Santorum Glitter-Bombed by Occupy Charleston After SC Speech

Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum has distinguished himself in the GOP primary by appealing to conservative-minded blue-collar voters, separating himself from rivals like Mitt Romney who many commentators expect would be hammered on in the general election as a supporter for and part of “the 1 percent.” Despite often referencing his labor roots from western Pennsylvania mining country, Occupy Charleston still doesn’t like him.
Members of Occupy Charleston “glitter-bombed” Santorum at the tail end of his post-primary speech at the Citadel Saturday night.

MSNBC reports that the occupiers were mostly College of Charleston students, and shouted “Occupy!” whiling throwing green glitter in the direction of Santorum.
Glitter-bombing is a form of protest carried out by extreme LBGT activists against opponents of same-sex marriage, and has become fairly commonplace throughout the campaign. Santorum was first glitter-bombed on January 1 in Iowa, and there have been previous attacks on Newt Gingrich, Michele Bachmann,and former candidate Tim Pawlenty.
The protester was escorted out of the auditorium after being pushed away from the presidential candidate. Live 5 caught the glitter-bombing and ensuing scuffle on video:

You can’t even say the word *** anymore without it being censored. I saw a tv show on cable the other day, and someone said ***, and they silenced it out. It’s not a curse word you know.
They don’t even allow you to say homosexual anymore. It is what they all are. But this “call good evil and evil good thing” is the norm now. They want it all portrayed as a gay happy lifestyle that is integrated as the norm into society.
Santorum should sue them and press criminal charges. For once, if one candidate would just do the right thing, and be completely right wing conservative in all ways, they wouldn’t believe what God would bless in their elections.

I’ll also second my support against the Blaze censoring so heavily and also being so free to get rid of anyone who voices concerns about the Blaze editorial folks. Don’t say anything negative about the articles that hurt the writers or editors feelings – you might (likely) get banned from posting. Related to that, it‘s been nice posting with y’all. Rumors say that Eleanor Roosevelt, Oscar Wilde and some of our greatest artists, actors, dancers etc were gay. Everyone knew it, noone cared. The reason its an issue now is because the gay organizations have made it an issue. They don’t want equal rights, they want special rights. Noone is rounding them up, hell its even fashionable to be gay. Look at Anne Hecht who “tried” it for awhile. No this is the gays insisting that I applaud their sexual proclivities. I wouldn’t dream of discussing my sex life in public, why do they think its any of my business who or what they are shacking up with??? We have a guy in our community that does rude things with horses. As long as he stays away from mine I could care less. Should we change the marriage laws because he likes mares??? No. Sleep with another consenting adult, adults or what have you. But marriage is between a man and a woman designed for the protection of the children that that marriage produces. How is censoring comments that aren’t breaking any rules promoting truth? It could very well be a simple mistake, and therefore bringing it to their attention would allow them to correct it. However, Glenn Beck and the Blaze likes to portray itself as liberty oriented, and censorship of comments which do or do not toe a certain agenda is not in congruence with the values they perpetrate. I’ve been censored numerous times.

My point is, you can‘t say that marriage originated from the Bible when realistically it’s not. Also, it’s in the new Testament when marriage is first introduced(in the Bible), not when talking about a man lying with a man. People point to Genesis as “marriage being between a man and a woman.”

Considering the definition of marriage being the holy union of man and woman under god. The big difference though in translation, and where you fail, is “god”. In the original untranslated definition of marriage, the name of god is used and not a generic term, like god. As someone else said, throwing some glitter on someone won‘t get them to change their views or even open up a rational discussion so you’re essentially doing that just to piss them off.
