Saudi King’s Heart Attack Rumor Tracked

The Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal told the press that 86 yr old King Abdullah is in excellent health and looking forward to returning home after a brief stop in Morocco following last December’s back surgery in New York.

Why did we need to know that the King was in excellent health and doing twice as much therapy as prescribed? Aside from the obvious problem of losing the guy who supplies so much oil to America, it seems that the web was sparking with a rumor that the King had a heart attack and died following a heated conversation about Egypt and President Mubarak with President Obama on Thursday morning. It certainly would not be a stretch to hear that a world leader in his mid-80s had dropped dead of a heart attack, but that kind of news is impossible to keep quiet and would no doubt resonate around the globe in minutes.

The only part of this story that is claimed to be not true, is the heart attack. The rest of the story stands. Obama could have kept his mouth shut and the end result in Egypt would have been the same and we’d still have Saudi as an ally. Egypt’s military is supplied with the latest US equipment and aircraft. Saudi has the latest US aircraft, munitions and missile defense systems. Obama has no clue that all this could end up being shared with Iran who is also in kahoots with North Korea. Obama’s too D++n busy playing golf and having concerts at the white house. That little golf ball and concerts are more important to him than allies and threats to US security. Your sons and daughters in the military will pay for it in the next big war.

WHATEVER happens to the Saudi gov’t, AMERICA MUST start the processes to produce/use our own oil. In 3 to 5 yrs or LESS the middle east will likely look completely different. We CANNOT continue to depend on other countries for our continued energy resources. Nor can we afford it.

That’s the problem with Kings, they die and a hell breaks loose. At 86, I don’t care how good his health is, the U.S. better have a plan in place for when he goes.

Last thing we need right now is both banks of the Suez in turmoil. Mentally visualize the region ~~ only three exits for oil sea transport: 1) Strait of Hormuz (bounded by Saudi & Iran; 2) Suez (Saudi Arabia, Egypt, & NORTH Sudan; and 3) Bosporous to Aegean (Turkey/Greece).

With “community organizers” itching for revolution, do ya’ think worldwide oil disruption could play into the mix? Remember, the enemy of my enemy…

if Obama killed Abdullah with his words then good on Obama.

It came from Islam Times.
Pointing out site that mentioned the rumor is misleading.
I follow Debkafile and was on their site when it was posted. They never stated it as fact.
What the is hell is TheBlaze trying to do here?
The insanity of a headline that claims you ‘tracked’ it and never even include the site of origin..!!!!

  The report I know about sourced it to IT as well. It came across the wire as rumor and was pretty quickly dismissed. It was, as you say, mentioned on the above sites.
  Blaze is not known for in-depth journalism, mostly an rss feed with commentary is my opinion. I’m not sure why this was mentioned and not properly researched.

  The Saudis are using the $$$ they get from us to build and fund Madrasahs throughout this country. THEY are perpetuating the Shariah-based hate that is the cancer eating away at America, and Christian nations worldwide.
