New Mosque Vid Exclusive: Rep Tells Kids ‘Holy War is a False Definition of Jihad’

An exclusive video obtained by The Blaze (produced by Americans for Peace and Tolerance) shows that the same tour guide claiming women could vote under Muhammed also claims that “holy war is a false definition of Jihad.”
In the new exclusive video, a mosque representative can be seen describing Jihad to the children:
Holy war is a false definition of Jihad, and it actually is not anywhere in the Koran that war is holy or that Jihad means holy war. The meaning of Jihad is actually struggle or striving.
Yet in the video, APT points out several passages in the Koran, as well as quotes from Muslims, that seem to contradict that assertion.
A high quality version of the video will be officially released by ATP on its website on Sunday afternoon.

Posted on September 17, 2010 at 1:34pmI am a devout Christian. I try to not only talk the talk but do my best to walk the walk. I even demand my own pastors and preachers to prove to me where in the bible they are getting their points from. PROVE IT!!! If Holy War isn’t in the Quran then prove it! Cite your holy book. Christians are constantly bombarded to cite scripture book and verse to prove what they are stating is real. I want to see Muslims start to have to defend their Holy book as Christians do.

Posted on September 17, 2010 at 1:28pmI wonder if anyone looked up the history of the “religion” of Muslim. To my understanding it’s merely a battle cry that Mohammad used to conquer neighboring countries and unite the tribes into one “religion”. In My opinion the koran is no more than a book that was written by authors such as hitler or stalin. What religion tells you do deceive anyone? Or kill or convert non believers for that matter. It’s totally unacceptable that our teachers and schools are even involved in any of this. First it‘s separation of church and State now it’s the opposite. I think the computer thing instead of teachers or better yet adminestrators would do just fine and free up some very valuable money to pay people who are worth it. Sorry to all muslims but you are following a battle cry.

Report Post »Freedomwatcherguy
Posted on September 17, 2010 at 4:43pmNobody is setting any one straight here. Theological degrees are not necessary to evaluate the religion of Islam or any other religion. It’s a little complicated by the fact that the Koran, which was delivered in installments over 23 years, but not actually written down until long after Mohamed’s death, isn’t in chronological order, but organized according to the length of its suras, longest first. If you study it in chronological order along with the bio of Mohamed, it makes a lot more sense. You can follow his career and place the verses of the Koran in that context. Very interesting looked at that way, saying the least. Sharia is a totalitarian system covering every aspect of the Muslim’s life. Unlike Christianity, it recognizes no separation of mosque and state, and no tolerance whatsoever for any other religions, beliefs or political systems. It takes no particular depth of understanding to figure this out, or to see that it poses a real threat to free societies everywhere, especially ours, since we have become the “great satan” and the focus of worldwide Muslim hatred. They will hate us and try to destroy us until we either convert or die. Short of that, they cannot be placated. They are mobilizing within our own borders under the cover of freedom of religion and political correctness. The only question is, what can we do about it?

This answer is for POPPOPSHELL, for a question that he asked the other day:
The Koran (also spelled Qur’an), the holy book of the Islamic religion, was written by followers of the prophet Muhammad (c. 570–632). From 610 until his death, Muhammad received visions from Allah (God). Muhammad’s followers recorded these visions in what is now the Koran. Although parts of the 114 chapters of the Koran were recorded during his lifetime, the final version was compiled after his death. Muslims (the term for members of the Islamic religion) believe that the Koran is only a copy of an eternal book that is kept by Allah in heaven as his complete message to humankind. Half poetry and half prose, the Koran has a powerful effect on listeners when read aloud. Nonbelievers often demanded that Muhammad perform miracles, but he explained that he was an ordinary man—not God. According to Muhammad, the Koran was a miracle because of its perfect use of the Arabic language. According to the Koran, Allah is God and Muhammad will be coming back on the second coming instead of Jesus! So it depends if you belive the Biible or the Koran, one is right and one is wrong!

Posted on September 17, 2010 at 1:24pmWe always had to have field trip destinations approved by administrators, and the trips had to support the learning standards/objectives. Permission slips had to be signed by parents. So, how was this field trip justified? Where is the ACLU? Why didn’t the parents object, if they signed permission slips? I‘m glad I don’t live in a state where this happens, as it doesn’t speak well of security and/or school board policies. This is clearly a violation of church and state. Even if they were studying the Middle East/current affairs, it is extemely inappropriate. I’d bet the ACLU would be all over this field trip if they had gone to a Catholic or Protestant church, a Mormon tabernacle, or a Jewish synogogue. Where’s the media coverage other than here? Posted on September 17, 2010 at 7:20pmActually this reply is to monkeymom . . .in the first video posted at youtube, one of the parent chaperones details the goal of the field trip as outlined on the permission slip:
Report Post »“. . .learn about the architecture of a Mosque and observe a midday prayer service.” This statement is highlighted in the video. Clearly, the school program directors were well aware of the prayer time and it’s relation to the trip. What is unclear, is what discussion about mosque (lower case m intentional) architecture took place, and whether that goal to learn about mosque architecture took place at all. As a matter of fact, mosque architecture is a laudable goal to teach middle school students. If I were a parent of one of these students,I would insist the school board invite scholars to ACTUALLY TEACH ABOUT THE ARCHITECTURAL EVOLUTION of seized Zoroastrian and Hindu temples , Christian, Jewish and Bhuddist houses of worship seized through jihad throughout the Muslim world which were transformed into triumphalist monuments glorifying Islamic conquest. I would demand time to introduce these students and their parents to another foundational element of the subsequent application of Islamic law, the shariah, and the consequent system of extreme humiliation and subserviance called dhimmitude resulting from Islamic conquest. Yes, examine further the controversial history of this “architectural marvel ” visited by these students in May, and do discuss the growing list of individuals with terror ties who are associated with the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center. Be thorough. Consider it a make up lesson in architecture which was overlooked during the field trip.

