Tiny Helmet Cameras on 25 SEALS Captured Entire 40-Minute OBL Raid

CBS reports:
WASHINGTON – A new picture emerged Thursday of what really happened the night the Navy SEALs swooped in on Osama bin Laden’s compound in Pakistan.
CBS News national security correspondent David Martin reports the 40 minutes it took to kill bin Laden and scoop his archives into garbage bags were all recorded by tiny helmet cameras worn by each of the 25 SEALs.
Officials reviewing those videos are still reconstructing a more accurate version of what happened. We now know that the only firefight took place in the guest house, where one of bin Laden’s couriers opened fire and was quickly gunned down. No one in the main building got off a shot or was even armed, although there were weapons nearby.
The SEALs first saw bin Laden when he came out on the third floor landing. They fired, but missed. He retreated to his bedroom, and the first SEAL through the door grabbed bin Laden’s daughters and pulled them aside.
When the second SEAL entered, bin Laden’s wife rushed forward at him — or perhaps was pushed by bin Laden. The SEAL shoved her aside and shot bin Laden in the chest. A third seal shot him in the head.
The top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee went to CIA headquarters Thursday to view photos the SEALs took of bin Laden’s body.

He just said that there were 20 or 25 minutes when they went into the compound that they couldn’t tell what was happening. We already know the military has used helmet cams with night vision to record operations–it’s been on tv many times. But I think they only record. 24 helmet cams transmitting at once doesn’t make sense. What does make sense is a drone watching it from above and transmitting live. The Situation Room saw them land, go in and after 20 or 25 minutes, drag Osama’s carcass to the chopper, blow the other chopper and leave. My guess is Hillary was reacting to the blast of the downed chopper.

What happened in the White House situation room is anyone’s guess. One thing’s for sure. Obama is no hero.

He’ll fall back on: “It was their call within the guidelines I established for the mission and ”if” excessive force was used, or the killing is determined to be unlawful, I will have to allow the judicial system to work according to international law.”
Before this is over, the SEALs will have to deal with a great deal of anxiety they do not deserve. I have seen it before – far too often, as devoted warrior poets and knights are thrown under the bus.

Do they want to tell all their buds, probably. Will they? Not for the code. Do all the other numerous Seals know who they are? Probably. Will they tell? NO!
Perhaps many years from now the facts will out. If all this is wrong, then the U.S. Seals fraternity is without merit.

There is a big difference between recording events and broadcasting events. I’m sure they might of turned the broadcast off so as to not risk potential intercept while they were initially hitting the compound. That doesn‘t mean they didn’t record it all

Each man was carrying a camera, each weapon, and each piece of equipment. I even bet there were gasps when the tail survived the destruct on the helo.

Two fully loaded Blackhawks equals 22 men +6 crew, not twenty five and six, and unless back ups were less than 180 miles or less away, back up Blackhawks could not have arrived in time to carry the team members from the downed Blackhawk within forty minutes. Additionally these Blackhawks were heavily stealth modified, modifications of this type add weight so the reduce caring capacity, by as much as four men, therefore we have need of a minimum of three choppers to carry a 25 man team, perhaps even four choppers. Yet we are told repeatedly it was two, doesn’t add up.
