Saturday Night Live Introduces ‘Lil Poundcake,’ the HPV Vaccine Doll

Saturday Night Live Introduces Lil Poundcake, the HPV Vaccine DollSaturday Night Live used the recent controversy over Texas Gov. Rick Perry’s executive order mandating HPV vaccinations to introduce Lil Poundcake…the vaccine-administering doll for girls.

She looks so cool with her clothing and cell phone, but just wait for her syringes to extend and shoot you up when you least expect it! You could be playing outside, having a tea party or even fast asleep. With Lil Poundcake, you’ll never have to worry about HPV again — just remember to dispose of her in a medical waste container at your local hospital when you’re done playing.

“Lil Poundcake…the only thing you’re going to get infected with — is fun!”

this is true… in 88 waynes world was introduced, mike, dana, jan, phil, dennis, john etc… that was the last good cast. Phil Hartman was probably one of the most underratted people in television and his voice was perfect for so many things, loved him on the simpsons and futurama …

      Damn you Andy Dick!
Hartman‘s friend and former SNL colleague Jon Lovitz has accused Hartman’s former NewsRadio co-star Andy Dick of re-introducing Brynn (hartmans wife) to cocaine, causing her to relapse and suffer a nervous breakdown. Dick claims to have known nothing of her condition.[49] In 2006, Lovitz claimed that Dick had approached him at a restaurant and said, “I put the Phil Hartman hex on you; you’re the next one to die.”[50][51] The following year at the Laugh Factory comedy club in Los Angeles, Lovitz and Dick had a further altercation over the issue.[51] Dick does not believe he is at fault in relation to Hartman’s death.[49]

This is why I havn‘t watched since the late 70’s. After Chevy, Dan, Jane, etc. left, Jim died the show has sucked. Not that they were conservative. They have tried to make up for the suck by pulling crap like this. It’s not funny, hasn’t been for a long time. I’ve been saying they should just bring the old old reruns back and dump these current loosers. People…….If you are holding your nose and watching it stop! Just like movies, Don’t go and pay to see these movies with these commie actors. I can’t stand these so called conservitives that say “well I don’t like his (or her) pollotics but it was a movie I wanted to see”….B.S. I know of a then 22 year old who got this shot. She canme down with first stage uterine or cervical cancer..the thing that this vaccine is supposed to guard against. Their answer to her was that there are several strains of this type cancer. That’s a good way to experiment and avoid liability.

      @Stuck,
Stop cherry picking data to validate your stupid idea that vaccines are bad. Go to the CDC for information from scientists. Quote from the CDC…As of June 22, 2011, approximately 35 million doses of Gardasil® were distributed in the U.S. and VAERS received a total of 18,727 reports of adverse events following Gardasil® vaccination: 17,958 reports among females and 346 reports for males, of which 285 reports were received after the vaccine was licensed for males in October 2009. VAERS received 423 reports of unknown gender. Of the total number of VAERS reports following Gardasil®, 92% were considered to be non-serious, and 8% were considered serious.
      Deaths
As of June 22, 2011 there have been a total 68 VAERS reports of death among those who have received Gardasil® . There were 54 reports among females, 3 were among males, and 11 were reports of unknown gender. Thirty two of the total death reports have been confirmed and 36 remain unconfirmed due to no identifiable patient information in the report such as a name and contact information to confirm the report. A death report is confirmed (verified) after a medical doctor reviews the report and any associated records. In the 32 reports confirmed, there was no unusual pattern or clustering to the deaths that would suggest that they were caused by the vaccine and some reports indicated a cause of death unrelated to vaccination.

Get your facts from credible sources, not crackpots.

@JAYLEW..I believe that this particular form of cancer is very rare. Something tells me that it won’t be rare for long after that vaccine. As for Perry..he is not a real Republican. He is a democrat who was talked into changing over to the republican party. His democratic ideas did not change with him. He is a propagator of illegals, wanting to cater to them in place of tax paying citizens. He also brags of a job growth, but as I understand, that predated his governorship. He houses criminal illegals and of course dunns the tax payers for that. He makes the insured foot more of the bill on their insurance and he has raised and been a big promoter of raising taxes in Texas. He also wants to do away with Social Security and Medicare while our government is funding illegals to the tune of 338.3 billion a yr. He’s no republican.

