Screaming Anti-Islam Protesters Taunt Muslims With Pig’s Head: ‘You’re Going to Melt in the Fires of Hell!’

If you‘re looking to spread God’s love, it’s probably not a good idea to show up to the Arab International Festival in Dearborn, Michigan, with a pig‘s head on a stick and signs telling Muslims that they’re poised to burn in hell. Yet this is exactly what happened over the weekend when some Christians from an anti-Islam group showed up at the event and confronted Muslim adherents with some unwelcome messages.
One of the protesters yelled, “You’re going to burn in hell,” among other sentiments. The signs the individuals held were less-than-covert in their messaging as well. One read, “Islam is a religion of blood and murder” and another said “Muhammad is a…liar, false prophet, murder, child molesting pervert.” Clearly, those in attendance weren’t there to play nice (caution: language).
Among the most tense moments during the Friday showdown occurred when some of the Arab Americans present at the conference began throwing water bottles and pop cans. Some of the attendees chanted “Allah-U-Akbar,” which translates to “God is the greatest.” The Christians responded with, “Jesus Akbar.” Most of the protesters who engaged in this debate were from an anti-Islam group called “Bible Believers.”
In the video, below, a man — purportedly part of the group — can be heard yelling, “You’re going to go straight to hell you little dirtbag, wicked heathen.” Then, he continued screaming at the the Arab attendees, claiming that they have “a religion of hate” and that God is going to “melt” them “one day in hell” (at another point he says, “You’re going to melt in the fires of hell forever!”).

Authorities in Wayne County attempted to keep calm and order between the two parties, as they tried to separate them — a difficult task considering the religious nature of the fighting at hand. The Detroit-Free Press has more about the festival and past drama that has unfolded there between Christians and Muslims:
The three-day festival is the largest public gathering of Arab-Americans in the U.S.; it has drawn Christian missionaries for years, but in 2009, some become more aggressive, leading to arrests and legal feuds. Dearborn has the highest concentration of Arab-Americans in the U.S., many of them Muslim, making it a magnet for some Christian missionaries.
The Bible Believers [one of the groups present among the protesters] also protested at last year’s Arab Festival, holding up both anti-Muslim and anti-Catholic signs and causing one Arab-American Muslim girl to cry.
As the Free-Press notes, there were also peaceful Christian protesters at the event. These individuals spoke kindly to the Muslim attendees and handed out flyers. One Christian woman work a shirt that read, “I [heart symbol] Muslims,” while handing out gospel pamphlets.

1,400 years of non-stop, violent jihad against non-muslims the planet over is more than a mere speck. Islam and the muslims that spread it through Jihad are far more than a speck. They are a horde of third-world barbarians spreading a social system based on filth. They should not be on American soil. Period.
It is the muslims and their intransigence who are responsible for the treatment they receive. I fully support any non-muslim, Christians included, who work hard to make the muslims feel subdued and frightened. Perhaps if they feel subdued enough, they will self deport.

Just the same, when you frame the actions of the Israelis in the sands of time, complaints about the whole Israel / Palestine schtick fall apart. People have been trying to outright annihilate the Israelites for over 3000 years, yet we are so bloody concerned with the past 70- years of Israel trying to defend itself and carve out a meager existence on a sj1t strip of land, but no, we’re supposed to cry for the terrorists in this story…

To non believers this claim is absurd. For intolerance of various religions is the foundation of Judaism, Christianity, Muslim and many other orthodox communities. Matter of fact, the Bible and Pentateuch commands religious intolerance in MANY verses, even to the point of KILLING people for their beliefs. Here then, are a few choice verses that show just how intolerant these religionists are of other believers and nonbelievers. We shall start with the two verses that helped to inflict one of the biggest mass murders in history, the Inquisition.

They were into brutality, cruelty, incest, bestiality, cultic prostitution, and even child sacrifice by fire. They were an aggressive culture that wanted to annihilate the Israelites. God warned the Canaanite people and gave them over 400 years to change their ways.

Christianity is about winning hearts and minds, Islam is about taking by force and the killing and/or the total subjugation of those that resist.

