When two travelers found themselves stranded at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, they decided to whip out their camera and record their zany escapades and antics. While the video has gone viral and does, indeed, offer up a few laughs, some people are questioning the airport’s security measures. CNN has more:
The video shows the men racing through airport’s empty terminal corridors in airport wheelchairs while a janitor who is vacuuming gives them a puzzled look.
They also try out the public address system at American Airlines Gate A14 and pound the keyboard of one of its computers. One of the men even does a handstand in the background…
But in one of the video’s most talked-about scenes, they enter a closed restaurant, and one of the men appears to pour himself a glassful of beer on tap, which he drinks in one gulp.
Airport officials, of course, are defending their security measures, claiming that these men were monitored appropriately while filming. Watch the clip below to see the crazy antics unfold and tell us what you think:

It dawned on me if there’s only two of them who was the third person filming the video the whole time? I agree now with the others that this is just some kids thinking this is the way to become movie producers and in this pathetic world we’re living in it is..Sad.

Posted on June 18, 2011 at 4:00pmThis looks professionally done. And if it wasn’t, they’re just being free. Freedom is good. The terrorists lose. :) I have lost my freedom. I refuse to fly any more. I won’t be irradiated or groped because it is un-American and I am a ‘real’ American. The terrorists got one over on me thanks to the idiocy and incompetence of our government.
Say hello to the future jack booted thugs of America- the TSA. We will sorely regret creating the TSA in the future, America. Blue is my favorite color. Their shirts should be brown. America the beautiful, why are you so stupid?

Posted on June 18, 2011 at 3:57pmOne look at the kids in the opening scene is all I needed to see to explain it. Racist? Whatever. If it’s true how can it be racist?
I looked at em, in two seconds formed my opinion by the way they’re dressed in an airport first and then they proceeded to prove me right. It may be an old adage but one I chucked long ago because YOU CAN JUDGE BOOKS BY THEIR COVERS once you’ve read millions of them.
In this country today its the same old same old from the same old same old. Nothing changes unless it gets worse. And it’s getting worse not better. Until standards for all Americans are raised to be the best one can be it’ll be a race to the third world. Nothing more nothing less.
Look around, this country is in the worst shape it‘s ever been in the 47 years I’ve been living in it in 15 different states so it‘s a disease that won’t cure itself.

Posted on June 18, 2011 at 3:39pmHas no one figured out this liberal power grab formula yet?
This is classic progressive manipulation at work.
Make something kind of newsworthy, or viral that also has a questionable aspect to it (airport security), and soon you have a recipe for more government regulation, more wasteful spending, and more union workers. Case sunstien’s the most brilliantly manipulative man on this planet and he knows how to get things done.
Do not doubt for one second his hand is not moving things around in order to nationalize all air travel into “Government Airlines.”. The need more union dues desperately to pump into the 2012 election.
Keep your eyes open and try to alert everyone when you see it happening. It may not change things in the immediate future, but when people are at least informed, it is the first step to changing the outcome.

Posted on June 18, 2011 at 3:10pmNot picking sides here but the airport probably did have the situation under control as far as a security risk to air travel. They obviously didn’t have control of the beer tap (that‘s the vendor’s job). Seems like everyone wants to complain that the TSA is doing WAY TOO MUCH ( e.g. sexual assaulting travelers etc) and now a couple of guys make a very well thought out video and the world says the TSA dropped the ball?????? These guys were just having fun and did not exploit some lapse of security. I just hope he left a $5 on the bar for the beer and didn’t scratch the flat screen with his shoe…

Posted on June 18, 2011 at 4:23pmSounds to me you might have a blue shirt hanging in your closet? I dont think the TSA has made air travel any safer in this country, I’m not sure they have foiled one terrorist plot by themselves, because if they did Shreck from dept of homeland security would have been on the today show telling us how much safer we are today than we were yesterday, and not to have one or two security officers in a closed down wing of an airport is pathetic.

You just gave these amature videographers/video editors the biggest compliments of their life!! haha No, this isnt propaganda from who ever you say it may be. did anybody check out the caption to the video, or Joe’s other videos!!! He is an amature videographer!!! A genius punk with some editing skills and an HD camera!! HD cameras arn’t that hard to come by these days. Rather small too. ANYTHING you shoot with HD comes out crisp, clear and professional. A couple of ADD/ADHD kids with too much time and energy on their hands and HD equipment in there carry-ons. They saw an opportunity to create somthing, and took it and ran with it. Yes, its controversial, thats why the filmed it. so they could take it back to their friends and show everybody. Who would have believed them? I believe there was a laps in security but the airport is ABSOLUTELY empty. AND ALSO, in the beer scene, the “Canon EOS” blue colored thing coming out of his back pack, thats a TRI-POD guys!!! which allows them to both be in front of the camera!!

It did not get all those fancy camera angles under the wheels of a wheel chair without a lot of expensive gear. This is not a cell phone camera film. This is carefully produced and edited. Hello?
So your question at this point is who produced it? How did they get permission from the airport to film at night when no one was there? and What was their purpose in producing and releasing this thing? Also, why in the world were you all fooled into thinking this is amateur cell phone video of two guys caught in an airport overnight?

Posted on June 19, 2011 at 10:00amWhy would it have to be a cell phone camera taking these videos? I take my full-sized camera (Canon Powershot S5IS, not a small point and shoot) around with me all the time. I would wonder who the third person was that took the video though. There were obviously at least three people around to make this video… and there was obviously a lot of editing that went on after the filming was shot.
