Ed Schultz reminds me of Sergeant Schultz of Hogan’s Heroes fame. I know nothing !! NOTHING !! Hey Ed, is it true that you wanted to hold your own rally , but the corner phone booth was too large for the expected turn out.

“These People didn’t contribute to the D.C. economy by spending money there.” I’m pretty sure all of the hotel rooms available in the greater D.C. area were mostly booked. I saw many people coming and going into different resturants and coffee shops after the rally. I myself purchased a Mocha Cooler at the Caribou Coffee shop on my way back to my car. I WOULD have bought more stuff while in town, but you see, Mr. Schultz, my employer has had to cut my pay, cut my hours and suspend all bonus checks because of the Summer Of Recovery.

The hotels were packed and we helped OUR own states/cities/towns by hiring bus drivers, which I paid $25/seat for mine giving her an enormous tip, as well as buying food from the vending carts, buttons and things from the sales people, and some even went into the Museums to get some lunch and tour the area. So- this woman – has used her opinion in place of facts. But using facts just confuses the progressives….

Calling Glenn Beck a loser. That’s pretty extreme when you think about it. Thinking of it in this context, if Glenn is a loser, then everything he stands for are loser’s values. Such as:
    Restoring Honor (loser’s philosophy)
Personal Responsibility, telling the truth, family values, helping people that need help (loser’s attitude)
    Faith, Hope, Charity (loser’s ideals)
I really feel sorry for people like Ed Shultz. Living his life in conflict with all that is good in the Human Spirit.

Really cheeses off the MSNBC/CNN/HLN and other MSM watchers that Fox has so dang many viewers…Whew! Must suck to be watching dying Networks and have to come to sites like this to whine and complain. If you all really cared, those who have come here to just mouth off, you might get involved, read a book, or actually WATCH the network/show that you claim to dislike so much. You’d learn something. I always watch the other networks and compare how they cover the SAME shows. It’s really enlightening and exactly why I do NOT watch CNN or PBS anymore (except to check-in on them).

“And now I say to you, keep away from these men and let them alone; for if this plan or this work is of men, it will come to nothing; but if it is of God, you cannot overthrow it – lest you even be found to fight against God.”

And they agreed with him, and when they had called for the apostles and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go. So they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name.

    ~ Acts 5:38-41

The apostles were beaten because they were on God’s side, but they rejoiced because they suffered for the Lord’s sake. Comments like these only show that we are on the right side.

It’s funny how only liberals, err, um lib-tards, can get away with supposing violence and torture for their opponents. Since there are tens of thousands of blacks and minorities in the GOP, doesn’t that mean we get to call Schultz and his ilk racists for imagining such a thought? You all know that if the tables were turned and Beck or some other prominent non-liberal non-socialist made the same comment, he or she would be instantly demonized as a racist. There would be protestors with picket signs, calling for the person’s firing, and a lawsuit by either or both of Eric Holder and the ACLU, and probably by the NAACP, Al Sharpton, and Jesse Jackson. Then one of their under the table buddies like Malik Shabazz (head of the racist tribalist New Black Panther Party) would send out one of his nation of Islam thugs to “take care of tha cracka” who said that. We live in a sad, sad world folks…it’s like these people on the left fancy themselves as intellectuals and people of thought, yet they act so emotionally, so disconnected, so illogical, and so unfair by any objective standard. Just because one feels white guilt and seeks to give up his alleged “oppressor” ways as a white person, or gets a PhD, or joins a left-wing self-loathing wacko group (they are too countless to name), doesn’t mean you are a SMART and intellectually capable person…it just means you are academic and have low self-esteem! Like Malik Shabazz and his predecessor head of the NBPP once said when referring to whites…“Kill Them All”……………all of you liberal idiots out there should THANK your lucky stars we conservatives hold back and don’t buy into the racist bigotry perpetuated by your side…there would DEFINITELY be race wars………….and I’m wagering all of us 2nd amendment gun toting former military types, all of our friends, and all of our families, would emerge victorious.

I agree we should pray for them and their souls and that their eyes would be opened, their ears would listen and their hearts be softened. That being said God needed a Pontius Pilot and Judas Escariat in order for our sins to be forgiven so along with the prayers above we need to remember to thank and praise God for those who are causing a revival and a turning away from the ways our country is headed in currently.

I completely agree. We need to pray for them. Matthew 5:44 says, “But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” Luke 6:28 says, “Bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.”

This is a hard teaching to follow sometimes, but this is where we have to look to the Bible for answers. We have to show Christ to them; show them love even when they spew hate.

Good point Iotoala, He had just started his recovery from alcohol and drug addiction just after 2000. By 2002 he really got his life together and, last year (2009), he had another spiritual awakening…which is contributing in a great way to helping his viewers and listeners in their search for truth…in Washington, in their communities and in their personal lives. I speak as one of those to whom have benefited from his work. Critics are trying so hard to attack him as a man they are missing the real message of God which transcends Beck or any human…our Founders understood this in a profound way…hence, our Nation!

I just couldn’t resist as this just seems to be applicable here too when folks pop up expousing lil clips off YouTube or Media Matters thinking they “know” all about Beck by what Shultz has said about him or what they’ve read on Media Matters, the Huffington Post, YouTube, MSM, CNN….Enjoy!

