Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker was apparently so touched by vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan’s speech at the Republican National Convention on Wednesday that tears rolled from his eyes.
“When Gov. Romney asked me to join the ticket, I said, ‘Let’s get this done.‘ And that’s exactly what we are going to do,” Ryan said.
The cameras then went looking for a reaction from the crowd, and they found a sobbing Gov. Walker, a tear streaking down his cheek.
Watch the video here:
Following Ryan’s speech, Walker told MSNBC why he got emotional hearing the vice presidential candidate’s message.
“I know Paul well, I grew up down the road from him. What he said was not reading off the teleprompter; what he said was his life. When he talked about his dad, told us about his mother, those stories are real,” Walker said.

Posted on August 30, 2012 at 1:02amWhat a stark difference between 0zero with his thuggish ways forcing his will to be done and Ryan who inspires people to be better through their own actions. The egotistic ignorance of a tyrant, such as 0zero, overtaken by honesty, truth, and the American exceptionalism of a true leader like Ryan and Romney. EVERY day, EVERY appearance, large or small, everywhere he goes–even his own little house in Milwaukee–he’s had to put up with vile, awful, completely irrational people. People of Wisconsin, we owe you all a debt of gratitude for your courage. I watched in horror as I saw the Union thugs threaten small businesses, intimidate your politicians, and wreck your capitol. But worst of all, I saw the obscene cruelty which was heaped upon your brave Governor, Scott Walker. At times I wondered how he would be able to withstand death threats, to him and his family, and still be able to do the right thing. No wonder I saw a tear of gratitude roll down his cheek as he realized that Wisconsin people were with him and that Paul Ryan was also chosen, by Mitt, for his courage against the vile left smear and fear machine. Americans have suffered greatly at the hands of Barack Hussein Obama. He has divided our nation as no man in history has ever before. He’s racist. He’s evil. He’s anti-American.

I can’t stand to see how much people idolize these people.
The only people who get moved by political speeches are suckers and people who are so empty that they need to look for someone to idolize and worship.
All I see are trained seals barking.
Look at the State of the Union address. It’s just a time for all of the politicians to come together and say how great each other are, and spend 40 minutes out of a 90 minute speech standing up to get on camera.
I COMPLETELY disagreed when Paul Ryan said something along the lines of, “if you didn’t succeed, it’s not your fault, it’s leaderships fault”
Again, just more pushing the blame on everybody else but the people.
“It‘s not your fault you signed up for a mortgage you couldn’t afford”
“It‘s not your fault you’re 40 lbs overweight”
“It’s not your fault your children are uneducated and they value reality TV over books”
“It‘s not your fault you’re in massive debt because you can’t live within your means”
We have to expect more out of ourselves before we expect more out of our politicians. That will likely never come.

A conservative atheist acknowledges that people are entitled to their religious beliefs, he doesn’t begrudge them, he doesn‘t get offended at the sight of a cross or a star of david and demand they be removed from everyone’s sight…he gets on with his life in a pragmatic and tolerant way. His strength in his beliefs isn’t validated by litigating every religious symbol in the eye of the public off the face of he earth.
A liberal atheist on the other hand has to erase religion from the face of society..making sure christianity gets special attention over all the others. He gets offended at cross formed from two beams after the collapse of the WTC which gave succor and comfort to the emergency crews there. Their sacrifice be damned…this symbol is offensive to liberal atheist sensibilities and must go. He gets offended at a school prayer that has been on a wall of that school for many decades and has never offended anyone in the past. And after all this “offense” he must litigate and ridicule and fuss and pout to make sure they‘re all removed from everyone’s sight..paying special attention to christianity of course.
