Saudi Arabian ‘Jihadist’ School Text Books Reportedly Call for the Annihilation of Jews & Gays

Jihadist language in Saudi Arabian textbooks is creating angst among Westerners who continue to hear empty promises that the kingdom’s leaders will remove controversial and inflammatory language from curricula. Textbooks, of course, are an important tool in educating children, thus the presence of terroristic language is concerning.

Saudi Textbooks Teach Kids to Kill Jews & Discriminate

King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia (AP Photo)

Recently, the Institute for Gulf Affairs (IGA) in Washington, D.C., was able to get its hands on some Saudi textbooks. The group provided these startling translations to Fox News. In addition to calling for the murder of Jews, the texts reportedly call women “weak” and teach that gays are dangerous and should be put to death.

According to Alu Al-Ahmen, director of the IGA, terrorism starts in the education system. “If you teach six million children in these important years of their lives, if you install that in their brain, no wonder we have so many Saudi suicide bombers,” he explains.

Al-Ahmen, a Saudi national who obtained the books from confidential sources within the kingdom, says that the texts are paid for by the Saudi government. The government’s role in the funding of the textbooks makes the presence of controversial and dangerous language even more concerning.

One book, al-Ahmed claims, teaches 10th graders barbaric practices. “They show students how to cut (the) hand and the feet of a thief,” he explains. This particular textbook was created for the 2010-2011 school year.

Fox News has in-depth analysis:

In another text for ninth-graders, students are allegedly taught that it is necessary to annihilate the Jewish people. According to Fox News, one part reads, “The hour (of judgment) will not come until the Muslims fight the Jews and kill them. … There is a Jew behind me come and kill him.”

Fox News has more about the issues surrounding Saudi Arabian education and terrorism:

After the 9/11 terrorist attacks, there was an intense focus on Saudi Arabia and its educational teachings because almost all of the attackers were from the kingdom. In 2006, Saudi Ambassador to the U.S. Prince Turki al-Faisal told the Chicago Council on Foreign Relationships that the Saudi king was determined to eradicate this ideology of hate.

“In Saudi Arabia, King Abdullah recognizes that above all else education is the key, and he has put forth a program of reforms in this area,” al-Faisal said. “In recent years, the kingdom has reviewed all of its education practices and materials and has removed any element that is inconsistent with the needs of a modern education. Not only have we eliminated what is objectionable from old textbooks that were in our system, we have also implemented a comprehensive internal revision and modernization plan. “

While the kingdom has made these claims, it’s clear that the most recent textbooks do not comply with these self-imposed standards. This is particularly striking, considering that the government purportedly reviews these books.

Either the reviews aren’t happening or the horrific language said to be present in the texts is simply being ignored — potentially both.

I guess it makes sense to you that one of the first elements formed after the big bang was helium.
Helium, a tasteless, odorless gas after millions of years. Turns into people.

You are right. We do not believe that because we do believe in the law of spontaneous generation, the law of probability, and the law of entropy. All are known scientific laws go against evolution.

Natural Selection does not increase genetic material, it gets rid of it.
Mutations are 99.9% lethal. All known mutations are the cause of disease and none make an organism better.
Bacteria already have the genetic information for antibiotic resistance present. They merely pass it on to others. They dont evolve it.

If 15 of the supposed 19 “hijackers” were from Saudi Arabia, then why weren’t THEY attacked?

Why did the US recently make the largest arms sale in history to Saudi Arabia?

Why were UBL’s family members allowed to fly out of the country the day after 9/11?

Why were Bush Sr. and UBL’s family business partners in the Carlyle Group?

Why was GWB in business with Salem Bin Laden (Usama’s brother) in his Arbusto Oil Company?

Why didn’t the FBI formally charge UBL with the attacks of 9/11 on their top ten website? Why did they say that they had “no hard evidence?”

Why wasn’t anyone who was in charge of defending the country on 9/11, FIRED for failures in intelligence? Why were some even PROMOTED?

Many questions come to mind about Saudi Arabia and 9/11 in general.

