Santorum: Gay Community Has ‘Gone Out on a…Jihad’ Against Me

Santorum Claims LGBT Jihad Against Him

Former Pennsylvania Senator and Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum feels that the gay community has waged a “jihad” against him. Santorum made the comments to a group in Spartanburg, S.C. on Friday:

“So the gay community said, ‘He’s comparing gay sex to incest and polygamy, how dare he do this,’ and they have gone out on a, I would argue, jihad against Rick Santorum since then.”

Throughout the primary campaign, Santorum has staked himself as the most steadfast social conservative in the field of Republicans vying for a chance to face-off against President Obama in 2012. The Hill reports on Santorum’s past positions in regards to LGBT issues:

“Santorum (R-Pa.) has been an outspoken critic of both Lawrence v. Texas, a 2003 Supreme Court decision that struck down state sodomy laws, and state laws that allow gay marriage.

‘This is a napkin. A napkin is what a napkin is. It isn’t a paper towel. It isn’t a car.’ You can call a napkin a car, but it doesn’t make it a car. You can call a paper towel a chair, but it doesn’t make it a chair. Marriage is what marriage is,’ Santorum said.

Comments like this have brought particular ire to Santorum in the gay community. In 2003, Santorum argued that the ‘definition of marriage’ has never included ‘man on child, man on dog, or whatever the case may be.’”

But aside from a fourth place finish in the Ames Iowa Straw Poll, Santorum’s campaign has stayed in the periphery of most polls and media attention. And despite Ron Paul’s complaints about a lack of media coverage, a study from the Pew Research Center’s Project for Excellence in Journalism shows that only Hermain Cain has received less media attention than Rick Santorum among the 11 Republicans running for President.  Minnesota Rep. Thad McCotter was not in the study.

“Jihad” or not, perhaps this explains why the most outspoken social conservative among Republicans running for president is yet to be “Glitter Bombed” by the gay community. It could be that the LGBT community may not be aware of his campaign.

People; it does not matter what you or I think about the matter of homosexuality, adultery, fornication or any other sin.
What matters is what our Creator thinks about these behaviors.
From the beginning of human history, the majority have refused to pay any attention to what our God has suggested and look at the results. Mankind has never been so depraved as they are now. Even Sodom and Gomorrah was child play compared to the filthy sink we are now in.
Oh, I know there are many good and I can even say righteous people on this earth, but we all know we are in serious trouble in the eyes of our Almighty, Righteous God.

Good day my brother, I would like to add that so many are putting their faith in some political candidate, for them, to come to our rescue and save us from the insanity consuming the nation and the world.

They should be looking to our Lord and King Jesus to do this. He is the one with the authority and the power to accomplish what a silly politician can not. Pray for God’s Kingdom! – Matthew 6:9-10

      @TheBMT Ying’s a racist.
#1 There is nothing in the Bible which prohibits interracial marriage. The Israelites were instructed not to intermarry with the Canaanites when they entered the land, but if you go back and read the table of nations in Genesis, you’ll see that God was telling the decendants of Shem not to marry those of his brother Ham, not a lot of difference between them. Meanwhile, God had no rebuke for Moses marrying an African woman from Cush (Ethiopia) and punished his sister Miriam with head-to-toe whiteness from leoprasy for a whole day for whipping up opposition to Moses on this account. #2 Nowhere are Sodom and Gomorrah condemned for interracial marriages, but outside of the Genesis account we are told that they were guilty of hording food while the poor went hungry (Ezekiel 16:49) as well as their sexual perversions (Jude 1:7).

Why is it that people who would normally be loving “Christians” find so much hate for gays. I too disapprove of their lifestyle but that boat has sailed my friends. Outlaw it? Criminals? Give me a flippin great. Sinners? Maybe that’s for God to decide. The freedom that comes with being an American means allowing freedoms that you may not agree, cuts both ways.

I have watched a normally conservative GOP push too hard on social issues that do nothing more than push away voters by being too “religious”. Candidates that would be fiscally superior often are passed over because pro life anti gay flame and other one issue voters hijack the platform and polarize the electorate, stupid. We need to do what the Libs do, tone it down until we get power and then BOOM!

Win now and negotiate the terms of surrender later. Straighten out the finances and secure a conservative SCOTUS and Federal courts for years to come and then make some real changes.

      @ Mr Ookspay
Sorry Sir, if you are going to tell me what God wants, likes, or dislikes, you will have to quote Bible, as that is the standard, and that way that God communicates with us. You are entitled to your own opinions, but not your own truth or facts.

Homosexuals destroy nations. It is not only Biblical, it is historical.

