Secret Service Probes Threatening Messages Left on White House Facebook Page

The Secret Service is investigating threatening messages that were left on the White House Facebook page, amid heightened alerts surrounding a possible Sept. 11 terror threat.

The messages included a picture of Osama bin Laden. One said, “We’ll come back U.S.A. One day only 11/9/2011,” using the date/month formula to reference Sept. 11.

“We’ll come to u white house sooooooooooon,” another said.

Another showed small plane icons and said, “We’ll come back 11/9/2011 to kill u all.”

The posts appeared briefly and were taken down.

Secret Service spokesman Ed Donovan said the agency referred the messages to its Internet threat desk.

“They process it, make an assessment and determine what the next step is,” Donovan said.

WNBC in New York was the first to report on the messages.

    These Jihadist talk a big talk but attacking the White House or the President would be their worst mistake. They are not that stupid, They would feel the wrath of the USA Military like never before! The Muslims here in America would be also very sorry because this type of attack would bring the wrath of Americans in a way that they could not imagine! Jihadist here and abroad beware, Americans may not be easy to anger but once we begin to roar there will be no stopping us!

      The Unions probably posted it… They are so P.Oed at him for not getting them any workers so they can steal their dues. So far the Union is not getting it’s moneys worth… They paid a fortune to get him
      elected and it has not paid off well for them yet.

    If true, it’s a shame and I hope the FBI finds and arrest the idiots involved. With that said unfortunately it probably happens more than we know. Heck there was a book about the assassination of Bush, but with Obama I get the feeling he is just trying to inject himself into this day. I‘ll never forget his announcement of Osama’s death when he couldn’t say “me” and “I” enough.

      The President actually used the pronouns “I” and “me” very little in his announcement of Bin Laden’sdeath. President Bush used first person pronouns exclusively when he cavalierly declared hewas no longer concerned about finding him. Liberals used to say conservatives would criticize Obama even if Bin laden were caught on his watch. I used to laugh at that. Turns out they were right.

      Considering that 22 members of SEAL Team 6 were killed in a highly suspicious ambush shortly after the bin Laden raid, H*** YES I criticize Obama. That raid was no victory. Nothing that traitor does ever spells victory.

      Look it up. Read the speech. You are wrong. Why your at it, look at a pic of Obama at the age of 21 and then find one of Rick Perry, GWB. you maybe surprised. Pics are worth a 1000 words. Obama tried to take all the Credit in Osama’s death. Not the soldiers and special ops that actually carried out the mission.

This is simply the same as the ‘oh my gosh’ terrorist threat for 9/11/11 – trying to capitalize on that ‘gutsy’ thing to no avail. Leave it to ‘ducker in chief’ to be afraid of a facebook message.

    So, obama’s good friend, Crime Boss Hoffa, calls for the murder(?) of elected Republicans and Americans associated with the Tea Party and he receives nothing but praise from obama and his democrats, but someone leaves a stupid message on the White House Facebook page (the White House has a Facebook page?) and the S.S. jumps into action to investigate the “threat”? Interesting.

    The fact remains, even if we have a snake for the President of our great nation — and a treasonous one at that — no one should be threatening bodily harm to them at all. Impeachment proceedings in the Congress or his resignation effective this instant are a different matter, though I do see them soon trying to crack down on calls for that as some kind of hate-speech as well.

      It depends ONLY on who you threaten and ‘which’ hate you espouse. The Left, the Black Caucus, the Unions can openly use hate speech and threats. There are no consequences for those who support hate and threats against: The Tea Party, white Americans, Israel, Republican women, etc.

    Several Things:
    1.) Come on mannnn, The WH has a facebook page?
    2.) These anonomous postings get the undivided attention of the Secret Service, yet direct & attributable quotes from union thugs towards candidates & candidate grass roots organizations get nothing. Only figures.
    3.) That photo showing the POTUS, FPOTUS, and former president Bush and Laura without saying a word, says everything wrong with the current occupants. During that moment of silence, the Bush’s are locked hand-in-hand obviously praying to the almighty for wisdom, guidance, & comfort. Looking at the other two, I see two individuals, twiddling thier thumbs, wandering when the event will end so that they can board their his/her planes.

    I‘m a proud member of the Tea Party and I’ve been personally threatened many times from these very people! Where’s the justice here? Ron Paul in 2012. End the Fed. The only other person that felt he had enough support and power to attack the Fed was J.F.K. and we all know how that worked out for him. Pray for Ron Paul. God protect him in his noble quest to fight the Fed.

      Europeans reverse the day and month….that‘s why they didn’t know what 9/11 referred to. to them, it’s 11/9. But I agree with you, I’d have hightened security on November 9th just to be sure. the military writes it 11SEP11.

      I think if I were in the Sec. Service, I’d keep an eye open in November. Maybe it is just a bunch of idiot Europeans who can’t figure out how to keep time, but it might be a handy tool to cause confusion in the SS. (Is it just me or does that way of abbreviating Secret Service evoke terror?). Hopefully, the boys who keep our president safe are good enough to investigate both dates, rather than making assumptions.

      Yes… Euros use a different order for month and day… but their intelligence agencies were fully aware of the different ways of explaining a date and time… as they are now.

      To think that a simple error in recognizing the date of a potential attack is even remotely likely… well… not sure what to even say to that.
