“We have a president who doesn’t understand what America is all about,” he said. “…President Obama is the new King George III.”

Posted on September 23, 2011 at 2:49pmThat’s a great reason to not support him… he’s whiny. Don‘t mention he’s trustworthy, knows his issues, doesn’t have to memorize and spout off talking points. Lets look at some substance people. I can’t believe open border Perry is everyones top pick or Obama lite Romney. Lets try and look at positions and character and not worry about him being whiny.

Posted on September 23, 2011 at 11:10amGeorge III? Jeez, Rick, is this the best you can do? Presidents from Washington to Jackson to Lincoln to both Roosevelts to Nixon to Reagan have been accused of harboring monarchical, not to say tyrannical, intent. But those were all strong, assertive characters, which Obama most definitely is not.

Posted on September 23, 2011 at 1:55pmObama’s financial backers are calling the shots. They are the strong assertive ones. However, with Obama in the Oval Office, he is the one to whom we must send our Petition of Grievances. When he ignores it, then, as with King George, he must be delivered a Declaration of Independence. Then we must simply ignore him and his radicals, while each state declares its sovereignty. Citizens of each state can decide whether to keep the present governor, or elect a new one. The militia of each state must be prepared to defend their borders.

But only some wealthy arab could buy him. OH, wait he bows to them so that would be okay.

Everyone on that stage was saying the same thing. Santorum would freak out if he ever had an original thought..that is, if he recognized it. His drive to make for marriage laws and being a dictator to other countries tells me clearly that the only problem he has with having a dictator in the White House is it not being him.

The Mighty King Poobah, Grand-Master, Potentate, High-wizard, Prime Minister, Director, Pope, Doge, Lord Protector, Imperator, Dictator, Caliph, Sultan, Sheikh, obama …
BUT…
ONLY IF he felt that title could possibly live up to his ego.

.
I saw a HILARIOUS homemade sign during the 2008 election…
It simply said, “OBMA”
Kinda told me who was voting for him. All in one succinct, misspelled, word.
I’ve got a picture somewhere. I’ll have to dig it out.
.
Rick is right. But, it is not just obama…
Most of our elected officials never knew, or, they fogot the second they crossed the beltway.
Likewise, the entire entitlement class of America does not understand what America is about. NO, not everyone who receives welfare. By ‘welfare class,’ I refer to the habitual and/or even multi-generational welfare recipients who have chosen it as a way of life.
Report Post »What a horrible way of life! Never achieving, accepting crumbs in exchange for votes. Never having goals. What kind of HOPE could people possibly ever have when all they want in life is more handouts? That’s not hope, that is covetousness and envy!
.
.
.
These would make better debate questions, I think…
Questions like, “Is it Constitutional to take from 1 man and give to another?”
“Do we have Constitutional Property Rights?”
“Is the Patriot Act Constitutional?”
“How would you change the Constitution?”
.

I know it is temporary: “The Holy God of Israel doth not slumber or sleep…” Only He knows each heart/motives. Posted on September 23, 2011 at 8:49amHe’s book smart, but that’s about as far as it goes. Also, his motives are intentional. He won’t rest until he brings the middle class down to the lower class level. This has worked for him tremendously well thus far with the large amount of wealth that has been stripped of the middle class via housing and retirement savings. Throw perennially high unemployment into the mix to top it off, and I’d say The Marxist will be able to confidently proclaim when he leaves office, “Mission accomplished!!!”

Posted on September 23, 2011 at 12:15pm@HAUSCHILD: You are exactly right. Obama has surrounded himself with like-minded socialists and has every intention of bringing our country down to third world status. He was brainwashed by socialists / communists during childhood and on into college. He even married a female (biiologically but not a woman) that does not like America. His plan has been very successful and we may not survive the rest of his first term in office. Pray to God that he and his ilk can be stopped.

One of the best things said tonight, not to mention Johnson’s shovel ready comment! I have been arguing for sometime that we are right back in the 1770′s, where exactly Im not sure, and that we in fact really have 535+ King George’s to deal with aka DC.
One other great thing that resurfaced multiple times is where several of the candidates attacked Emperor Obamas policies. Its clear these policies only hurt this nation and the candidates desire to undo everything he has done to this nation their first day in office…. if they get elected.
We are 14mos away anything can happen between now and then. Im very concerned with the continuing support the Emperor has from the uneducated, unengaged, uninformed zombie drone army. They still insist on giving him the benefit of the doubt. Excuses continue to fly of Bush/GOP/conservatives/Wall St and newly added TEA parties fault. That they will vote for him again to make things right, it takes 4 yrs to undo the damage the right has done and he needs the other 4 to fulfill his promises. I could go on but needless to say its scary of how much support he has. As for the polls I do not care what they say there are so many not factored in, like I said anything can happen btwn now and Nov ‘12. Hope we last that long… look at how much we have changed in just 3 yrs!! http://SavingtheRepublic.com

Posted on September 23, 2011 at 6:21amObumbler is ruling by regulations from his cabinet and by executive order. If congress won’t pass a bill he favors he does an end run by having DOE, HHS, etc make a regulation that accomplishes the goal. NLRB telling Boeing it can’t build a plant because the state is a right to work state.
Report Post »Congress has to get off its A** and take back control of its function and take power away from these idiots. New light bulbs, close coal fired electric plants, stop drilling in the gulf, ignore court orders to let the oil companies drill. All of these cost jobs while the government (DOL) counts bus drivers as “Green Jobs”.
The left wing of the Democratic party wants to make him a King and if they can pull it off they will start with riots and looting in the inner cities. The usual ones will agitate from a safe place. Look at whats happening right now – be careful America – lock and load,
Stock up on food water and ammo.

Posted on September 23, 2011 at 12:22amWow… all negative comments? I like Rick Santorum. Do people honestly think Perry or Romney are better conservatives? Furthermore, Santorum’s comments were not exactly an “un-analogous metaphor”. King George III believed himself to be a royal highness above the state and above the people – which is fine, that is what a monarch is, but our Declaration of Indepedance stood for the prospect that all men are greated equal, and that rights are not created by a government or by a single man, but are instead bestowed upon us all by God. I think the analogy to Obama is fitting in that Mr. Obama seems to think himself above the American people. He certainly believes that rights come not from God, but from Government. He doesn’t believe people are the solution, he believes government is, and he is the head of our government (at least the most active branch of the government). So, follow the progression, Obama believes government is the solution to all problems, Obama is the head (more or less) of the government, Obama believes he is the solution to all problems. He has the same disdain for the people of this country that King George had. The analogy is right on.

Maybe among other things…
“The grievances in the United States Declaration of Independence were presented as ”repeated injuries and usurpations” that he (King George III) had committed to establish an “absolute Tyranny” over the colonies.” Taken from Wikipedia.

Posted on September 23, 2011 at 1:08amThe opinion of the people who advocated, and successfully carried, a revolution against King George III was that he was a tyrant–duh!
There opinion that King George III was a tyrant, or the implied one that Obama is a tyrant (and therefore similar to King George III) is just that–an opinion. The unsurprising belief of the writers of the Declaration of Independence that King George III was a tyrant doesn’t necessitate that he was one anymore than the belief that Obama is a tyrant necessitates that HE is one. This is an opinion you are welcome to have, but one that is by no means a demonstrable and undeniable fact substantiated by incontrovertible evidence.
