said, “the poorest among us” survive in these hard times, prevent insurance companies from dropping your insurance when you get sick and all those other thing that Progressives want to protect Americans.
And, of course, they want to destroy America.

Report Post »Last time I checked, people still get cancer, still die at work in accidents, still die doing their chosen thrill seeking, poverty still exists, etc. Bad things will always happen no matter how much regulation, taxation, command and control the rest of us are subjected to. Do you impoverish 300 million so that 10 million never feel any pain? If there were no rich, who would pay to support the less fortunate? Who would supply the jobs?
