Rick Santorum’s ill 3-year-old daughter Bella returned to the hospital Friday, his presidential campaign said.
“Rick and his wife Karen have taken their daughter Bella to the hospital. The family requests prayers and privacy as Bella works her way to recovery,” a Santorum campaign statement said, according to the Associated Press.
The campaign did not provide a reason for her hospitalization. She has the rare genetic condition Trisomy 18, which is typically fatal. Santorum has repeatedly said his daughter was not expected to live past a year.
Bella was previously hospitalized in January for pneumonia, prompting Santorum to temporarily put his campaign on hold. Santorum later said she made a “miraculous turnaround.”
According to the Associated Press, Santorum is spending several days off the campaign trail for Easter.
Bella is the youngest of the candidate’s seven children.

I try to have faith. If the Creator is capable of conversation, this creation (me) is going to demand some explation. Sorry, I’m not that humble to not still question.
Please: no bible versus. God surely must be capable of defending Himself to one of His lowely creatures…directly.

Posted on April 7, 2012 at 7:57pmmetalpatriot: God gets blamed for a lot of things, when the real enemy is satan. Satan comes to kill, steal, and destroy. We live in a fallen world. We will experience sickness, disease, and death until Jesus comes and makes things all right again. God does not bring evil upon us, nor does he tempt us. I imagine God weeps over how far man has fallen, and how faithless we have become.
Report Post »By Jesus stripes we were healed. There is healing for everyone, if we could only have faith enough to believe. Nothing is impossible with God! This is what Easter is all about. Jesus went to the cross with stripes on his back for our healing, and shed his blood on the cross for our salvation. Jesus is the only way to God. Before Jesus died He said, IT IS FINISHED. He fulfilled His calling, and accomplished the Father’s will. It is our place to accept the gift He gave us. Jesus loves little Bella, and it is in His power to bring her the same healing He promised us all! We are overcomers, because Jesus was an overcomer. We can ask for anything in Jesus name, and Jesus said it would be done for us by His Father in heaven…ask so that you may receive, so that your joy may be full.
Have a BLESSED EASTER! Pray for a miracle for little Bella.

Posted on April 7, 2012 at 4:58pmWow, I‘m disgusted by the political sharks on this board that are taking this sad instance to rip into Santorum’s politics. Obviously, your mamas never taught you one simple rule. If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all. She’s 3 years old and suffering, you revolting hags!! Would you go do this to her face? If so, you are the lowest form of life that dares to walk upright and call themselves human. How would you like it if your 3 year old were suffering, and all that some people can do is come slinking out of the woodwork to say nasty things.
Report Post »My prayers are twofold today. First and foremost, that God will touch this precious child and give her, as well as her family, comfort in this difficult time. Secondly, I pray for those that can‘t seem to pull their heads out of their backsides long enough to see that this isn’t about politics, but about a suffering 3 year old that is only involved in politics, because her daddy dared to run for office. May you and yours, never have to suffer this kind of heartbreaking difficulty.

Get behind Romney to defeat obama, and go home and take care of his daughter and family. He is such a family man, it is hard to think that running in a race he cannot win, is more important to him than his baby girl….

Kudos to Santorum, Gingrich and Paul for showing up what a joke Willard is. Willard can’t even manage 50% of the vote! Do you really think such an EXCEEDINGLY WEAK (Mark Levin’s words) will do anything against the Community Agitator in November? It ain‘t over till it’s over, and while April may be a good month for Willard primary-wise; May does NOT look good.

Posted on April 7, 2012 at 8:15pmbitterclinger: Thank you for that. I agree with you. The media, including fox news, pushed Romney on the Republicans, whether we agreed or not. The GOP is guilty as well. IF WE DO NOT ELECT SANTORUM OR GINGRICH, the American people are going to pay a high price. We have thrown under the bus the ONLY TWO CANDIDATES in this race that could have set this Country on its feet again. How stupid is that! The people are choosing THE WORST CANDIDATE to go up against Obama, and Romney will not beat him. Romney is TOO WEAK. God is not with Romney, because he is a cul***tist. I have now studied extensively San***dra Tan***ner’s website, and I am very concerned for America. Mor***monism is so like Islam that it is frightening…rituals, atonement killings, rites on marriage and baptism that are not found in Scripture, and I could go on and on. We are in trouble folks. We are headed for a train wreck, and God cannot go with us into the future unless we turn course. Don’t you all get that!? People can believe whatever they want, and I give them that, but in this case, it makes a difference when a person leads a nation, for how they believe governs how they will lead us into the future. I base my beliefs on knowing beyond a shadow of a doubt that we are God’s ancient Israelite people from the tribe of East Manasseh the man-of-war and West Manasseh the agriculturist. In that case…it will make a difference. God makes a distinctioin, and then so do I.

Posted on April 7, 2012 at 1:22pm@QPWILLIE He should drop out, because his wife and family need him. To continue to battle for an office he cannot win, while his daughter struggles for life, is very….disconcerting. Imagine a balancing scale, on one hand is the campaign for an office you will never hold, the other your daughter’s life…hmmmm. It shouldn’t even be a choice. If he is such a christian, and such a family man, he knows what he has to do, and the lord is showing him the way. So, if he does not listen, and the worst happens and he is not there, what then? Can a man that canot be by his daughter’s side in the time of need, be there for an entire country in their time of need?