The Bible clearly states that God hates sin. Thus the word “Holy”. A Holy God, recognizes sin. The Bible clearly states that homosexuality is a sin. I will not vote for a leader that does not shun homosexuality. I am not interested in appeasing 1-2% of the population that is evil, and is an abomination to the God I serve.

If you would read your Bible, you will clearly see that the New Testament also speaks against homosexuality. Read the first chapter of the book of Romans.

If you think Jesus was easy on sin, you obviously do not understand the Bible, understand Jesus, or why he was curcified.

Jesus loved sinners (which I am), and hated the sin.

If you are going to debate with me, you will have to do better than this.

      Thanks, have a nice day.

@rangerp “Jesus didn’t speak about homosexuality” is a favorite cop-out which you need to address as well.

The answer is that Jesus upheld a ‘heteronormative’ view of marriage which has its roots in God’s desire to see his image reflected within holy matrimony (Matthew 19:5) and He also upheld the moral teachings of the law in which God declared homosexual activity an abomination. Matthew 5:17-20:

“Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.”

Christians uphold God’s moral law and are under attack for doing so. If we respond, we are accused of “hate.” After years of being attacked and misrepresented, it is all too human to allow real hate to develop in response so we need to be careful and guard against that.

Rick has taken moral stands against gay marriage that are, per usual, a HUGE threat to gays, some of whom of the loudest live on either coast (Rachel Madcow, Dan Pervert Savage) and are EXTREME gay radicals who don’t care who they offend. If Rick would offer a plan on how gays could be legally allowed to provide financial/medical/legal property benefits to their partners, alot of this acrimonious debate would cease. Stop persecuting gays. And stop retaliating against the Moral Majority with hateful invective. We need a smart, legal solution to stop this oceans-of-emotion crazed debate. The stereotypes of both gays and Tea Partiers are torturing me.

A partial statement by the group reads:

“Stigmatizing and stereotyping minor-attracted people (”minor-attracted people”..don’t you love those liberal-elitist euphemisms?) inflames the fears of minor-attracted people (never mind the fears of the parents of the minors who are “attractive” to the “minor-attracted people” right?), mental health professionals and the public, without contributing to an understanding of minor-attracted people of the issue of child sexual abuse.”

“B4U-ACT’s aim is allegedly to create “tolerance” for people who are sexually attracted to children. ”

Why…it sounds uncannily similar to the campaign of homosexual advocacy groups doesn’t it Thomasdopey? “LGBT” community. “Safe Schools” and Czars for those “safe schools” who happen to be homosexuals themselves. States like California issuing orders to include homosexual “achievements” in the school cirriculum. So how do you explain male, homosexual pedophiles? There are entire underground industries based on homosexual men being able to get access to male children. Obama’s very own “Czar of safe schools”- Kevin Jennings- formed a group called GLSEN which advocates teaching extreme sex acts to school-age children. Jennings is a homosexual who in his capacity as a teacher did not report a boy he believed was under age at the time having sexual liasons with much older men.
Nice try champ but homosexual pedophiles are rife in the homosexual communty.
Furthermore, Santorum should be applauded, he’s got the guts to stand up to “Gay Inc.” which is an ultra-militant lobby group that sets out to destroy anyone that goes against their agenda. It’s time to stop coddling homosexuals and call them out on their creepy little community.

      Gerk,

“So how do you explain male, homosexual pedophiles?”

You do know that all homosexuals aren‘t pedophiles and all pedophiles aren’t homosexual right?? You have grown men that have sex with under-aged girls, or do you think that’s o.k. as long as they’re heterosexual? See you on the right tend to try to put homosexuals in the same category as pedophiles to make your argument sound more substantial. It’s like when you guys use footage of a partial birth abortion to advocate against all abortion! Pedophilia, and partial birth abortions are both illegal in this country, so save it!

“which is an ultra-militant lobby group that sets out to destroy anyone that goes against their agenda.”

Their agenda being, they just want the rights afforded to them as stated in the constitution! That’s just creepy!!! LOL!

All the actual double blind studies have shown categorically that they aren’t born that way, it’s a learned behavior brought on by the environment you are raised. Pedophilia is just part of the the movement, they want admit it in public, but with out it, the homosexual community would wither and die.

You must also support the work of Dr Fred Berlin at Johns Hopkins who, along with a few other colleagues, is trying to have the “stigma” removed from pedophilia. They tend to think that pedophiles should be allowed to have relations with minors as long as it’s consenting. After all, these folks are just born that way so why not normalize it, right? They would also like to also remove it as a clinical diagnosis in the DSM V so that it is considered an “alternative behavior” such as homosexuality and exhibitionism, which could have dire consequences as far as child protection and sexual offender laws go. But hey, it‘s all good since they’re born that way…..