Hmmm, how exactly do Texas school books teach that. I assume your talking about creationism…. Let me point out something it’s called the “Theory of Evolution” not the “law”, this is important because it has not been proven true yet. Though it is just a theory you hold it to be the one truth and wish it to be the only thing taught, much like when people thought the earth to be flat that was the only thing to be taught. Creationism is also called theory not law because it to has not been proven yet.
I find it funny when people hold science up to Christianity as a way to disprove it, as if the word alone does as much. Hardly ever do they actually state anything in science that is contrary to what Christians believe. I would assume because we believe in a supernatural being, you also believe that we think all things happen in supernatural ways. Nope God likes laws and complex things.
Scientist were recently troubled by the fact that it is mathematically impossible for the earth to enjoy all the things needed for life to exist here, being that in science you have to deal with the information before you they were coming around to an intelligent design theory, but then someone came up with an idea. “What if there is unlimited dimensions, if there is then one of them would have to of had everything needed for life to exist on earth just by sheer number of tries.” So the universe is infinite and there are infinite dimensions and that means we could exist. “Theory”

In truth the Bible is only talking about 6k years (besides the creation of the world and universe). Before these 6k years like the other 5billion or so evolution could of happened. We dont know, when God created man in his own image we dont know what processes he used to create us. For Eve he took a rib so that sounds more supernatural but the Bible is complex and talks in codes a lot. In our way of thinking God created the laws, so that means before he made them there is nothing we could even grasp about what existence was like. Questions like where did God come from can not be answered, he lives outside our realm our minds can not comprehend what that means.
Science on the other hand has to exist within the laws, because the laws were not created they were always here. No massive explosion could create the law of gravity right? So where did matter come from, “The higs”. Where did the higs come from and the matter that would soon come into contact with the higs to be birthed into existence. No clue huh…. Whats the deal with “strong force” and how can you use it as a basic pillar of physics if you dont understand it and it breaks the other laws. Strong force is explained to us in the Bible which by the way I thought was cool. Why do you think Dawkins would accept alien involvement in our creation but not God’s. Aliens still had to of came from somewhere, watch. God is just an extremely powerful alien that came to earth and made us. Was that easier to accept? Thus my

The acceptance of an alien that found out a way to harness the power the universe, who is now able to create from nothing and travel through time and other godly things and the repulsion to the thought that there is a God and he made all of this is proof that a God exist. If i walked up to you and told you hey I want to tell you about how cool Satan is, you would… What laugh smile and say okay. I walk up to you and tell you hey I want to tell how how cool Jesus is, you would…. Be repulsed, get angry and lash out. Sure there is some learned behavior in there what with this crazy Christians with their noses in the air running around but there is a lot of natural reaction in there too. Want to goto a party at my church? Want to goto a party at my office. (neither has alcohol). The party at the church… bleh it just sounds awful. People who point to science should watch for outside influences in their lives, trust me it’s there. Watch your own bodies reaction to when you know your doing something wrong, and watch it’s repulsion when you reach for Godly things.

We hear a lot of homosexuals trashing Christianity, but they don’t dare say a word about Islam, and the reason is that Muslims would put out a fatwa on Homosexuals if they trashed their religion.

Being that yall theory is based on a model that the laws that govern the universe always had to exist. You can not create something from nothing thus your theory has been dis-proven.
Being that our theory has a “being” that created the laws that govern the universe, meaning he does not exist under them. You might be able to create something from nothing, because our understanding of something and nothing is based in this existence and we have no understanding of the other. Therefore our theory remains just that.
Yup so your right Texas text books do call for the annihilation of science and reason, they are teaching dis-proven theories, well impossible theories if you don’t want to break all of the other laws, and if you could do that then they are dis-proven so why would we be teaching them.

Chris the Farmer, I’m not going to read all that nonsense you just wrote, so I’ll just put it like this:

Evolution is not a theory of creation. It is a theory that explains how life developed on out planet over billions of years. There is an abundance of evidence that shapes this theory and validates it.

There is not, on the other hand, a single shred of evidence that points to a manipulative humanistic deity, who created the universe and everything in it single-handedly.

My point was more about this “At least Texas Christian school texts only call for the annihilation of science and reason.” then the evolution. Since you didnt answer the basic question or pick up on any of the points. Your best come back was there is evolution and there is evidence WAAA, none of which you present and if you had presented any of it the tale it would tell would be different from what you thought it said. There is the problem with thinking everyone that writes a book is smarter then you, your mind cant even begin to understand how to think for itself and find the flaws in what others believe. HEY DIP I SAID IT WAS MATHEMATICALLY IMPOSSIBLE FOR THIS TO JUST HAPPEN RANDOMLY AND IN FACT THE NEW EQUATION TO GET AROUND THIS HAS TWO INFINITE VARIABLES. There is no evidence whats so ever of other dimensions but what do you know it’s being taught in school.

