The people of Massachusetts are big sports fans and love their SAWHX. Sen. Scott Brown is playing to his constituency with a line of baseball cards he will be selling to raise donations for his 2012 re-election campaign.
“Forget about Youk and Big Papi, Scott Brown is the latest craze in baseball cards. The Brown campaign is finding new ways to raise money for the junior senator’s re-election effort.
The cards, which are going for ten dollars on Brown’s campaign website, feature the Republican holding a bat, wearing a Red Sox hat and are described as ‘a unique collectable for your home or office.’ Brown already has more than eight million dollars in his campaign war chest.”
Will Massachusetts voters trade him for a Democrat challenger?

Posted on July 1, 2011 at 8:43amScott Brown is not a republican. He makes me sick. He should be ashamed to have used the tea party to help him get elected. Oh wait, liberals have no shame. I hope he loses. Senate votes have consequences.

Posted on July 1, 2011 at 6:38amScott (Benedict Arnold) Brown can sell any cards his heart desires…….baseball or otherwise. He has proved himself to be a traitor to conservative republican ideals time and again……..siding with the likes of Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins time and again.
He will lose the election.

Posted on June 30, 2011 at 9:59pmScott has forgotten how many people from other states, me included, gave to his kitty last time. He has not been all he promised, so he may be surprised how many people from out of state, me included again, who will send our money to a true conservative if one can be found in that state.

Posted on June 30, 2011 at 3:49pmI sent him money when he was running to fill Fat Ted Kennedy’s empty seat and loved it when he won. Boy was I sorry I did! He’s a jerk and I hope he loses.

Posted on June 30, 2011 at 2:56pmNot a Scott Brown fan, although I certainly find him much more acceptable to his predecessor or his traitorous senior senator from taxachusetts.
Report Post »I find the idea quite refreshing for a politician to use capitalism to raise money for his campaign. The dollars he gathers through the sales of his cards will make him more independent and less obligated to the buyers of politicians in Massachusetts.
I lived in Springfield in the 1960′s. One of my favorite memories was when a Boston Democrat was elected to the state legislature while serving a sentence in Walpole. After his election, he was provided transportation to and from the prison for each legislative session. There were actually a few folks I met who found it unusual to have a convicted criminal as a member of the legislature. Most of the local folks seemed to think that the rest of the legislature were just folks that hadn’t been previously caught and convicted.
This the Brown baseball cards beets the hell out of a Markey endorsement.

Posted on June 30, 2011 at 12:26pmShould have a RINO for the picture. Let’s see if Scott CLOWN can win without the Tea Party support.

Posted on June 30, 2011 at 10:14amHe may vote with the GOP 90% of the time, but always seems to vote with the Dem’s on anything really important. No more money from me. Nice to claim Ted’s seat, but was it really worth it…..

Posted on June 30, 2011 at 12:09amI really get the impression that this man has some sort of brain damage or mental handicap. This is just like Alvin Green’s idea to sell action figures of himself- completely DELUDED/IDIOTIC.
This idiot drives around in some 1980s pickup smiling like a happy moron and it works!
When he came out with his lame autobiography this year and spilled his guts about being molested as a kid I knew he was dumber than dirt. Nobody wants to see or hear your tearful “Oprah” moment. Suck it up and be a man. Tell it to your priest. Our brave soldiers come home having seen the horrific human tragedy of war but they don’t cry to us about it. They never have. It’s been this way since there have been wars. You just don’t talk about it. (Unless you are a self-serving whiny little BlTCH like Anthony Swofford.)

Posted on June 30, 2011 at 10:54amYou’ve got real problems. To say that if survivors of child rape need and of soldiers coming home from war need to suck it up and be a man, well, you’re one sick person. Not only are you un-American, you’re less than human. This country needs all the patriots it can get right now, and you’re not one of them. You’re a burden and the problem.

Posted on June 30, 2011 at 1:48amYOU MAY NOT LIKE HIM BUT YOU HAVE TO ADMIT, THAT IS CREATIVE…
And for Massachusetts, especially being Sen. Kennedy’s seat, where Romney wasn’t moderate enough to win it, you have to admit we got the best we can get right now out of Massachusetts, he has voted party line 90% of the time and for such a liberal state, Scott Brown might be good enough… at least for now???
We need more people like Demint. Have you seen his Cap, Cut, and Balance Pledge. Romney, Cain, Santorum, Gingrich have all signed it, they are just waiting for Bachmann and I think Huntsman actually said no to it: http://tiny.cc/0pl32

Posted on June 30, 2011 at 4:52pmWould you prefer another Kennedy rather than Brown. Brown is as right as you’re going to get in Massahusetts. If the Tea Party tried to replace Brown with a conservative the Democrat would thump that person in an election. Learn from Delaware. Sometimes a half of a loaf is all you can get. A half of a loaf is better than a liberal.
