Russian Cult Believes Vladimir Putin is Reincarnation of St. Paul — No, Really

A former Russian convict has seen the light!
Svetlana Frolova, imprisoned for fraud more than a decade ago, has convinced followers of her bizarre cult that Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin is a figure worthy of worship — literally.
Frolova, who now calls herself “Mother Frolova,” believes in reincarnation and insists that Putin, in a past life, was the founder of the Russian Orthodox Church. According to Reuters:
She says God spoke to her and revealed Putin’s past lives included that of Grand Prince Vladimir of Rus, credited with founding the Russian Orthodox Church more than a millennia ago.
“Every one of us has many incarnations. Saint Paul was indeed one of Putin’s,” she told Reuters, her high-pitched voice bouncing off the icon-hung walls of her sanctuary in Bolshaya Yelnya, a village near the city of Nizhny Novgorod, some 410 km (255 miles) east of Moscow.
Putin’s camp claims that it doesn‘t approve of Frolova’s disturbing admiration. In her compound, women wear nuns’ dress, people garden…there are even children present! The cult leader believes that Putin has the “soul of a tsar” and that God has already decided his place at the helm of Russia’s government:
Russia’s future has already been decided: “Do you remember how Putin became president? Yeltsin gave his post up to him. God willing, Medvedev will do the same,” she said. “Everything has been decided by God.”
This story certainly speaks for itself. Truly far-out.

The fact of the matter is he is both, Putin unlike Obama has a strong belief in Russian greatness and supports many of Russia’s nationalist movements both publically and covertly. He has the respect of the majority of his people it doesn’t matter if he meets our approval or not he is or will be the the Leader of Russia very soon. He has already out smarted the west on many occasion’s and has a deep distrust of NATO and the US. The best comparison one can make of Putin to Russian leaders of the past is he is a mix of Stalin and Peter the Great and if this is accurate we have yet to see what evil or greatness he brings to Russia or the world. Regardless of what America thinks of him the Russians like him and that is all that is required . Russian’s like a strong leader regardless of how he may have gained power, no one over there respects weakness. Putin is to be taken seriously and not be blown off as some kind of Mafia figure , I am married to a Russian so I have good insight and information on what people think over there so if people here want to blow off the Russians and Putin you are in fora surprise down the road.

You’ve got it backwards. The twelve disciples were the ones that Christ gathered around Him during His ministry and before the Crucifixion. St Paul did not become a believer until well after the Ascension. He was emphatically not one of the original 12 disciples, even counting Judas’ understudy. He is usually referred to as the Apostle Paul.

Jesus appeared to Paul personally and converted him on the road to Damascus. The fact that it happened after Christ’s ascension does not change anything. Paul understood the distinction, and counted himself an apostle. Look at how he introduces himself in his many epistles.

Paul was actually persecuting Christians and his name at that time was Saul of Tarsus. Upon travelling to Damascus he had a vision of Christ, Saul converted, changed his name and became responsible for converting the gentiles.

I read billy bob’s article, did my own research on Putin, read 4 books – well not today and declare what means and who cares about some birth certificate in this article? Putin’s birthplace before perestroika in Leningrad. Now Saint Petersburg is listed, ha ha. Saint Petersburg is a prettier city than that old place of Lenin.
Putin is old KGB, local wisdom calls these empire wannabes siloviki. All hold over secret agents-sneak-in up on common citizens that ask in a bar, ‘where is our democracy that was promised?’ The Cold war was never finished. The current status is at half-time. Perhaps a better team replacement in the third quarter (U.S.A. is morally broke). If we as a nation continue on the existing path, the USSR will clearly be the victor of the Cold War.
Putin, through his muscle, would not be afraid of eliminating Mr. Sores if the reward to himself-and cause rebuilding an Empire were of high profit. The Siloviki’s that herd the Russian Gangs and polticial frame work have in their mind when dealing with terrorists a ball park figure of collateral damage (non combatants) in the 1-2000 KIA per incident. The carpenter Russian is nothing but cannon fodder for Mr Putin.
