Samuel L. Jackson Wants to Know Why God ‘Spared’ GOP From Tropical Storm Isaac

Stay up-to-date on all the convention news by visiting TheBlaze’s dedicated RNC page. Also find out how you can watch exclusive, live reports and analysis on TheBlaze TV. Get both here.

Editor’s Note: This story contains graphic language and may be inappropriate for younger readers.

Displaying the type of tolerance and kindness many on the left are known for, actor Samuel L. Jackson used Twitter as a vehicle to voice his disappointment that God had chosen to “spare” the GOP at the Republican National Convention, but not the city of New Orleans.

On Monday, the actor tweeted: “Unfair Sh*t: GOP spared by Issac ! NOLA prolly F**ked Again! Not understanding God’s plan!”

Ironically, while he was wishing harm on a group of people he disagrees with, Republicans, Jackson was unable to even spell the name of the storm correctly. It’s tropical storm “Isaac,” Mr. Jackson.

Then there was this tweet, where Jackson seemed genuinely surprised that Republicans would take offense to his statements, in which he wishes God wouldn’t “spare” them from a tropical storm:

After the backlash, Jackson eventually issued an apology for poking a “Hornets nest.” Once again, proper grammar and punctuation eluded Mr. Jackson (should have read “Hornet’s nest”).

Still, the actor found plenty of support from the left. Here are some of his most vile supporters:

Hysterical, indeed.

But he also suffered the wrath of conservatives and others who found his tweet inappropriate. Many were upset to hear Jackson’s harsh proclamation — and they let him know it.

Hey Sam perhaps it is because there are at least 10 righteous people in the GOP (reference to the story of Sodom & Gomorrah) more than can be said for the demonrats – no righteous people any longer. Not my grandfather’s demonratic party nor any longer the party of JFK

It’s a gift I had to learn, but I learned to see a movie and think the character is the face. If I thought about the actor instead of the character and face, I would be too offended to watch a movie made after about 1950.

Samuel L. Jackson is one of my favorite actors. I love him on the screen. But, if I saw him in real life, I would not cross the street to pi$$ on him if he were on fire.

It‘s pretty obvious to see God’s plan – take the sword to Ethiopia and Uganda, take the sword to New Orleans. But it seems like the WHO thinks they too are gods, but the real God has much much more time, and an infinite amount of money.

Yo – Sam – invest in a thesaurus – hardly illustrative of your intellect when all you can use is explitives. And to answer your “question” – it is because there are at least 10 righteous people left in this country (hint – story of Sodom & Gommorah) – otherwise all would have been wiped out long ago. Perhaps a reading of Jeremiah is also in order….

The majority of Negros’ feel the same as Jackson. Most are in no position to articulate it. The atmosphere in which he lives and the charmed life he leads grants him the security to speak out without constraint. Too bad. His ignorance is on display as is his hatefulness. He questioned why Gos spared the GOP. Maybe because the opposition is so Godless.

If they want to use their celebrity status to promote or broadcast their ideas then I will hold it against them if I find it strongly offensive. These so-called celebrities have to be made aware that there are consequences when they go out at wish death or similar hateful things on other people.

Cpnventions are held in August, which is also hurricane season. Given that you are going to have 1 hurricane a month or maybe two enter the Caribbean Sea. so there is a 25%to 50% chance that one is going to hit somewhere along the American seaboard unless it falls apart & subside into a tropical storm or depression.

So what is the GOP suppose to do. Not hold a convention in any southern coastal city because the liberal press & liberal intelligentsia (an oxymoron to be sure) will all be abuzz about the implications of hurricane coinciding with a convention.

Liberals never let a chance to be superstitious go to waste.

Celebrity opinion sways people’s opinion in the theatrical realms, commercially & politically.

Movie companies know this and pay some actors up to 20 million per movie.
Madison Avenue knows this & pay them to endorse a product.
Politicians knows this & court them.

So what Samuel Jackson thinks is news whether he is right or wrong. A person has to be aware of the environment in which they operate.

The use of the word ‘aint’ plus the sophomoric tone was meant to parody the religious zealots who actually give credence to the idea that some mythical man, living in the clouds, changes the atmospheric conditions to thwart those whose only sin is that they require proof before believing in fairy tales.

Because the thug has no clue about God. Although, I have not checked into his religious background, he is probably atheist, because, in those Hollyweird circles, it’s “cool” to be atheist or some other God-less religion. He doesn’t suspect he is just a useful idiot, a pawn, in Satan’s plan.
We are, (most of us) are whitey and are not worth our lives.

Every role Sam Jackson plays is the “Angry Black Man” in real life he plays an angry black man. He is overly casted in films, a sell out, just for that persona, I can count the number of films I have skipped because this hack has a lead part in it. He has come out on his own using his celebrity and made racist, ignorant, hateful remarks in the past. To Sammy Jacksons credit, he was well casted for the film Pulp Fiction, that does not earn him credit to being intelligent enough to speak on social matters or a spokesperson for anything.

Well, I’m an atheist, but I would say this: God spares Hollyweird all the time, so why would he go after the GOP in Florida?

If you are an atheist, why do you think God would do anything?
