Update: Russian Journalist’s Brutal Beating Caught on Video

Over the weekend, we brought you the story of a Russian journalist beaten so badly he had to be placed in a medically-induced coma.
Oleg Kashin, 30, was attacked by two men while on his way home early Saturday morning. The reported video of the event shows the two men jump Kashin, beat him repeatedly, and then Kashin struggling to recover from the attack. A version of the video as reported by a Russian news outlet:

Over the weekend, Kashin underwent a second round of surgery. Doctors say it was successful and, after removing the bone fragments in his cranial cavity, that they’ve ruled out brain damage. His broken leg has been set, as has his jaw, which was fixed in the first operation so he could breathe.

Municipality “administrators” are localized mafia. Public works “employees” are individual freelance mafia. Citizens have no rights and people who don‘t ’play ball‘ become widely known locally as ’targets.’ You either roll over and take it or you take it any way. Some one who speaks their own mind is taking a mind-blowing personal risk and risks the persons of those they love as well.

I believe Glenn is spot on: the peace and freedom we have enjoyed in this land is directly FROM God and our participation in his new covenant -Christ.
Our freedom is not free, it has been purchased by the blood of men and women before us.
We have been fortunate to have been born after them and enjoy the fruits of their sacrifice.
Just as we will sacrifice for our children.
There is evil in this world, and it will continue until the full number of Christian Martyrs has been filled.
God’s promise to us, is that if we repent and acknowledge we are sinners,
He will in turn heal us, raise us from the dead, and write our names in the book of life.
Evil will die in the second death and it will be no more.
The only question is: who are we now, and who will we be on that day ?
I’ll shaddup now, way too many outrages, and way too many distractions that suck us in…..

Posted on November 8, 2010 at 4:12pmThe scan lines look fake, as if it’s regular video edited to look more like surveillance footage.
Surveillance video generally bleeds more than this, even at scan line borders, and the lines are too dark. Also, when the image snap-zooms in, the scan lines are the same size… they should have gotten bigger along with the rest of the video, and become fuzzy. Unless it’s a genuine zoom (from the camera, not software) that was edited down for time, or footage from a second camera, this proves that the lines were superimposed over original footage.
Maybe I’m over-analyzing, but that’s what jumps out at me immediately. It looks like a venetian transition done in Adobe AE. Perhaps it was done innocently by the uploader for added effect. Either way, it makes me question the whole thing that much more.

The journalists in Russia are trying to get the real story out while our journalists try to hide it to protect their liberal bosses. Maybe we could switch journalists with the Russians. Ours prefer the democratic socialists over capitalism already so it would be an easy transition.

There are too many people watching what he is doing. Also he doesn‘t know what kind of dirt Glenn has on him or where it’s located. He could have the smoking gun & Soros wouldn’t know it. He‘ll wait if he’s going to make his move. I don’t think he will. The mask is off & he doesn’t have to hide what he is doing or motives for doing it. Among the elitists he’s somewhat of the norm now.

Glenn is a pain, but I think Soros will limit his reaction to slander and lies.
Then again, it depends on what gets revealed this week…
It would have to be total destruction of his empire, to be foolish enough to strike openly.
But stranger things have happened….
It would have to be a pretty big hit, you‘d have to go thru Glenn’s body guards and dogs first.
Hit or miss, would bring in the FBI and law enforcement, if they aren’t already there.
I would look for an airplane mechanical “issue”, or worse he’d grab a family member.
If I were Glenn, the family would be on “vacation” somewhere far away and defendable.
during the coming expose’ and weeks after.
Then again, you do that to somebody, best be prepared for blowback.

When I finished reading the book “Putin’s Russia” a few years ago, I Googled the author (Anna Politkovskaya) to find more of her writings… turns out she was murdered in her apartment complex.
Seems to be the award for real journalism over there.

The guy doing the swinging (looks like a hammer or small sledge) was concentrating on his legs.
I didn’t see them go thru his pockets like you would think if it was robbery.
A couple of token hits to the head, and a goodbye kick or two.
Hammer blows to the head obviously can kill, the guy concentrating on the legs, speaks volumes.
Yup, message sent and received.
Thugs are everywhere.
They pinched him in a classic sandwich, one in front one in back. try to avoid this if you can.