First of all the Inquisition was authorized – approved by the Pope because of the growing number of ‘Heretics’ (look it up) in the Catholic communities of Europe.and FYI very few people were put to death, or even tortured. In Spain the Inquisition was much harsher. Again due to the number of Heretics and also the large number of ‘Infidels’, aka Jews there.
Under the Muslim rule of Spain the Jewish people lived ‘relatively peacefully’ as Dhiminis even though that violated the very strict laws of Judaism (Dhimini is a dirty word to a Jew). When the Muslims were finally defeated and kicked out, in 1492 iirc Spain reverted to a Catholic nation and Jewish people had a choice, convert on their own accord, or leave Spain and Europe. Those that refused to leave or convert suffered the fate of the Inquisition and yes, in Spain, many died.
Furthermore, the ‘Witch Hunts’ in Europe and America were much later, in the 1600′s, long after the Inquisition was abolished by the Pope. So your two Bible verses are 100% irrelevant. Oh, and you do know that they come from the Jewish Torah/Pentateuch don’t you?
Lastly it’s also odd that your two references to Jesus and Killing people have no reference to any Bible passage. Now you didn’t make that up for fun, did you, you little rascal?

Show me where a reputable Christian church or Messianic Jewish congregation openly teaches or instructs their members to follow-through with the Old Testament teachings.
Watching atheists try and use the bible to express their discontent towards it is always humorous.

The Torah(which does not mean “Law”) of God was never done away with (Matthew 5:17,-18, Luke16:17, ETC, ETC, ETC, ETC). Only man-made law/tradition was challenged by Jesus, and only rotten heart obediance (toward Torah) was challenged by God. Put your gospel tounge into proper perspective. Their willful ignorance of the Bible combined with their two faced idealism to preach it, has made us sick, hasn’t it? They quote Jesus and Paul profusely, with a liberal sprinkling of Old Testament moralism. The problem with their approach lies not only in an oft- noted failure to practice what they preach, but an equally pronounced tendency to ignore what the Bible itself, preaches. Christians practice what can only be described as “selective morality”.
What they like, they cling to and shove down other’s throats; what they don’t like, they ignore vehemently. That which is palatable and acceptable is supposedly applicable to all; while that which is obnoxious, inconvenient, or self-denying is only applicable to those addressed 2,000 years ago. Their hypocrisy is so rampant that even the validity of calling oneself “Christian” is in question. I see so many people enjoy quoting the Ten Commandments, the Sermon on the Mount, and some of Paul’s sermons, but don’t even PRETEND to heed other, equally valid, maxims.

You label Christians in the same lump… all are bad. There are many who are true Christians, but all Christians are human, and humans are subject to being imperfect. Though God “was” purging the pagans from the land in the Old Testament, the New Testament (the new contract through Jesus) nowhere tells Christians to kill, rather to forgive. I disagree with the method their delivering their message in this story, we (Christians) are to deliver the message with patience and gentleness, still what they’re saying is not a lie.

For the most part, Christians “lecture” on the teachings of Jesus, etc, but only to other Christians. Sure, there are a few misguided souls who think they should changes people’s behaviour, rather than their hearts (behavioral changes follow heart changes), but most of us are painfully aware of our own failings and hence our need for someone to save us from them.
You rant a bit about the “other maxims” yet you don’t list any. You complain about Christians shoving things down others’ throats, yet here you are, trying to shove your hatred for Christians down their throats, making you the same hypocrite you claim to hate.

We are all human and as a Christian I am FAR from perfect, I fail to live up the the commandments of God’s word daily, but I am forgiven and given a clean slate daily if I confess my sins and ask God for another go at it. I will fail at being all that God calls me to be, but He is nothing of not gracious and faithful to his promises even if I am not.

Followers of Christ are actually BORN-AGAIN AND FOLLOW AND DO WHAT JESUS SAID on a daily basis. TRUE followers of Christ TAKE RESPONSIBILITY and are accountable to God and not man.
They KNOW that eternity will be with their Savior BECAUSE they actually follow and do what the Bible tells them to do.
So, please use the correct terminology. Big difference there bud.