The best way to eliminate this threat is for the United States to become energy independent and bankrupt the Saudi tyrants and Iranian Twelvers. That will never happen solely with wind and solar, although they may be components of the solution. I’ve had solar panels on my house, so I am well aware of their limitations!

You’re misinformed which leads you to a wrong conclusion. The God Jews & Christians worship is the same God, but they disagree on timing: When will the Messiah come save us? the Jews ask. “He did come & many Jews believed”, say Christians. But both ‘sides’ are told to love God and love your neighbor….AND to love your enemy, and trust God to be in control. He doesn’t need man to fight for Him, we need Him to save us. So, God is love, peace and compassion.
Now, Muslims believe they worship the same God as Jews, & believe Jesus was a major Prophet, just below Muhammad.
But that cannot be true, because their Allah(who was the Arabic god of the moon before Muhammad came). Allah, well, he’s not much of a god, for he needs men to fight his battles for him. In the Koran there are 527 times that allah tells his followers to commit violence on Jews and Christians, while “paradise” is mentioned twice. Chop off their heads, chop off hands, genocide, etc. is the Muslims duty and how they ‘serve’ their “god”. Muslims hate Israel because the very nation and peoples consistently have defeated them in battle, which tneir prophet swore couldn’t happen as they were chosen to have all middle east by allah. So the Jews living there proves allah and muhammad are false prophets and liars.

You can’t say that the Jews and Christians believe in the same God.

Christians believe that Jesus died for our sins and the only way to get into Heaven is through him. Well Jews DON’T believe that, therefore you can’t believe in the same God.

Christianity hijacked Judaism, and simply constructed a story saying Jesus is the Son of God, while also being God so they could get around that pesky 1st commandment.

Christianity hijacked Judaism, Mormonism hijacked Christianity and Judaism, Islam hijacked Christianity and Judaism and Judaism took a buffet style selection process to other beliefs that were currently being practiced and wrote a story to fit their people.

      Posted on December 22, 2011 at 9:33am

@ C0MM0NSENSE- Jihad is also used to refer to the pilgrimage to Mecca. When Aishah, the wife of the Prophet, was asked about the jihad of women, she said, “Your jihad is to make the pilgrimage.” Here the pilgrimage is the lesser jihad of women and the elderly who are not members of the armies that fight in defense of the country, so pilgrimage, which is a journey that is comprised of great difficulties due to the crowds and the physically demanding nature of its practices, is called jihad. The term jihad is also used to refer to speaking truth to those in power, so in Islam government oversight is a form of jihad.

In addition to these meanings, the term jihad refers to the defense of a nation or a just cause. This is what jihad was legislated for, and it must be differentiated from indiscriminate killing by the condition that it be “in the way of God,” meaning to struggle in self-defense, to alleviate tyranny, or to prevent aggression. These are the characteristics that differentiate jihad from killing, which is a crime. These characteristics that amount to “in the way of God” are summed up in the Quran, “Fight in the way of God against those who wage war against you, but do not commit aggression – for, verily, God does not love aggressors,” [Quran, 2:190]. This verse summarizes everything that has been agreed upon concerning guidelines of warfare, including the first and second Geneva Conventions.

The Meaning of Jihad in Islam

Within Islam the term jihad refers to a large category of meanings. Today, however, there are attempts to isolate this term to only one form of jihad to the exclusion of all others. This includes a conception of jihad that at best refers only to armed struggle, and at worst to a barbaric form of warfare that seeks to destroy whatever peace may still remain in the world. This could not be farther from the concept of jihad as understood by Muslims throughout history and the world over. For Muslims, jihad is much more than armed struggle against an enemy from the outside for it includes constant struggles within both oneself and one’s own society. When jihad actually does take the form of armed struggle, Muslims are aware that it can only be done for the sake of a just cause.

Once, upon returning from a battle, the Prophet Muhammad said to his companions, “We have returned from the lesser jihad to the greater jihad; the jihad of the soul.” Here the term jihad refers to the spiritual exercise of opposing the lower self. This is referred to as the greater jihad since people spend their entire lives struggling against the base desires within them that can harm both themselves and those around them.

