Former GOP presidential candidate Rick Santorum joined Glenn Beck Thursday morning to do something he rarely does — endorse a political candidate. Noting the lack of sand-out contenders running for office who are knowledgeable, articulate, and demonstrate stellar leadership skills in equal measure, Santorum made it a point to share with Beck’s audience, his support for Texas senatorial candidate, Ted Cruz.
Cruz is second-favorite to the front-runner, the Lieutenant Governor David Dewhurst, who is outspending the underdog four-to-one. Santorum told Beck that he gravitates to those who may not have the most to spend, but the most to offer and characterized Cruz’s oratory skills and depth of knowledge “spellbinding.”
The Tea Party favorite has also been endorsed by David Barton, FreedomWorks PAC, Senators Rand Paul and Jim DeMint, Congressman Ron Paul and former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.

Posted on May 24, 2012 at 7:51pmYour statement is as insane as you are. You are not qualified to even type the names of the two patriots you mentioned. Grow up and move out of mommies basement, get a job and then comment only on things you at least have a little knowledge of.

Posted on May 24, 2012 at 3:26pmKnowing that Ted Cruz will likely win the Seante race I imagine, that Santorum wanted to endorse Cruz before Sarah Palin to give him endorsements some creds…

Posted on May 24, 2012 at 8:45pmPalin has built a record of going against the RINOs and establishment.
Murdock (Indiana), Fischer (Nebraska), Angle (Nevada), and O’Donnell (Connecticut).
Most people blame her for not choosing the “moderate” and “win-able” candidates and then others (like you) accuse her always choosing the RINO.
Get your facts straight before posting. Here’s the endorsement tracker:

Posted on May 24, 2012 at 2:24pm“Noting the lack of sand-out contenders …”
… Santorum decided to endorse someone who’s first name began with a T. He will now be called Ed Cruz, as the T has gone to make him a STAND-out contender, rather than a SAND-out one.
