Sarah Palin Hits Back at HBO With ‘Game Change We Can Believe In’

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is hitting back at the upcoming HBO film “Game Change” with a video of her own, calling it “fiction” that “presents a history that never happened.”
Titled “Game Change We Can Believe In,” the nearly three-minute video zeroes in on actress Julianne Moore’s portrayal of Palin. It begins with Moore answering the phone, “This is Sarah,” and blasts back with the words, “No — this is Sarah” before moving to clips of Palin speeches and interviews.
“Game Change,” which premieres March 10, is based on the best-selling book of the same name about the 2008 presidential election. Written by journalists Mark Halperin and John Heilemann, the book devotes equal time to both the Democratic and Republican campaigns, but snippets of the HBO film released have focused almost exclusively on Palin. The trailer goes as far as to depict her as being on the “verge of a complete nervous breakdown” after being selected as John McCain’s running mate.
According to USA Today, Palin’s political action committee has asked HBO to air the film with the disclaimer that the work is fiction. HBO is standing by the film as “a balanced portrayal of the McCain/Palin campaign.”

Still, I’m angry at Sarah for not running herself. The ones that are left are hard pills to swallow but, for the primaries anyway, I can still pull the lever for Santorum else won’t vote in the primaries at all. :)

After that she rose to her level of incompetence although I have to admit she’s a dynamic speaker. And she makes tons of money now as an attractive contributer for FOX and speaking at conservative events. I think she has some brains, but knowledge of the world, and understanding the philosophical underpinnings of conservative thought, not so much, no matter how many times she says she’s in favor of “common sense conservatism” whatever that means.
She looks good and gives a good speech, but she’s more Homer Simpson than William F. Buckley.