Don’t you think it is a bit contradictory to say that Islam is a religion of violence because “moderates” refuse to speak out against terrorism, yet whenever they DO speak out against extremist interpretations of Jihad, you shouldn’t believe them because they are clearly lying? You are making assumptions based on who they are rather than what they say, and that is a textbook example of prejudice and bigotry. Case closed!

Considering not all Christians are Catholics, one can’t define an entire religion on one leaders interpretation. Just because Pat Robertson said Haiti made a deal with the devil so they deserved the quake, doesn’t mean all Christians think that.
Fein, I may be wrong about the other Christianity and Judaism may not teach it, but as I said earlier I know it’s been a practice since both faiths survived. moriarty70–I think you are referring to “Roman purges” as the times when Christians were executed for their beliefs? If so, then, no they didn’t necessarily lie. It is a well-known fact that Christians were executed in droves, but that persecution (and their steadfastness to the death) was what helped the gospel spread so rampantly. In fact, the New Testament states very plainly in Matthew 5:11-12, “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”
This plainly states that persecution is an HONOR, NOT permission to lie about one’s beliefs. Jesus Himself did not weasel out of being executed for His claims of being God in the flesh, and every one of His disciples paid the ultimate price for their faith. Lying about one’s beliefs out of self-preservation (or to prostelytize) is in direct opposition with both the Ten Commandments AND New Testiment teaching by the apostles. Verses like Matthew are ALL over the New Testiment. In FACT, in Revelation, those martyred for their faith hold a special office in God’s Kingdom, and those who deny their faith do not make it into Heaven. Matthew 10:33, 39 says, “Whoever denies Me (Jesus) before men, I will also deny him before My Father in Heaven… He who has found his life will lose it, and he who has lost his life for My sake will find it.” Food for thought, huh?

Posted on September 18, 2010 at 9:43pmIf Jihad is not “Holy War”, what is Honor Killing? Maybe some are teaching a different form of honor? While I don’t think all Muslims would endorse such violence, I think we can all learn from Jesus’ example of the prodigal son story- the father (representing God the Father), freely let his child go astray (that would be us), until hungry and filthy, we return on our knees. Instead of exterminating him for his sins, his child is embraced, forgiven and blessed. I think every human interaction benefits when we truly follow Christ’s teachings (though I would freely admit that people who claim Christ have not always done so). Christianity teaches tolerance and my impression of Islam is that it requires conformity. Is honor killing in the Koran?
I guess the question isn’t “Is Jihad in the Koran?”, but rather, “Does Islam endorse killing people because they believe differently?” If Jihad isn’t in the Koran, and we have been misinformed, what does “Soldier of Allah” mean?

Posted on September 17, 2010 at 1:37pmThe goal is to convert all to Islam. The Koran preaches to deceive the infidel. I believe the bible preaches to be honest, especially in the face of death. This would be a moment where you are reconciling your life and sins. I don’t believe that Jesus would prescribe to the philosophy of deceit for conversion to Christianity. That said, leave our children alone and stop with the double standards of the acceptability of religion in regards to teaching, youth, the public debate, etc. History will explain many things, not sure on the spelling, but a robott is when they build a mosque as a symbol of Islam conquering a site, such is related to defeating the infidel. The ground zero mosque would be one of the largest in the world, a symbol of victory, using deceit to accomplish it, using deceit to defend it, using deceit and our own constitution to create a monument symbolize their success. Then recruiting, teaching, deceiving those who use this structure to defeat and infiltrate the homeland of the infidel.

Posted on September 17, 2010 at 4:09pmIf the teachers took muslim kids to a church odds are that the school would burn, or at the very least the teacher would receive death threats. Islam runs on mass hysteria, I’ll bet that there is no way on Earth that you could find nineteen devout young Christian men willing to fly planes into buildings and murder three thousand innocents in the name of Jesus Christ. Religion of peace??? NOT!!

Posted on September 17, 2010 at 7:01pmFreelancer, I can only assume you are kidding! If not, you might be surprised to learn that the doll supposedly spouting “Islam is the Light” has long been shown to be an urban myth. But, I suppose we all hear what we want.

Your post is a fabricated self censored spew of nonsense. If this periodical was Mormon censored, there would not be any foul comments allowed on it. They abound plentifully. You make it obvious that your intent is to smear and act as if you are a victim of someone preventing you freedom of speech.
Crawl back under your rock.
