Secret Service Scandal Continues: Was Taxpayer Money Used to Pay Colombian Prostitutes?

Peter King, a top House Republican, is leaving no stone unturned in the recent Secret Service prostitution scandal, wherein members of the president’s protective detail allegedly hired “escorts” while in Colombia.
Among dozens of other questions aimed at Secret Service Director Mark Sullivan, the House Homeland Security Committee Chairman asked whether any of the women were paid using government “per diem” funds.
Though the scandal came to light after one of the agents allegedly refused to pay his escort the agreed amount, it still remains unclear exactly how many government agents paid how many hookers.
Fox News reports that one of the women, at least, may have been paid around $225.
King‘s inquiries follow Senator Joe Lieberman’s call for another investigation into White House personnel in Colombia at the same time, “just to make sure that none of them were involved in this kind of inappropriate behavior.”
While the Secret Service has maintained that it will assist in any and all investigations, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney has been dismissive of the possibility that White House staff could have been involved in the scandal.

Its not the single starving Mexican who comes to the US to find work and feed his family. It is the small business owners who choose to pay such works $5-$6 and hour cash to avoid payroll taxes, workers comp., reasonable employee benefits, etc. Essentially to make more money than their business or the situation would or should provide. These small business men are the criminals in this situation and should be fined $250,000 per illegal worker. If that were to occur the number of illegal workers would drop considerably. Illegal aliens are not supported to get their vote. They are a group which is exploited by small businessmen who provide contributions to political candidates to maintain the status quo.
