Saudi Blogger’s Tweets About Muhammad Has Some Calling for His Execution

Saudi Blogger Hamza Kashgari Flees Country Over Death Threats for Tweets About Muhammad

What are the consequences of just three tweets? For Hamza Kashgari, a Saudi blogger who tweeted about the Islamic prophet Mohammad on his birthday, the result was more than 30,000 responses in one day, death threats and a call by the king of Saudi Arabia for his arrest.

The Daily Beast reports that Kashgari removed the tweets posted last week, apologized and asked for forgiveness. But it was too late. He has since had to flee the country for his safety.

Here is what Kashgari originally tweeted, according to the Daily Beast:

“On your birthday, I will say that I have loved the rebel in you, that you’ve always been a source of inspiration to me, and that I do not like the halos of divinity around you. I shall not pray for you,” he wrote in one tweet.

“On your birthday, I find you wherever I turn. I will say that I have loved aspects of you, hated others, and could not understand many more,” he wrote in a second.

“On your birthday, I shall not bow to you. I shall not kiss your hand. Rather, I shall shake it as equals do, and smile at you as you smile at me. I shall speak to you as a friend, no more,” he concluded in a third.

Since leaving for Southeast Asia yesterday, Kashgari told the Daily Beast that he will never go home, saying “It is impossible. There is no way.”

International Business Times reports that some have placed a 10,000 riyals (about $2,666) reward on Kashgari’s head with others saying he was a “dead man walking.”

Watch as Islamic cleric Sheikh Nasser Al Omar breaks down in tears during a speech while asking the king to have Kashgari arrested and charged with apostasy, which is punishable by death:

The Daily Beast reports Ahmed Al Omran, who writes the blog Saudi Jeans, as saying that more conservative Saudi’s often watch social media sites for controversial statements, such as Kashgari’s. He says he believes they are using Kashgari’s statement to “take advantage of the situation, make an example out of him, and show their strength.”

According to the Daily Beast, even though Kashgari retracted his statement and deleted his Twitter account, he still says he sees these events playing out in the “process toward freedom,“ considering himself a ”scapegoat for a larger conflict.”

Their faith is so fragile that to even hint that the pedophile murderer who advocated for his faithful to side with the anti-Christ in the End Times is punishable by death and sends their imams into crying fits.

It’s almost as bad as the way atheists react when someone brings up how racist Darwin was or the eugenics movement or Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory or the atheist body count of the 20th century.

It has become apparent to me that collectivist mentalities are all like insecure adolescents. If they feel threatened or put down they react with a tantrum. Unfortunately, their collective tantrums usually end up with a body count.

Sadly, DEM, the “good” Muslims can’t speak out against the extremists or the good ones become the next new target. Extremists won’t have accomplished their goal until Islam and Shariah are advanced and established globally. What’s sadder still is our government and the U.N. are helping the cause.

SURHANSURHAN- While the Law reveals our sins, Jesus has forgiven us, and tells us to forgive others as we have been forgiven. We are to love our enemies.

Not sure if you read the whole Bible, but revenge if for the Lord, but He desires that all will come to a saving knowledge of Christ. Jesus came not to condemn, but to set us free because we are already condemned. Love covers a multitude of sins, and love is the fulfilling of the Law- Romans Ch 13.

God’s view of Apostates: The Parable of the Lost Son
Luke 15:11 Then He said: “A certain man had two sons. 12 And the younger of them said to his father, ‘Father, give me the portion of goods that falls to me.’ So he divided to them his livelihood. 13 And not many days after, the younger son gathered all together, journeyed to a far country, and there wasted his possessions with prodigal living. 14 But when he had spent all, there arose a severe famine in that land, and he began to be in want. 15 Then he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. 16 And he would gladly have filled his stomach with the pods that the swine ate, and no one gave him anything.
17 “But when he came to himself, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! 18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you, 19 and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants.” ’
20 “And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him

And as he came and drew near to the house, he heard music and dancing. 26 So he called one of the servants and asked what these things meant. 27 And he said to him, ‘Your brother has come, and because he has received him safe and sound, your father has killed the fatted calf.’ 28 “But he was angry and would not go in. Therefore his father came out and pleaded with him. 29 So he answered and said to his father, ‘Lo, these many years I have been serving you; I never transgressed your commandment at any time; and yet you never gave me a young goat, that I might make merry with my friends. 30 But as soon as this son of yours came, who has devoured your livelihood with harlots, you killed the fatted calf for him.’ 31 “And he said to him, ‘Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours. 32 It was right that w

      @SurhanSurhan
I see that you read the Bible and yet you have no understanding whatsoever of it. The scripture you quoted is part of the Mosaic Law, which was given because the Israelies were not ready for the higher law that God wanted to give. Hence all the rules given over every aspect of the Israelies lives. When Christ came, he fulfilled the Mosaic Law and gave to us the greater law, love and forgiveness. Hence instead of an eye for an eye and despise your enemies, it became turn the other cheek and pray for those who despitefully use you. Instead of justice, it became mercy. There is a reason for all the commandments given in the Old Testament but it is too in depth for me to try to explain it to you on here. So that scripture is no longer valid in the aspect of the faith so how is it you are trying to compare that with Islam? Please show me where Islam teaches love, mercy, forgiveness, and tolerance for all peoples.

