Scathing New SEAL Ad Blasts Obama for Literally ‘Bowing’ to Foreign Leaders

A scathing new ad titled, “Bow to Nobody,” takes aim at President Obama and what many conservatives believe is his history of deferring to America’s enemies. The video, released by “Special Operations for America” (SOFA), a super PAC led by former Navy SEALs, will be unveiled Tuesday at the Republican National Convention.

The narration is poignant and relates the motivations behind service men and women as they risk their lives to ensure that their nation “bows to nobody.” The ad culminates in the display of a now-infamous photo of the president bowing to the Saudi king.

The ad, which is bound to cause controversy, will be featured at an event titled, “Defending Our Defenders: A Salute to the United States Military.” The tribute will reportedly be led Congressman Louie Gohmert, former members of SEAL Team Six, Army Rangers, Gold Star parents, and others.

Ryan Zinke, the former Navy SEAL who started SOFA, told Breitbart that the ad itself “accurately portrays where this President is.”

“It accurately portrays his core belief that America should not lead. This president is shaping America to be one of the followers, to relinquish our role as a world leader. I didn’t fight 23 years as a Navy SEAL to watch America bow to anybody.”

      In Japan you bow instead of shaking hands or you bow & shake hands. There is a proper way to bow in Japan.

      What Obama does is obsequious & demeaning.

      Funny the Japanese leader did NOT bow in return, I was stationed in Japan for some time and it’s a show of respect not a greeting. Oh yeah, you don’t bow your head but face the person you are greeting

      Sad to see the superpac money going to this appeal to ignorance. If any of you knew how to use the googles, you could easily find photographs of Eisenhower bowing to De Gaulle, Nixon bowing to Mao, Reagan bowing to the Queen of England, several Presidents bowing to Japanese Prime Ministers, and all sorts of Presidents bowing to the Pope. And don’t get me started about Bush, who both bowed to and kissed and held hands with the Saudi King on multiple occasions.

      It’s known as diplomacy. When in Rome, you bow to the Pope. That doesn‘t mean you are pledging to work in the Pope’s service, or the Queen of England’s, it’s simply a matter etiquette. Sad that voters like you guys don’t understand that simple concept. And sadder still that you are gullible enough to believe only President Obama has bowed to other foreign leader.

      I was under the impression that people meeting each other would both bow or could. In an hierarchical organization the subordinate would bow a little lower (or much lower).

      I figure in Rome do as the Romans do. If Japanese leader bow to each other I see no problem with an American President doing so so long as it is returned. I do have a problem with Obama he bows with poor form & more importantly where it is culturally inappropriate & does so obsequiously.

      The is a big difference between bowing in East Asia & bowing In Islam. It is not done in Islam & yet Obama does it. That is wrong. Bush held hands. That is done in Islam but it is a sign of friendship.
      I would hope that we have a few friends among Muslims & Arabs. The Bush family certainly tried to be friendly & have long standing ties. Obama on the other hand bows to demean America. He is smart enough to know etiquette & yet he perseveres in doing the wrong thing.

      Walkabout, I guess I should send you some links since you don’t seem to know about search engines, and seem to think that when Reagan bowed to the Queen of England, and Eisenhower bowed to De Gaulle, they were receiving medals. Sorry, wrong. And actually President’s have a Chief of Protocol that tells them local etiquette, although I know you love to blame Obama.

      Walkabout, I know you like to disagree, but you have trouble focusing on the topic at hand, which in this case is: Scathing New SEAL Ad Blasts Obama for Literally ‘Bowing’ to Foreign Leaders. Watch the infomercial and you‘ll see they didn’t make exceptions for etiquette, so I‘m not sure why you aren’t ticked at them.

      Sorry to point out to you that, yes, Presidents sometimes bow to foreign leaders, but it’s a fact (although I think Bush was pretty unique with all the kissing he did – what would people say if President Obama did that?). This website would have you believe otherwise, but it’s true.

      Eisenhower is before my time. Eisenhower knew De Gaulle if that was the person to whom he bowed, personally because of WWII. That would be a sign of respect. He knew him & WW2 was a big deal. Maybe you should go back to your classroom or brainwash some more girl scouts.

    True patriots can smell a fake. I would hope that more troops can rightly judge this disgrace of a Commander-in-chief whose administration didn’t even consider it a worthy time investment to teach him how to pronounce the name of one of the branches of the military he leads, since he clearly didn’t care to learn it out of his own initiative to begin with. I’m interested to hear how any self-respecting Marine could have any respect towards his leadership.

    I like the fact that our former troops are speaking their minds on this fraudulent traitor, but the current and future ones are slowly being indoctrinated to stand for the state instead of the people. Will they make the right choice when they’re commanded to take action against the freedom-loving people they’re supposed to be serving? I wonder if state national guards are less prone to pressure from the federal government in this regard at a point like this.