So Muslims do not believe in slavery or suicide bombing since they would harm themselves and others? Would it not be better to distinguish between the different concepts of Jihad? Like saying we want a “Armed Jihad” or We want a “Jihad of self improvement or a Jihad of social improvement.”

@ GWSSACREDCAUSE- As for suicide bombing, Islam forbids suicide, it forbids the taking of one’s own life. In addition, Islam forbids aggression against others. Attacking civilians, women, children, and the elderly by blowing oneself up is absolutely forbidden in Islam. No excuse can be made for the crimes committed in New York, Spain, and London, and anyone who tries to make excuses for these acts is ignorant of Islamic law (shari’ah), and their excuses are a result of extremism and ignorance.

It‘s the way many Islamists use the word today that’s the issue. The word holocaust once meant to be completely consumed in flame (or something similar). We can talk about what‘s Jihad is supposed to mean from now until the sun explodes but it won’t change what it’s being used to justify today. It was Islamists who first twisted the meaning so don’t go blaming the rest of the world.

Surhan, if suicide bombing is a crime and ‘Islam forbids it’, then why are suicide bombers promised paradise and 72 virgins if they do it? Why are they honored as heroes and their families given money? The problem with Islam is the constant double talk. Say one thing, do another. “we are peaceful victims of Israeli/US agression” , then when the west isnt looking “Death to Jews and USA”. Double talk.
I cant think of the last time I heard about a christian, jew, hindu, budhist, etc, strapping a bomb to their chest and blowing up a school bus.

I have noticed when asked questions like “Would it not be better to distinguish between the different concepts of Jihad?” there is not direct answer to that question and when mentioning the places of suicide bombing SHURHANSURHAN only mentioned Spain, France, and London. The question of slavery was never mentioned I wonder if it is because Muslim scholar Majid Khadduri believes the term spoil (ghanima) applies to property acquired by force from non-muslims. It includes not only property but also persons whether in the context of prisoners (asra) or (sabi) children, so the definition of property I guess could not be considered by Muslims as harming another human being, dehumanizing works well for deceivers.

It has become more than clear we have no friends in the muddle east except Israel, and even they have gotten irritated towards us-with good reason-and no longer wish to “listen” to anything our government says. Who blames them? I just hope they realize that most Americans don’t fel the way our government does towards them. As for the rest of Islam, their religion comes before government-and if the religion can take over the government, so much the better for them. I never thought I would say this, but none of them have an ounce of compassion, tolerance or love for anything but themselves. We are all infidels to them. There is no difference in American Islam either. We kid ourselves if believe differently, they are our true and largest enemy. Russia and China are kidding themselves if they think they feel different towards them, too. The world needs to wake up and realize we have an implaccable enemy-all based on the “religon of love” Our government better get a clue, too. Oh, yeah, I think Obama get’s it-not 100% sure which side he’s on-but I’m pretty sure….. I guess I won’t go there-yet.

Here is the reason why everyone who has a computer needs to go to http://www.whitehouse.gov, click on the contact tab, send an e-mail and demand that the president:

      1) Approve the KEYSTONE PIPELINE PROJECT immediately.
      2) Remove all bans on oil exploration and drilling in the Gulf of Mexico.
      3) Allow development of shale oil deposits in Colorado and Utah.
      4) Allow the development of the Natural Gas and oil deposits in West Texas.

Millions of e-mails from people nationwide will make a difference. When the e-mail site receives thousands of e-mails per day – - – well, he might realize that Americans are tired of his stonewalling the energy needs of this country.

Along with these solutions to our oil needs, we need to continue to do research on creating more fuel efficient vehicles. Hand in hand, these solutions would make America energy independant again and we wouldn’t have to pay those who want to destroy Israel and America for their oil.

It’s up to us to demand action.

This information should be made more public. Certainly undermines the Obama Administration’s seizure of the gay vote. ( have you visited the White House website lately ? Sure wonder how many tax dollars went into creating that masterful bit of free Obama advertising – all at tax payer’s expense – sort of like NPR on steroids ! )

They are willing to sacrifice themselves for the greater leftest/progressive/collectivist good. The feminists did the same thing when they forgave Clinton for Monica. “Yeah, he shouldn’t treat women like objects but he is pro-choice!” It’s still messed up, though.