When Jesus walked the earth, there was no such thing as a New Testament, he followed Mosaic Law. Jesus didn’t write the New Testament nor did he tell anyone to write it. Ninety percent of the New Testament is written in black letters, which means it is not the words of Jesus.

@ PATRIOT Z- Islam is a religion, people of all races convert to Islam. Here is what the Guinness Book of World Records say:

According to the Guinness Book of World Records, Islam is the world’s fastest-growing religion by number of conversions each year: Although the religion began in Arabia, by 2002 80% of all believers in Islam lived outside the Arab world. In the period 1990-2000, approximately 12.5 million more people converted to Islam than to Christianity. This was again shown in the 2005, 50th anniversary of Guinness Book of World Records, although the number of conversions was not mentioned this time.
In 1990, 935 million people were Muslims and this figure had risen to around 1.2 billion by the year 2000, meaning that around this time one in five people were followers of Islam. According to the BBC, a comprehensive American study concluded in 2009 the number stood at 1 in 4 with 60% of Muslims spread all over the Asian continent: A report from an American think-tank has estimated 1.57 billion Muslims populate the world – with 60% in Asia. The report was done by the Pew Forum Research Centre. The forum also projected that in 2010 out of the total number of Muslims in the world 62.1% will live in Asia.

Are Asians calling for this mans death? Are White Muslims calling for his death? Are Black Muslims calling for his death? Of course not. Wise up!

I wanted to commend this man for speaking out against the so called prophet muhammad. Secondly the Bible teaches that Religion is dangerous. Understand that being a Christian is not being in a religion. Being a Christian is believing God’s word and that is the Bible. It’s believing that Jesus Chirst died for our sins according to the scriptures, and that he was burried and on the third day he rose from the grave according to the scriptures. The Gospel, found in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. Listen, “Religion” is why the world is fighting. Of course there are many other reasons but even those reasons are related to religion which is; rituals, heaped up doctrines, and things involved in those rituals. Listen, the Apostle Paul talks about religion and what true religion is that God accepts which is; feed the hungry, take care of the elderly, help the poor, etc… that is true religion and love as our bible describes. I agree with Anonymous T. Irrelevant that he could believe that Jesus Christ died for Hamza Kashgari’s sins as well as the whole world and that he was burried and that on the third day he rose from the grave. That’s all it takes to be a Christian is that faith, believing it in the heart and confessing it with your mouth. God Bless and I‘m sorry for offending anyone but I’m not ashamed of the Gospel and the God that I serve who is and was and is to come Amen.

Awesome juxtaposition piece to the Welsh troll! A great contrast, the opposite side of the coin.

Words have consequences, this is why the pen is and always will be mightier than the sword. This fellow unfortunately did not have the freedom to write what he did, he is now paying for it. The Welsh troll has too much freedom to write what he does. He cannot control himself. Perhaps he will someday pay also, I hope not.

I am thankful I can write what I damn well please right here and right now. However, If I talk about assassinating presidents or blowing up schools I will be paid a visit. This is as it should be. Words have consequences. Where do you draw the line? That is a hard thing, I believe in freedom of speech. I should be able to call Obama out on issues I disagree with him. I should be able to say he is the worst president of the last 100 years. But I have the RESPONSIBILITY to temper my words and not cross that line. Regardless of the laws there is such a thing as hate speech. I want to be clear and emphatically state that I pray we NEVER create the “hate speech” laws of other countries, but we are RESPONSIBLE for our conduct. If you do not like blacks, Jews, or homosexuals then you should be free to explain why. But when you become hateful or inciting in your speech then I do not feel bad when you eventually receive what you have coming.

Actually, if anyone had any stones, the would pay commercial time for a couple of minutes during prime time and televise the execution. That would maybe wake Americans up to the savages of islam.

Imagine that, someone in a middle east country who can think for himself. Kudos to Kashgari for waking up. I urge you to convert to Christianity.

If nothing else, when whole world has learned that radical Muslims totally lack a sense of humor. President Obama has no qualms ticking off the Catholics, but would think twice before angering the Muslim Brotherhood – or whoever.

That being said, perhaps if Kashgari can make it to the States, maybe Jeff Dunham could use a new “character” ?

Mr. Obama would have no problem changing his status from supreme leader to supreme being and executing all religious leaders.

You mean “wahabi”. You don’t “care” about them, you are “aware” of them. Because if you don’t, you may wake up one day, and find out not only that the sharia law is instituted, but someone dug up something you said one time about Mo-HAM-med/Islam/muslims and someone would be very keen to saw off your head.

An injustice anywhere is an injustice everywhere. “Freedom is the freedom to say 2+2=4 if that is allowed then all must follow.” This is a hidden tyranny, a tyranny we can not see nor realize because we’ve been conditioned to blindly accept out of fear or by ignorance by design. The freedom to one’s own mind, opinion, and conscience. You do not need to shackle one’s body if their mind is bound by fear and ignorance.