      It’s awesome to see the military speaking out against Obama and his foreign policies. First it was Stanley A. McChrystal that spoke up, then was forced to resign. I thought, “It’s about time the military spoke out against Obama” but I don’t recall anyone in the military backing McChrystal up. But obviously the military is having internal disputes over Obama’s lack of leadership and his staff for leaking important Intel. I really look forward to Sep 11th when “No Easy Day” comes out because I am hoping it will tell the true story of what happened and perhaps leave politics out of it. The authority didn‘t even have 24 hr before Fox News reported the author’s true name and then the White House confirmed it. I hear now that he may be facing charges. I really hope those charges are dropped and the author gets recognized for putting his life at risk for this country and NOT its Tyrannical leader.

      Yes, I was just reading about McChrystal the other day. Too bad our heroes have to put their butts on the line twice to defend our freedoms. They’re at risk in the battlefield, then at risk at home when speaking out against becoming political tools.

      I’m torn about the book coming out in September. I’m naturally curious to get a first-hand account of what happened, but his fellow warriors seem to be devastated that he was eager to write the book, for whatever reason. They are probably interested in keeping the way of the silent warrior intact and to avoid politicizing what they do, more than they are concerned about secrets spilling out, because he probably knows a thing or two about OPSEC.

      I’m interested in the appropriate amount of sanitation necessary to protect military sensitive information. It seemed initially that he did that to the satisfaction of his discretion, but maybe not necessarily to the satisfaction of the chain of command, so from that perspective I wish he would have had the book reviewed by the Pentagon. But maybe he recognized the risk of political sanitation taking place, and that’s why he took the chance to go without official review.

      I know quite a few military men, some Seals, and MOST of them are anti-Obama, but they will not express those views openly because of possible reprisals by the COs. These guys say there is a BIG PUSH in the military to spread the word about Obama and his anti-military stance. They are tired about not being able to get the equipment they need overseas, which has actually AIDED THE ENEMY. Obama is an anti-military president and these guys KNOW IT. So is our Senate, which is why we must vote all leftists out of office in November!!!

      So, I believe that MOST of the military men and women will be voting for Romney, but certainly NOT OBAMA this November, especially after the fiasco in Ohio in trying to prevent the military from voting early. THEY ARE PISSED ABOUT THIS, BUT ARE READY FOR IT. They will do what it takes to get their ballots in ON-TIME. I’d say, OBAMA IS IN DEEP POO WITH OUR ARMED FORCES BECAUSE OF HIS UNWILLINGNESS TO SUPPORT THEM FINANCIALLY AND OTHERWISE.

      Do you have a problem with the truth? In Ohio, Obama sued so all Americans would have the same early access to voting, he didn’t sue to prevent the active military from voting, but for the vets and the families of active military to have the same chance to vote.

      Put down the bible and pick up the NY Times or some other real news source, instead of the blaze, your are lacking in basic understanding of the facts.

    As retired military I agree with these guys! This shows our country as weak and we are not weak! No wonder why the DNC is having Jumahs for 2 hours and NOT any other kind of prayer. What the hell happened to our great country? We need to take it back from these clowns currently running the country!

      Let ALL CHRISTIANS AND JEWS IN AMERICA (and world-wide, for that matter) be in prayer starting now for GOD’s will to be done Friday in Charlotte. Especially, beginning Friday at midnight Thursday, we, GOD’S CHILDREN, agree to be in prayer for the next 24 hours without ceasing. When GOD awakens us in the middle of the night, we pray. Upon the sound of our alarms, we pray. Dressing, we pray. Brushing our teeth, we pray. Opening the car door, we pray. We pray at every opportunity for those 24 hours.

      In Japan you bow instead of shaking hands or you bow & shake hands. There is a proper way to bow in Japan.

      What Obama does is obsequious & demeaning.

    wellll….with this, we’re bordering on saying “We bow to no one, including God.” America is the land of the free and the home of the brave – a place where charity is a thing of choice…not an obligation passed down from big government cloaked in the name of “redistribution of wealth.” One day, EVERY knee will bow before Jesus Christ and every tongue will declare that He is Lord. America, Israel, Iran and even Costa Rica will ALL bow before The One. However, I’m sure we ARE looking more and more like followers to other countries. We aren’t even pretending to be a Super Power anymore – because our Wuss in Chief would rather focus on everyone holding hands and singing kumbaya while the value of the dollar falls lower and lower and we are all killing each other for dinner.

    This bowing thing that Obama does is partly not intentional. It is a carryover from the time he spent in Indonesia where bowing to a superior or older person is normal as is touching the breast while doing it. Given the age that Obama was in Indonesia, such habits die hard when there are not the cultural reminders as to when it is no longer required.

      Bush was bowing down so the Saudi King could give him a medal. It would be kind of hard to do otherwise since the King of Saudi Arabia is shorter than Bush. I hope that clears that up for you.

      I would expect any American President to bow to the Japanese Emperor. If the bow is too low or held to long & would hold that to be wrong. The Japanese Emperor shortened WW2. There were people in the Japanese Army willing to fight even after 2 atomic bombs had been dropped. The Emperor prevent that. The Japanese military started WW2 when they invaded China & attacked everyone else (British Dutch, Americans) in 1941. You really should read some non-partisan history books old chap.