Thomasdroppedatbirth…yes I’m aware that not all homosexuals are pedophiles. I’m also aware that pedophiles target young girls. I was reponding to Liberalmarine’s post warning not to equate homosexuality with pedophilia..when in fact there’s is a genuine concern connecting the two. However, you being the shrill bomb-hurler you are, you didn’t address any of the facts I posted. Kevin Jennings (Obama’s “Czar of safe schools”) indeed helped found GLSEN (a homosexual advocacy group) which today endorses teaching school age children extreme sex acts like “fisting”. Jennings has distanced himself from that endorsement. However when one recalls that as a teacher, he didn’t report a young boy he believed to be underage at the time that was having sexual liasons with much older men..then his distancing himself from GLSEN’s school agenda fails to be very credible, wouldn’t you say?
What‘s actually creepy Thomasdon’tknowmuch, is you ignored all that and went into your conditioned and Pavlovian defense of “Gay Inc.” Good dog…

You know what your problem is Thomasdropkick? You bleat before you think. I was clear in stating that Kevin Jennings was under the impression that the boy he was protecting from authorities was underage when the events took place. The boy (now a young man) has since stated that he was of legal age of consent at the time. It doesn’t change the fact that Jennings himself though, has written that he believed the boy was underage at the time. So from Kevin Jennings’ perspective at the time this took place, the boy was under age and meeting with older homosexual men for sex and Jennings made a conscious decision not to report the boy’s activities. It’s not difficult Thomasdunderhead..but it is for you apparently. Jennings is a homosexual himself and helped found GLSEN. Obama has made him the Orwellianly named “Czar of safe schools”. This isn’t “debunked emails” Thomasdenyitall. This is fact. If your reading and comprehension aren’t up to an acceptable level then you have my sympathy.
Then again..your written skills do leave a lot to be desired- case in point: “Seems like you need to pull more than your fist out you’re a$$!”. Expanding the contraction “you’re”, you have written “Seems like you need to pull more than your fist out you are a$$!”. Keep trying to convince yourself that you’re smarter than anyone here Thomasdope but let me offer you a backhoe for that hole you keep digging for yourself.

But this gay poster said he wanted acceptance by society at large. So the social wars go on. It is not about inheritance or hospital visitation. I have libertarian leanings. It is their money & not mine. Hospital visits is about freedom of association. But promoting gay culture at school, etc that is a non starter. That will segregate schools and society.

There is nothing to being gay except instant self gratification. No one has demonstrated that there are gay gene(s). It is all sham. What I meant by 3 consenting adults is polygamy. How do you feel about that? I am mostly libertarian, I just want the government out of my business. I will not push my Christian morals on nonbelievers. Why should I? God does not, nor has ever, blessed the USA. He blesses believers. Government cannot legislate morality. The only point where I diverge from this is abortion. Murder is against the law and abortion is murder.

You want God out of your society? Fine! Good riddance to you also! Do not be surprised when your society goes down the crapper. It is happening now and it is blatantly evident what the root problem is. Christians offer the way out. Nonbelievers cannot see this from inside a Christian society, but the church grows stronger when persecuted. This is all according to God’s plan. There will either be revival or tribulation. Either way, it is coming fast.

Yeah Thomasdaddy, I think we pretty much agree here. You cannot legislate morality, however, you cannot have an “everything goes” society and not expect it to have bad consequences. I heard an analogy in the last couple days about how in the 1950′s the I Love Lucy show had to have separate beds in the bedroom and still fought the censors about that. Look where we are today, I see things on prime time family channels I would not have believed 30 years ago. Should we draw a line? And where do we draw it?

But you are right, it all begins in the home and this is where Christians have lost the battle. Who cares what school or church teaches? The teaching at home SHOULD have priority in your children’s minds.

Offending someone’s sensibility is one thing. Legislating what they are able to do with a consenting adult behind closed doors in another. If they never showed Lucy and Ricky’s bedroom we would have all assumed they had one bed, its only when people want to peek where they have no business being that they have their sensibilities offended. THOMASDADDY – I have to say this about homosexuality being condoned, sanctioned, made acceptable, etc. by the government. One of the roles of government is to provide for the common good of society. Let me explain how homosexuality is in stark contrast to the good of society:

      1. Homosexuality leads to the extinction of the human race (no procreation possible).
      2. Homosexuality leads to severely increased incidents of communicable diseases and a shortened life span.
      3. Homosexuality does not provide what is scientifically and socially accepted as the best environment to raise families (although adoptive). Families are the core foundation of society.
      4. “Marriage” is not just a Sacrament and a religious institution, it is a societal institution that must be upheld in order to continue a healthy society. Homosexuality does not fit this definition.

