Sarah Palin: Newt Gingrich Ex-Wife Interview Will Help Him ‘Soar Even More’

Just hours away from ABC News’ highly anticipated broadcast of a potentially explosive interview with Newt Gingrich’s ex-wife, Marianne, Sarah Palin has come out swinging in defense of the GOP presidential candidate. The former Alaska Governor appeared on Sean Hannity’s radio show Thursday, noting that Gingrich will likely “soar even more” as a result of the interview, rather than be harmed by it.

“I call them dumbarses,” said Palin in reference to the media. “They, thinking that by trotting out this old Gingrich divorce interview that’s old news — and it does feature a disgruntled ex, claiming that it would destroy his campaign — all this does, Sean, is incentivize conservatives and independents who are so sick of the politics of personal destruction, because it’s played so selectively by the media, that their target, in this case Newt, he’s now going to soar even more. Because we know the game now, and we just won’t put up with it. Good call, media.”

Ah…patern behavior…Palin and “Todd” need to take a hike. Do you really want a psychopath as your President ….really. He asked his second to marry him before he told the first he wanted a devorice. I assure there were more women in Newt’s life than these 3. Now if we can just get Romney out of the way the coast is clear for Santorum.

Yeah, Newts big cost cutting conservative ideas are PROGRESSIVE, like how Obamacare is going to save us money ?? Newt was engineering pilot programs for medicare long before Romneycare or Obamacare. Newt is the reason my Mom no longer has a job. The company lost 23 million on Newts “Brainiac” idea. That’s why 600 nurses no longer have jobs and the company nearly went bankrupt. Mr Great Debater tricked the company into believing him, just like he got you so called conservatives fooled. The same ones who got us every progressive we had thus far. Get your stupid religious ideology’s out of view and look at who these people are. Don’t you fools realize the left wants to fight with Newt ?? That is the progressives game and they will win. Newt got run out of town last time he played with the big boy progressives, even with their financial backing now, he nothing but talk. He is so smart, just like the intellectual elite of the Left. Palin is a bigot, what else can explain her stance ?? I will never support her in any way ever again. You people supporting Newt brought me McCain last election and I am not going down quiet again. Those of you aligning behind your bigoted religious views can shove it, because that caused more damage than good last election. It brought us Obama, via, progressive McCain. I can’t believe after all Glenn taught about progressives, you still support Newt. Unbelievable. Palin has become a disappointment.

Question: What would a Republican primary be without the national media scheming to destroy one of the candidates?

      Answer: A Democrat primary.

With brazen disregard for journalistic ethics and a mere two days before the South Carolina primary, ABC News is going to air an interview tonight with Newt Gingrich’s ex-wife, allegedly complete with lurid details about her ex-husband’s sex life.

Not surprisingly, and in line with ABC’s long track record of double standard journalism, during the 1990’s ABC News refused to report Juanita Broaddrick’s allegations that President Bill Clinton sexually assaulted her.

Call ABC News right now. Let them know that this double standard is unacceptable.

Sarah HAD my respect and even appeared to identify with the Tea Party. I have known Newt for a long time. He is a FDR and Woodrow Wilson Progressive just like Hillary Clinton said that SHE was. He is a global warming embracer and has no morals. His only redeeoming quality is that he does the best at slapping people down in debates. That being said, his anti-capitalist agenda he apparently adopted due to jealousy over Romney SHOULD have really hurt his chances. Our only hope for a non progressive tea party type candidate now is Santorum since Bachman dropped out at the first sign of failure. These caucuses are whittling away at the field far before any other of the remaining 47 states yet to choose will have any say and leaves us with the worst choice for the candidate instead of a wide variety. Perry and Palin supporting Gingrich is ludicrously incredulous. They are NOTHING alike. Why not endorse Santorum? After their smear against Romney, I guess they felt they had no choice. Palin would have done better in a run had she tried and not endorsed McCain for his re-election. She has lost credibility with me and so should she with the tea party. Newt lost credibility back in the 90′s when he had his own sex scandals and admitted to smoking pot way back then so it would not be an issue when he eventually ran for president which he also said that he would NEVER do when I asked him about it. Newt is a PROGRESSIVE. That is why we cannot vote for him.

I just lost so much respect for Sarah. She used to speak for the Tea Party, but now she just seems to be looking to further her career just because Newt mentioned her as a VP choice. Newt talks like a Conservative in the debates, but I remember his sex scandals, the disgrace he brought to the Republican Party, and I’ve heard audios of him praising Wilson and FDR. Even his name reminds me of a slimy salamander. If she could support someone like this, then she is not who I thought she was. She wouldn’t even support Bachman who also represented the Tea Party. Santorum does not have the temperment to be president; his performances in the debates has been like a spoiled child not getting enough attention and wanting to throw mud at everyone. Ron Paul is just too nutty to be a serious candidate. By default, that leaves Romney, who is a successful businessman with a stable marriage. Mormans do not believe in polygamy – as some here have claimed – and his explanation of his pro-Life stance and reasons for Romneycare satisfy me. Unless someone who truely represents the Tea Party jumps in at the last minute – I’ll support Romney 2012. Sarah is history in my opinion – she’s begining to sound like the fruitcake the media has made her out to be.