I think parents definitely should be involved in any vaccination program decision. The facts are the HP Virus is not a joke and is responsible for some very serious female diseases including some that lead to death. I do find it interesting to note that although Bachmann misspoke regarding a mysterious syndrome allegedly triggered by the vaccine in a few cases the vaccine series itself has a good track record preventing diseases in girls who have been or will choose to be inoculated. As seen on SNL a bastion for ripping on Republicans whenever possible, many liberals compare Perry’s ill advised and ill fated (as it was never implemented) decision to make these HPV shots mandatory…we see that liberals will compare Perry to Hitler’s Josef Mengele in this HPV thing and they will not focus on young girls health. But that rant pales in comparison to the medical programs that liberals have absolutely no problem with and almost worship…like on-demand fetus vacuuming in Planned Parenthood clinics around the country and the harvesting of fetal stem cells as if a woman’s ovaries were a uniquely shaped Pez dispenser. So Perry catches he!! for something that never occurred but liberals continue to treat girls wombs like Dyson dirty carpet test mats by the millions every year. Liberals are truly weird when it comes female body parts. Some girl parts are holier than others but the ones capable of and often bearing the future right inside of them are treated with utter disdain.

      Thanks for your comment…..
there was an opt out option for any parent who wanted to take the time to pay the slightest bit of attention.
I don’t quite understand the apoplexy surrounding this particular vaccine…..it had to be administered to girls before they became sexually active and the truth is that large numbers of girls are experimenting with sex by the age of 12 or 13……or they could be molested or raped.
There are lots of questions surrounding other mandatory vaccines and their possible link to autism but most schools do not allow non-vaccinated children to attend.
I had a close friend who died of cervical cancer which is linked to HPV and if she had had a chance to have been vaccinated, I’m sure she would have jumped at it.Cervical cancer can either kill or if detected early enough, result in the necessity of hysterectomy.
I think this is simply because of the connection to Perry, like the stupid rock story I just read.

It is simply amazing the vetting that is occurring….that never occurred with Obama!
I just saw a program on Anwar al Awlaki on Fox where they were able to go into the records in New Mexico and see his physical, nondigital!!! birth certificate, ascertain that he fraudulently had a scholarship to college as a foreign student and had a phony social security number…..uh gee…that sure rings some bells and whistles about someone else……just sayin’

So you’re okay with the precedent set by Gov Perry then? Sure his heart was in the right place, and he probably meant well, but what happens a few years from now when it’s someone else (namely someone you don’t like) legally requiring children to be given something (namely something you don’t want them given)? And surprise, they‘re fining or jailing people who don’t comply!

And what could possibly be the legal justification for that? Good ole Gov Rick Perry in Texas!

The 42,000-acre ranch referenced in the Washington Post story is actually owned by the Hendricks Home for Children, a West Texas charity.

In 1991 the Texas Legislature passed a bill to rename old, offensive place names.” But you not being from Texas you probably wouldn’t know this.

He is saying that if they are going to use dolls to mock Perry‘s HPV vaccine decision they could also use dolls to mock Obama’s abortion policy (which they won’t, of course, as being pro-abortion is as sacred in liberal quarters as the quran is for Muslims), just to be fair.

We need a really strong alternative to SNL, one that knows how to mock liberals as well as they mock us. Get good conservative/libertarian comedians, like Dennis Miller and Tim Hawkins. Throw in a couple liberals just to keep them on their toes.

I am no supporter of Perry or his HPV mandate, but these SNL disgust me with their attacks on conservatives and conservative values.

I haven’t watched SNL since the days of Land Shark. Candygram anyone? LOL

As for mandatory HPV – Wrong.
The decision to vaccinate should be left to the parents. And parents should do their own research in making that decision.

While the CDC adamantly reports HPV is completely safe and presents no risk, there are also many independent studies and research that show HPV has caused severe reactions in a significant percentage of girls.

Yeah, I’m with Steelhead. What if Michelle Bachman had created this? Why not? It’s message is little different from her central attack against Perry in the debates.

It was a little amuzing, and quite creepy.

The point has been made repeatedly that “opt outs” are still a violation of parental rights and control. They should be opt INS. Opt outs puts the burden on the parents to get permission from the school not to have their children subjkected to this. Opt ins puts the burden of the school to get the parents’ permission first. The school should not have the default right to do things to your children you haven’t agreed on beforehand.

That’s a conservative principle, and one reason why conservatives were rightly spooked by Perry’s decision to do this and his tone deafness about the issue. He seems like a big government conservative on the state level here. He may make a lot of noise about federalism and state’s rights, but what about the people’s rights when it comes to STATE government?

13th imam–why did Bachman decide to make this an issue at the debate?Could it be to expose the cronyism of Perry? I think it’s a non issue but the cons are picking the topics that seem to be important .Bachman brought it up I didn”t