      My belated response.

Thomasdaddy, If “their Creator” is just a religious belief that should have no influence on government, then there are no unalienable rights.

If “their Creator” is the Creator written of in the Bible as inspired by the Holy Spirit, and I have no reason to think otherwise, then we should also know what our Creator has to say about the role of government.

If “their Creator” is the Creator written of in the Bible as inspired by the Holy Spirit, and I have no reason to think otherwise, then we should also know what our Creator has to say about the role of government and the practice of homosexuality.
The only laws of liberty are the laws that are both of man and God. Practicing sin is a reproach to any people. Look around you. Do you see any improvement with the freedom to sin? Righteousness exalts a nation. This righteousness is not of men. It is the righteousness of God that is ascribed to men who by faith in the good news of redemption, turn away from practicing sin and its deadly consequences, both temporal and eternal.

The subject of good government and God are inseparable. Our limited form of government recognizes that no one can be forced to believe because the Creator does not force anybody to believe. We are not animatrons. All have the God given right to chose between heaven and hell. But no one has the right to chose hell for others and certainly not for those who are in Christ.

Contrary to worldly religious thought, Jesus is very much alive with all authority on both heaven and earth. He is not a pacifist. The Creator is not religion. The religious traditions of men along with man made righteousness are powerless to save. As He said, they will exhibit a form of godliness but will deny the power thereof.

I’ll leave this for you all to decide for yourselves, so here goes:

Scientific assumptions = common denominators for a specific activity.
Homosexuality has a common denominator = no future human race.

Q: Does a person who is heavily invested in, promoting and justifying an activity that would achieve no future human race actually seclude this attitude to the bedroom only?

They try to shove down everyone’s throat. I don’t think most Americans care what two adults do in their bedroom, straight or gay. The problem is gays want you to approve of what they are doing. They want laws passed that no one can say that what they do is wrong.

They want more than that. They want to force you to say they are right, they want to force you to celebrate them. The day may come when, like Haman in the book of Esther that they may want to legislate deference to them. It’s not equality they seek, but privilege.

Yes, just look at their comments on the youtube video itself. And how MANY dislikes, its like there is a PACK of them that go around and DISLIKE videos and it is done worldwide, as a pack, linked on blogs, etc., and they think people can’t see through this? The only reason there are not more positive comments on that vid for Rick S. is because they probably don’t want their youtube videos DISLIKED as a consequence of getting on a GAY HATE BOMB LIST, designed to shut down conservative thought.

It comes as no surprise. Actual same-sex attractions is clearly a very serious mental disorder. However, many more people simply CHOOSE to engage in this disordered behavior so they can be different. The whole point is to do something to get attention, they want to be a “victim”. Of course mentally disturbed people will attack those who dare point out that what they are CHOOSING to do is wrong. I do not know what else I would expect from sexual deviants.

Just as the Christian community as a whole does not want our nation turned ino a theocracy, the whole of the “gay community” does not want to impose their lifestyle onto you. These people are socialists first that happen to be gay.

It is was it is. Most people probably believe that this is a disease or that people are born with this attraction to the same sex. We have had it flaunted in our faces for so many years that we forget that God would NOT create a soul who could not do anything to correct what He obviously hates. If God loved this perversion why would He take the time to wipe out Sodom & Gomorrah? It makes common sense to me that then this perversion must be a choice and not one that God approves of. Satan the father of the Kenites may approve of this perversion. I don’t know what do you think?

People are all different we all have different weaknesses and perversions. Homosexuality is just one of many sexual perversions that can manifest itself in some. There are many whose weakness is heterosexual sex. Lust is a common sin. Nothing more to it than that.

One sick freak gay in San Fransicko even has managed to get Santorum to show up on google as being referenced to some disgusting gay sex matter. It doesn’t matter that he is in the public eye, how many of you would be able to handle that without freaking out, without physically attacking the piece of garbage who did that to you? It is actually the other way around. The Gay community was reacting to a multi-year unapologetic and take no prisoners out and out assault from Senator Santorum. I guess they felt turn around is fair play.

But who cares what the well organized GLBT Community thinks.

But you’re right, the gblt community is at best 7% of the population, maybe 10%. Unless you ask the liberals how many of them there are, then it’s higher. But the people who call themselves that is low. Why should 7-10% of the population control the rest? I thought “democracy” was majority rules. I guess they should get behind the fact that we’re a republic.