      TEN REASONS PEOPLE HATE BECK:

      10. They’re Progressives and want a European style America
      9. They listen to Olberman who tells them to hate Beck.
      8. They listen to MSNBC, CNN, MSM who tells them to Hate Beck.
      7. They believe Beck is a Republican and hate all Republicans
      6. They don’t like Mormons or don’t like religion in general.
      5. They believe Government has all the answers to their problems and see the “people” as too stupid to rely on themselves; therefore, they despise Beck’s message of individual responsibility and liberty.
      4. They voted for Obama and can’t admit they were wrong and hate it that Beck points out the grave error of voting for Obama.
      3. They cling to their Government, MSM, and welfare checks believing Beck is working to actually make them self-reliant and force them to think outside their boxes.
      2. They would never vote for anyone other than a Progressive and so anyone against progressivism is the enemy.
      1. BECAUSE THEY NEVER WATCH HIM except for 1 minute snippets on YouTube or the MSM….thus never understanding that Beck is NOT a Republican, that he spoke negatively of any President who expanded Government, that he is fighting for their rights to be as ignorant as they want because it’s still not against the law to be stupid, and Beck urges his audience to NOT take his word for anything but instead to do their own research.

Shultz is just trying to get his ratings up….don’t sweat it people. This says what we all know – The other networks are worshipping our Government, now that it has a Progressive in the White House. The News Media/journalists (which neither Beck nor Shultz are actually) are supposed to ask the questions we the people can’t. And CNN, MSNBC, HLN are NOT asking questions. I stopped watching CNN except to compare how they cover something with how Fox covers the same subject. Shultz and MSNBC/CNN are ticked off people and hanging on to their jobs with their fingertips. It’s inevitable that they attack the very network/opinion shows that are at THE TOP! Consider it a compliment. :0)

Yes, Glenn eating a sandwich is why so many are hurting in the US and the world….lets call it Sandwich gate or the Sandwich heard round the world!
Does Glenn Beck eating a sandwich make any changes to public policies? Will it begin or end hostilities in the world or make the price of ATM transactions go up? Neither Glenn Beck nor any of his food will change anything other than add money to the coffers of those that made the ingredients and the refrigerator it’s stored in not to mention the energy to preserve them.
Leave it up to our government’s job to screw things up in the name of power and glory. Private Citizen Glenn Beck eating a sandwich is none of anyone’s business, he earned the money to buy the ingredients by selling a product people want; if you are not interested then don‘t listen and don’t buy any of the products his sponsors sell and try to be kinder to others in the future.

No one paid for my way to the rally and I spent quite a bit while I was in Washington DC as did many of the other participants. If this rally was not that big of a deal why are they spending so much time talking about it and claiming that they could get 300,000 to come? They can’t even get 300,000 to listen to their show! LOL The first one to comment has to come up with something better than “Yee Haw.” Anyhow, Ed is really just pathetic. It’s almost to painful to even try to watch his show. I feel so sorry for him. When he’s talking about Glenn you can almost see the tears welling up. He looks like a dejected, beaten puppy. And we all know how sad puppies can look. Especially the puppies on MSLSD. How much fun would that be to put choke chains on Madcow, Overbite and Eddie and walk them around Central Park with little doggie poopie bags? I think it would be worth it just to see Keith and Ed do the whole pee on each other dominance thing.

      So true, Skandelon27, so true.
I was there, too, at my own expense. Will be interesting to see what happens on 10-2-10. They probably will have a big crowd, what with busing in SEIU and union workers, but their interviews and columns about it sound quite shrill, forced, and desperate.

We have to remember that these are radicals who CANNOT, under ANY circumstances acknowledge reality. To do so would be to admit that they are wrong and that their politics and plans for this country are horribly, horribly misguided. I pity them really…..

I find it most interesting that Trumka can accuse Sarah Palin of “fomenting violence” by what she says, yet any Liberal/Progressive can say things like this and be called a “comedian!”

If Mr. Schultz or his caller would take just a minute and open their bibles. Read 1 Corinthians 13 and if you would do yourself a favor and read that chapter every morning before you open your mouth, it would make dealing with what is going on around you a little easier to deal with. It works for me. And the prayer “forgive them Lord for they know not” when the arrows start coming your way.

ISN’T THIS HATE SPEECH? Why are only the Conservatives not allowed to give negative comments, yet liberals can say anything they want? I don’t get this double standard. And, as for the hurricane names being racist, I think whoever says that, or even mentions the term racist and they are black or liberal, are into the Black Liberation Theology, which believes that anyone who is white and has money, should give it to the black people because it is rightly theirs and that is the only way the white man can be saved. If that be true, then the black will then be prosperous and will have to give it back to the white folks so they can be saved. Seems counter-productive to me. It’s just a ways for them to justify theft.

My sister and I didn’t ride a bus and neither did the 5,000 people waiting in line at the metro in VA to get into DC for the rally. We also did spend money in DC. I also am aware that many people stayed in hotels in DC. These people are just jealous and scared and need to knock it down in order to make sure no one else will pay attention to Beck. Pretty sad the way they lie.

These people are acting like anyone can get 300,000 to show up for a rally at the Lincoln Memorial. The History Channel stated that 200,000 were in attendance at Martin Luther King’s speech. Are they saying that He attracted a pathetic crowd? Well it wasn’t, that large crowd of 200,000 people demonstrated to the world that America was overdue to destroy the evil of segregation.

If anyone really believes that millionaires or billionaires assisted in getting bus loads of people to that rally, show me who they are….prove it. Who paid, to who and how much??? Come on put up or shut up.

I was a Democrat for 40 years but recently switched to Republican. I was embarrassed at the behavior of the Dems and the left, not to mention their attitudes that show they do not really care about the common good of everyone, but only for old worn out ideas that are from the 60s and 70s. I could rationalize the old ideas but not the embarrassing attitudes and behaviors of my former political party.