Right is wrong and wrong is right, Evil is righteousness and righteousness is evil. How have we fallen so greatly to slap our Savior in the face?

Newt Gingrich is the most corrupt individual seeking the election. At least Obama has a puppetteer, but Gingrich is his own Satan.
“He without sin cast the first stone”…i could throw a brick and I’d have to stand in line. I don’t associate with men that would treat their most sacred relationship as he. He did it twice and deserted both women in the most vulnerable moment of disease.
And so many of you on this post honor him with your applause. He screams his positions of progressivisms and still you applaud. He warns you of whom he idolizes as a political model: Wilson, Roosevelts and you do not see this is commonintity between he and Obama.

I was having such hope, and once again the immorality which you people embrace rules your discernment. How any true believer of all things worthy of our nation could choose this sub-human over Santorum, Romney or Paul; men who show and esteem higher principles of fidelity and honor, only demonstrates you careless of the direction of our nation. Indeed, you are sealing its fate.

      Repent.

Choose righteously people. Quit discriminating over good moral standards. This choas we are enduring is not the way its suppossed to be. We can correct some of the hell we are endurring, at least slow it down to prepare more adequately. But not with Gingrich.

WOW I can’t believe that all of you are not smart enough to figure out why Palin said she would vote for Newt if she were a South Carolinian. What would have happened if Romney won South Carolina by double digits? The Republican primary race would be over or not go forth with any other debates or testing of Romney until he is up against Obama. In case you are unfamiliar with Obama’s campaign tactics when he is facing a tough election without any momentum to be had or any record to run with he finds a way to have his opposition removed from the ballot without any time for anything to be done about it by the other side therefore winning by default. Newt and Romeny are just as progressive as each other and Santorum has not been able to gain any momentum himself. Ron Paul scares people with his defense stance and there is no one else left on the stage. Cain was destroyed, Perry was inadequate, and Bachman couldn’t pull it off. It is our own faults this could have been a lot easier if we had put together a better crop of candidates not Palin’s fault.

So if Todd decided he preferred a different woman that Sarah, and he sought public office, then “republicans and conservatives” would be even more enthusiastic to support Todd, regardless of Sarahs perspective as the “disgruntled X”. The bible says that when a man puts away his covenant wife, he “deals treacherously” with her, and “covers his garment with violence”. Apparently, this is a reason for those who believe in morality, to flock to his side. One could be a good magistrate with regard to the law, and personally be an immoral man, but Mr Gingrich has violated his oath of office, and his marriage vows. Todds wife believes that he should “soar”, in spite of these facts. This is the classic gang warfare mentality; you fight for your team, regardless of the facts, becasue your enemy attacked them.

Actually, she is a very conservative REPUBLICAN. I don’t think she ever represented herself as anything else, it was all the tea party/libertarian freaks that tried to make her their spokeswoman. “Progressive” is a subjective term, does the belief in a basic social safety net and government involvement beyond a literal interpretation of the constitution make one a progressive? If yes then I wager the vast majority of people in here are progressive and may not even realize it.

Palin believes in government and would support such things as the FDA, welfare, SS, and projecting democracy throughout the world. Is that progressive? Does this surprise anyone?

@ TROLLTRAINER So whats wrong with the literal interpretation of the constitution? We started getting into trouble a century ago with all of these so called ‘rights’ that have somehow appeared in the constitution which aren’t there. Our government is so bloated and wasteful it’s disgusting,I can appreciate Sarah supporting welfare or FDA or any other useless department, none of them are constitutional and that’s the problem

Milton Friedman summed it up quite nicely: If the federal government were in charge of the Sahara desert it would be free of sand in five years. It’s immoral to tax one to pay for another, charities are for the poor and it isn’t the governments role. Also why would you want to spread mob rule throughout the world?

I never said anything was wrong with a literal interpretation of the constitution. I can sympathize with that argument and I am most definitely for a small federal government. However, I do believe in the basic safety net and other government programs designed to help those in need. I also realize that we have little choice but to be the world’s police, though I tend towards isolationism myself. It is never an all or nothing argument like Libertarians want to make. This is why Paul will never be elected. It is unfortunate because I feel he would actually be the nest president, much better than the other RINOs.

The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) was recently approved by an overwhelming majority of the Senate. It will place domestic terror investigations and interrogations into the hands of the military and which would open the door for trial-free, indefinite detention of anyone, including American citizens, so long as the government calls them terrorists. This law is diametrically opposed to the rights provided by the Constitution and opens the door to an effective police state. Forbes (of all magazines) describes it as the “greatest threat to liberties Americans face”. Here’s an article from The New American describing the law. http://www.infiltratednation.com/2011/12/national-defense-authorization-act.html
